Great guide. just did it myself. The adds will disappear if you stun them no need to kill them. I killed the elite solo as a heal takes a long time but possible with enough heal.

Got the mount today . As i was alrdy lucky to find a few shards on different chars . I still had a long way to go 15 left to find . Since i don't have the patience to wait for them to drop i went to check AH . I bought them at 3.5 k a piece . 45 k for a mount sounds good to me . Gl to all of you who still need to get this one .

hey Madseason, love the vids. do you remember the hunter vs world videos by dysphora? he soloed a lot of high level content at lvl 60, usually by using unconventional gear, like +magic or +healing ...something that wouldnt be possible today. and his music was great.

It's just the old BiSish gear set for dps warriors back in the day before AQ40. I always thought it was quite ridiculous looking, but quite unique as well. Been rocking it as a transmog for as long as I can remember!(Cata I guess)
I guess he mentioned in one of his videos (probably, it was fist episodes of WoW Memories, i suppose) that is how BiS warrior gear looked back in Vanilla, so he tmogged in. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll be trying to keep an even mix between current and classic type stuff if I can. Sorry to hear you didn't like BfA! I'm enjoying it so far, although I can see where a lot of the frustration is coming from - lots of poor planning on Blizzard's part.

The only way to stay competitive is to grind WQ’s all day and do your Champions of Azeroth going, and Expedition grind. Which by the way the feel terrible.
Legion had a very natural way of rewarding you Artifact Power and kept you excited to spend it on traits you loved.
BFA rewards you with 1% AP for pretty much everything (dungeons, raids, Mythic, pvp) and 99% from WQ’s which feels absolutely horrible.
Azerite Traits are toned down, boring and horrible passives that make no sense and are a mess to get the right ones.
Don’t get me started on how NOT alt friendly this xpac is.
Bfa feels like a legion patch and you don't need to grind to keep up with other raiders I haven't touched a wq in 2 weeks and I'm still topping my raids dps and parsing well
I think you are right, and I remember the overwhelming joy of getting a purple in vanilla! It doesn't feel rewarding at all now. And yes, island expeditions is extremely boring.
Justin Thomas I should have rephrased then. I don’t mean to stay competitive, you can still compete without touching WQ’s. But I obsess about being the best and if you want the max iLevel from your HoA, you must do every and ALL WQ’s to stay on top. Not fun at all and will damage your mental health.
But can you have more then 20? like whenever i found these 20x items, will i be able to keep farming them?
Still on 0 fragments after over month. And it is just old god mobs that drop it.
I only got 1 self found myself from 110-120. Unless you're straight up grinding it'll probably take a loooong time

How do people figure out these secrets? Do they mine clues from the WoW program files? Or are Blizzard employees cluing in certain people? I find it hard to believe they just stumble across the solution to the puzzles.

A lot of it comes from data mining, but a lot of it also comes from... check this... exploring the game. When you're not holding Blizzards hand throughout the story quests and confined to these 2 islands where end game takes place in, there's an entire World.... of Warcraft to explore. When you're not doing the same 5 M+ dungeons or wiping for the 4th time in your raid group, there's tons of older content to explore.
It's crazy how every expansion Blizzard tends to ignore every aspect of their older worlds. That's why I'm happy they're adding these "secret quests" to get you back into the rest of the world. I still go back to Grizzly Hills once a week 'cause that's my favorite zone with my favorite music. Of course it's easy as a mage ^^

@@Iulzek TBH, it's been like that in Vanilla as well, except it wasn't pointless since it wasn't RNG based. I stopped playing BFA in BFA and started exploring the rest of the world of warcraft once again, filling me up with nostalgia, actually reading and doing old quests. It makes me appreciate WoW so much more and hate BFA so much more xD

So now we have 2 secret mounts with the same model. I love secret mounts but that model doesn’t really look that great, plus it’s not even secret mount exclusive

I'd say it's more similar to Legion than WoD
WoDs 6.1 was a Selfie Camera. BFAs 8.1 is going to be two raids, new storyline content and additional islands as well as mechanical changes to them.

Legion was good though? Every xpac has its flaws, and legion had its own but overall the xpac was good.
