Can u tell in angular velocity ratio theorem why link 2 and link 4 are taken so large enough to contain instantaneous centre 24?
I think, It is to find the linear velocity of l24, from this we can find the angular velocity of link 4
Why have u not taken the point C instead of D for writing velocity V24 in angular velocity ratio theorem?? Can we take point C also.
We can't take the point c because link 4 is rotating about point D
I thought the velocity of all Instantaneous Centers are zero, it was a condition in my Dynamics class. Please enlighten me more, thank you.
sir, what about the case when the instantaneous centre does not lie on rigid body.is angular ratio theorem still applicable??
