I saw Billie live on her tour two nights before the Academy Awards, and she told us in the crowd that she was battling a really bad sinus infection (she said she was on a ton of meds and steroids, and actually asked the audience to help out for the last few songs because her voice was almost gone)! I'd honestly never had known if she hadn't said anything - she sounded amazing. :-) So I'm guessing she was still dealing with it during this performance, too.
Never mind that Billie was on the tail end of her tour here. Speaking of tours, LP has finally kicked off her 2019 tour ( lol) here in the US and would love you to react to her. Most people start with Lost On You live from Harvard and Stone but her live cover of Halo is beyond words.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of your videos before but I absolutely love the way you analyze it and describe it you’re very easy-going I love it and Billie Eilish is such an incredible singer but this performance gave me a whole new respect for her I just went and saw her in concert for the first time for my first concert ever just a few months ago and it was still the beginning of her chore for the most part but the week before this performance she was doing shows and the last two shows of that week right before this performance every time she spoke you could tell that she had lost her voice in the last concert right before I think it was either the day before or two days before this it was to the point where when she sat down and speaking to the audience she asked them to sing as loud as they could to help her out because she was sick and she had lost her voice and she was doing everything she could to give them the best show possible so singing here is after losing her voice and being very sick
Wow how incredible. She is amazing! Thank you so much for such a fabulous comment, I try and do my best to tell you how and what they are doing ;) She is wonderful isn't she?
@@ZoeStibiVocalCoach There are very few artists in my almost 40 years of life that I would pay for to see in person she is number one on that list and there’s only five she is absolutely incredible And I can’t wait to see more of your videos I love it
Hi Zoe, listen and comment on the Maneskin cover of Billie Eilish's song Bury a Friend at Global Citizen in Paris. You will like it!!! I like your comments!!!! Giampiero from Sardinia (Italy)
I have no problem with the 'issue' you're talking about; it sounds great. I'm a singer in a choir and I think you're nit-picking. I'm not a pro but you did ask for opinions. I do love your reactions though.
Hi Suzanne! Thank you for your comment I 100% asked for opinions and everybody is entitled to theirs . I think that's the beauty of music that we can open these sorts of constructive discussions without tearing each other down, thank you.
Er, _gain_ is what we mere mortals call _volume._ I remember a roommate calling me up at work once asking where the volume knob was on my stereo, because it called it "gain" and he had never heard the term.
Great reaction and analysis 😍 When I saw the new Bond movie in the theatres and heard Billie sing the theme I enjoyed it immensely but I couldn’t shake the thought, “this would hit me so much more in the feels if Angelina Jordan would sing it”. I would love for you to react to one of Angelina Jordan’s songs. Hmm, which one though..? She’s currently 16 years old, but has already over 160 covers under her belt and four originals to boot. Maybe you could start with her original song where she took inspiration from the feel of the Bond themes. It’s called Shield and here’s a clip where she performs it live on a TV show: ua-cam.com/video/lQtUbVKb0vs/v-deo.html
I think this is Billie's best performance of this song. The emotion, the power in the high note, loved it
She definitely nailed this one!
She leaves off part of the ending, though.

Eilish is a beast
Amen to that!
Before her performances, she said she was very nervous.
I believe it's evident during the 2nd verse.
But she still did great.
Wow Great Reaction 😍😍😍😻😻
Thanks Patrick!
I'd love for you to react to FINNEAS solo work. He's got a few recent live performances on his channel.

Vocal folds..."bzrp, bzrp, bzrp." Classic.
