I love that you are getting Lili riding lessons, thank you for nurturing her interest. I hope she sticks with it even when its gets difficult (as you progress, riding can get hard but is so rewarding in the end), she seems like the kind of girl that won't let hard work get in the way of what she wants to do. Learning about proper care and control of horses is so important to developing a confident relationship with horses, and teaches kids so many life skills.

Frist thought Henry was Mr. Brown in the Ergo. That is when I started first watching. Seeing Henry not want to have anything on his feet is adorable. Lily turning into a lady. Try not to remember to much about the fact that everyone growing up. Just means we are all getting older. That bacon looked so good. Looks like you have lots of up and coming meat for the farm. You are finding lots of small pasture places. Fun for me just watching like a grandma that watches the grandkids grow.

Honey is a sweet cow! I like the longer videos, make sure you get lots of footage of all the leaves changing colors this autumn!
And if you want to make Lily's horse dream come true, a smart way of doing it would be to find someone looking to rent a stable. You can house someone else's horse on your pasture, and they not only pay you, but pay for all the feed and vet bills.
I like seeing you and all the kids solve problems around the farm, and would also like to see more about what your wife does and how she homeschools your kids. Thanks for the longer videos!

Justin you should get a Tri blade brush cutter for your strimmer, cuts through large bramble trunks and small branches and does the strimming part too, cheap as chips also. I'm sure you have them stateside... game changer with brush ... And no this is not an ad. I just bought it and it worked a treat

If Lilly sticks with riding (which she probably will because once a girl gets the horse bug we're caught for life)
And if you consider getting a horse in the future as you've mentioned recently I highly recommend looking for a leasing situation first.
That offers her more riding time and introduces her to some of the experiences of ownership without the staggering cost to you guys right away.
Also now is the time for you all to be soaking up all the horsey information as she's learning as well because when you eventually do get into a lease or ownership you won't be starting from the beginning and running into expensive vet bills! Because there will be some no matter what and the internet is unforgiving as you so very well know hahaha.
Best of luck to her and those gorgeous new tall boots!

My heart is full of joy to see Lily taking horse back riding lessons. I actually was going to post how she is so ready to take on the responsibility of a pony. All the time and care she gave the rabbits was amazing and she showed how much she learned about rabbit husbandry. Not her fault they didn't breed. Then how she took on the little bummer lamb and kept him alive. I know she must have been so sad to have him end up in the freezer, even though that is the way of the farm. And getting the kittens was ok but they are outside pets and farm cats. The boys have been given the motor bike equipment, the motorcycle, the quad and all those boy things but Lily asks for a horse and she isn't acknowledged. But we only see the content you share and have no idea what is really happening. Don't need to and it is your family but I am so happy for Lily. And Justin, you are an amazing dad so full of love and not afriad to express it. And I love Rebecca's sense of humor. She is the perfect match for your. And all the kids are such hard workers. Smart as whips, too.

I'm always trying to think of an easier way...a system that makes less work for me in the long run.
I'm seeing you move cows every day, and I think moving sheep in the same areas. And you have to move each animals shelter each time. What if you had a simple stanchion/shelter in each area, not necessarily movable. And just move the animals. Just curious if that could save time on a daily basis, in the long run...
