On my flathead i thought i lined the cams up perfectly, but there is way less valve overlap on the front cylinder and it doesnt run right. Sifton race cams.
just a tip, if you use 3 or 4 long studs, it will hold the gasket in place, and guide the cover on perfectly. once the remaining bolts are in, you can just remove the studs, and install the remaining bolts
Yo dude did you really assemble this whole deal and do so DRY ????????????????? Are you crazy ? I cannot for the life of me see how you have been a mechanic anywhere . NO real mechanic I know would ever install Cams without assembly lube on everything that touches any kind of brass bushing . YOU Cannot go steel to brass and do so DRY dude are you feeling alright ?

11:18 I apply oil to the steel ends that fit the brass bushings 🤗 are you feeling alright?
