@@redpillpirate111 yep! We're a bit behind due to a mini-vacation and the never ending hockey tournaments this time of year. But yes, we will have a video coming
My boyfriend and I were there and thought you were the best driver of the night. You absolutely nailed that turn right before the VIP section better than anyone. Also we bought merch for the first time and your wife is genuinely so nice. You and your family seem so down to earth. I might not know much cars but I love watching your videos with my boyfriend.
Love just seeing random comments from my favorite dudes ! It’s funny how birds of a feather flock together! There are people that follow the same exact channels that you would never guess … good knows good !
Derick has to be the hardest working guy on the tubes. VGG, Roadworthy Rescue, In the Isles and there's probably ten other things we don't know about that's happening behind the scenes like being a great dad and tending to the farm. Man he's putting in the hours and I'm so grateful I have this dude to watch on Friday nights! Hey Derick, if you read this (or not), God Bless you brother because you certainly bless us.
The great thing about Derek is he's one of those guys as long as the rubber side is down and the engines doing an engine things, you can never count him out!
My son and I met made Derek and Jessica at this event and they were so kind. Derek, my young daughter wrote you a letter because she couldn’t make it so you signed a hat and shirt for her. I wanted you to know it made her so incredibly happy when we brought those home to her. You also signed my son’s 70 Chevelle that he hand painted to look like the Independence as well as taking the time for a photo with him. Thank you guys so much for taking the time for them and all the work you do to bring us along with you on the journey!
I was at this, you signed my boys hat, made his day. You had that first half dialed in. Had the smoothest line and were handling the slick spots in the kidney bean the best out of everyone. Nice and easy coasting through the mud while everyone else was hammering through it. Really impressed with your driving. (I used to race dirt about 10 years ago and sometimes the slowest looking make the fastest times)
I can't believe that you and the family have got me so hooked that when I saw you come in 1ST I actually screamed out a solid rebel yell !! lots of love from Texas man!!!!
Derek, you're so humble. Give yourself some credit, you can absolutely wheel a car. We all see you working through a pack of huge names in the racing and automotive industry. That's something to be proud of.
Derek, when you said we are calling this the peoples car it brought a tear to my eye..we lost our 21 yr old nephew 2 years ago..he was a proud marine..i just have to say i really appreciate the way you stand behind our military. the last thing i wanted to say is i hope you and the family had a wonderful thanksgiving..sendin love from central Bama

Thank you and the family for the Thanksgiving message on FB. You did well on the bean. Not a bad finish, even if you didn't get the corvette. Keep doin' what your doing and we'll keep watching! Love y'all
I never thought my farming YT channel would end up on the racing YT channel I watch, but here we are! I've been watching both channels now for years! Great content
Cleetus' gang did a great job putting on a first class show. All the UA-camrs videos of this event were positive and upbeat, especially the fans that have chimmed in. I'm gonna be there in the stands next year now that I've retired and have no conflicts. Where else can you see this mix of people and talents in 1 place have the time of their lives?
One of the rare times you can tell Derek was disappointed (with Charlotte, not the race) yet he still manages to maintain a positive attitude for his fans.
Great job, its hard to hear the disappointment in your voice, you and your family work so hard to entertain everyone. Being able to go and have fun is great. You'll get it squared away.
As fans, we're fortunate to realize your extraordinary abilities, & I'm thankful that many of us benefit from your energy, talent & experience. Jessica was brilliant in choosing a great man.
First thing my 4 year old daughter says when she sees the crown vic is "it doesn't have any rust on it dada!" LOL. She knows this show too well. hahaha
Great effort. I think it’s time for a new burnout rig though. Something that has a body on it would be good. You love squarebodys, do a truck dirt cheap with big power
Derek you always go above and beyond for us as your fans. You and your burnout cars, revivals, and “restorations” never cease to assume me. Thanks for a great show, and always going 110% in everything you do!!
Vary kool , thanks buddy, you did what you could with what you took, all the glory gos to God grace in Jesus, is the right way, thanks BigAl California
I had no clue the guys in the van pre had stock seats. It's crazy to know the one guy lunched his van 130ft. That guy is nuts. Still one the coolest things I've seen. Hope his back is alright
Even though you didn't win either one you still won the first half and you worked your butt off to get the truck done for the burnout contest and put one hell of a show on just for your fans me honestly I still consider that a win I honestly love watching your stuff and I've been watching you for 5 years I still consider when please keep up on the great content🎉
Also Derek, I think looking at Charlotte's motor is completely worth it-she's unique and fun to watch cause no one else really does the whole old-official-Craftsman Truck Series-truck burnout rig like you do, hoping maybe one day we'll see a completed, old skool body on her but was still a great run, fun to watch, absolutely a blast and I enjoy everything you do.
Chinese Fire-Drill is said to have originated when a ship run by British officers and a Chinese crew practiced a fire drill for a fire in the engine room. The bucket brigade were to draw water from the starboard side, pass it to the engine room, and pour it onto the simulated "fire". To prevent flooding, a separate crew was ordered to ferry the accumulated water from the engine room up to the main deck, and to heave the water over the port side. The drill had previously gone according to plan, until the orders became confused in interpretation. The bucket brigade began to draw the water from the starboard side, run directly over to the port side and then throw the water overboard, bypassing the engine room completely
I'm sorry for what happened to Charlotte. Your dedication to the fans is impressive. Hope the truck will be ok when you get a chance to check on the engine. On a happier note - that was some darn good driving sir! Thanks for all you do ~ Chuck

Excellent job out there concentrating you never seem to catch a break with the transmission issue and the lack of power steering! The old burn out truck had bum luck too but that’s VGG!
