A fella can drive a 4x4 around to the top to within a couple hundred yards from the mines. I think there is still part of one tram tower standing. Lots of interesting sites within a few miles of there. Keep up the good work.
Yes Joe, that's the remains of the old Argentina mill. Way up the canyon, almost on the ridge, is the old Goodsprings mine. I would imagine that ore from that mine made it's way down to the mill. There are lots of interesting places and things out in that general area.
I've been in Las Vegas for 40 years, but really haven't explored this area, does seem to be alot to see out there ! / I will do some research and head back for other ruins !
If I recall correctly, it's the processing area for the old Argentina mine. It's been awhile since I was last out there. Can't do it now with my sedan though. Darn it. Lol

Looks like a old mine location. The small cave with the wood frame was for dynamite storage..
That makes sense, I'll be you are correct !
The site is the remains of a mill. The small room in the hill was storage for explosives.
Thanks ! / we just happened onto this spot, so definitely curious as to what it was.
