Wow what a trip. I grew up in the Crafton - Ingram area west of Pittsburgh, and we had those style trolleys in service back in the 1960s. I remember having to be very careful on the bicycle when parallel crossing the streetcar tracks. There was also the "car barn" where PAT serviced these trolleys where Ascension Catholic church is located now. There were some hulks in the very back of the yard there.

These wrecks are kind of spooky. One has to wonder if the captains "went down with the ship". There was a day when each and every one was someone's pride and joy.

did the wreck under the old intake tower fall down or is it still sitting there?

I spent time in Vegas in the 70s and 80s. Don't return because of corporate takeover. Wish the boats could talk. Miss the great mafia hospitality. Now it's a money grab and no payouts. So sad.

Joe my dad has a 2018 Chevy high country Silverado and it has the long box and it fits in a garage that is longer in the back

I live in eastern Canada, have absolutely no skin in the game but selfishly they should leave them. When the lake drops in future, we will see a whole new batch of videos on them. :-)

I agree with Nancy Larson above. Leave them. Everybody loves a mystery.

If I was making the decision, I'd leave the boats....But...I'd fins out the story and put it on a historical marker at each location. People love mystery.

Just some FYI on the low flow you mentioned. Based on time of posting last year. The water is lowered every year as part of the endangered humpback chub spawning season. Sometime around the end of Sept the water level is lowered and then around the end of October it is raised back up. So while yes, more water stays in Mead its something that is done every year.

Has anyone been back to this boat since summer 2022? Someone should...probably nothing left. Where is it located?--looks like it's on Arizona side just down from Callville bay (toward hoover)??

Pretty cool; Was that first boat burned or vandalized to point of crumbling? And the boner boat as I call it, looks like the water has gone up at least a foot from a previous video I saw from few days ago. Bummer that by end of this summer, it’ll go down again but hopefully not quite as much as last year.

The boat in your video is not a observation boat that is actually called a troop carrier to be exact or AK landing craft that’s why it has a deck on it comes down that’s were loading and unloading

I lived in Las Vegas 17 years, and those memories are overwhelming happiness, best People, Times, and Positive. I traveled routinely with my job, it was always a pleasure to fly back in, to Do Nevada, and be home. In reality, any Lake that dropped the % Lake Mead has would reveal Cars, Boats, Motorcycles, guns, countless Safes/Lock Boxes/Wallets, and sadly Human Remains/Skeletons. Thus, it not because of the connection to the old days. BTW, those Gentleman ran a far more desirable Hotel/Casino Industry, say what you want, but it was exciting and 1st Class, pre Steve Wynne and Corporatists. Hands Down my preference, way more Ethics than Corporatists. Best Thoughts and Wellbeing Las Vegans ... 💖
