7:32 This is the only rule mistake I found in the video. You aren't supposed to place an Explorer in each land of the type revealed in this card. You're supposed to perform an "Explore" action, which is different because that means you only place Explorers in matching lands that contain, or are adjacent to, a City, Town, or Coast. The setup as described in this video makes it harder than it should be.
Great video! One question: During the first invader explore phase (in board setup)... Don't they only go to a single corresponding land next to the ocean? You put them in ALL corresponding lands
Super tutorial. Wish I’d looked for this a couple of days ago. Just spent a number of hours over 2 days trying to understand the manual. Seems I got it right though :). So am I right in presuming that in the full game when you pick 4 power cards and select one to keep that all the major and minor power cards are generic so they can all be used by any of the spirits? Hopefully you have a review for Terra Mystica as well as I also have that to learn at some point ! Thank you.
Yes, that's correct, all powers can be used by all spirits. You will likely find, however, that certain powers combo better with your individual spirit, especially with regard to accumulating elementals.
