I got me a stealth bc rich from aliexpress years ago, slapped a dimarzio x2n pick up like chucks and it plays and feels really good for a knock off, only issue I had was the plastic nut literally exploded in 2 places mid playing, luckily I had a spare to replace it
I like the smaller headstock more than the real BC Rich gigantic headstock. You can almost use the real BCR headstock as the body and add a pickup on it, it's so big.
If it's a Khaler X-Trem then it is real. XTrem is a Chinese made Khaler and they are actually fantastic. I really doubt a company would go to lengths to copy an already inexpensive Chinese Khaler. But the XTrem works Amazing and stays in tune. It's a shame they forgot the NUT on yours but that's easy enough installed. The worse part is that big chip !
true, I can use some black pinstripe paint and a fine brush to make some wood grain look. then mix a little black in some clear coat and air brush it.. but its low priority , eventually maybe. thanks for the tip.
thanks for the comment @-w-scott7114. i didn't know what to expect buying something like this from a website. it has sharp edges and they tried packing it well but their's always ( that guy ) the one who pet detectives your package all the way to your door! haha. stay tuned it's not over..
No, it is only illegal to sell them as originals. I have an LP and a Tele Chinese knockoff, both are great, neither are as good as the real thing, but both together were less than $525. I spent 300 more and upgraded the hardware on both guitars and have two great playing comfortable guitars that nobody has to die if they get broken or stolen. Both arrived in perfect condition.
This is the problem that I have with counterfeits: What could have been a fun and (relatively) inexpensive clone gets turned into a useless POS that is too messed up to play AND too pretty to mod (and might not even be repairable). That's what wankers who demand a fake decal and a fake serial number went FAR out of their way to order. I have an old Washburn Shadow, a Strat clone. It's better than my MIM Strat from the same era. It's also not pretending to be a Fender. While people rant about "lawsuit" 1970s guitars, this intentionally faked Bich could result in a Federal criminal suit AND at least three intellectual-property suits seeking punitive damages in the five-figure range. If for any reason it's sold without having all the fake labels obliterated, all those possible charges come into play PLUS criminal fraud with the buyer as plaintiff.
In a couple of weeks time: Knock knock- "Hi, US Customs Service. We're here to talk about all the Chinese knock-off guitars you have. The ones where you uploaded all the evidence to UA-cam..."
Yo why does take people this long to open a box bruh I'm blocking your channel just because it took you that long I don't even care whats in the box like wtf later 😂😂😂😂😂
looks like they did a tour with it before shipping it out 🤣
It had seen better days when it was a tree. for sure.

While the pickups may not be real, genuine EMGs do have color coordination on the letters for 81 85 etc

Honestly a really solid guitar, too bad it wasn’t packed with 10 lbs of bubble wrap instead of styrofoam
It's really decent one WOW
Sweet axe bro! They should make things right for the damage though!

not bad looking how does it play?
after all i went through, it does play well.
What is the body wood?
looks like basswood.
Is it illegal to buy these in the states, thru the mail???
Good question, though the market is flooded with knock off's of all kinds. I guess their too busy having coffee and doughnuts to care to stop it.

how much did you pay for her
1- 28 -23 I paid 500.00
Too bad for the chip no biggie , only cosmetic wont affect play at all.

Luckeeeeeeeee……
Any finish imperfections are ok…sometimes chasing perfections deepens the bruise…
great comment.. I agree. Why open a can of worms.
I'd be pissed if they bashed it up!
Bro that blow out on that guitar is horrible. I would send it back. No way I would keep it.
I know. But If i can paint a car I can is this too.. it has character.
