One Devour Run - Winged Dyaus Pita Perfect Clear [Buster Blade] - God Eater 3

Dyaus Pita in permanent Winged State.
This thing hits pretty hard.
But like pretty much everything in this game, its fairly easy to stunlock if you target its tail/back legs or break its face. I find stunlock runs boring to watch, so I'm within his granddaddy beard Perfect Guarding things.
I refused to use that MPW Burst Unit and threw on the PGC one that lets you gain Burst from a Perfect Guard. Then set a mini challenge for myself to get through this only using One Devour!
Man. I had a blast recording this!
I really liked learning this guy's attack patterns and also liked admiring that beard. I just wished the fight would have lasted longer.
At 0:57 I thought about standing there and Perfect Guarding his super attack because I spent quite a bit of time learning how to do it. But I wanted to show that you can slip behind him easily and hit him square in the ass and then slip back in front of him for style points.
Looking back, If I blocked that attack, the Just Guards in this vid woulda been crispier than yo momma's bacon on a Saturday morning.
But now we got regular old weekday crispy bacon level Just Guards so I guess its okay.
I probably should have just worn a stock Rank 7 or even a Rank 6 sword. As fun as this was, I wanted to flex my skills just a little bit more. I might run this one again but with a different weapon. Like Scythe or something.
A weak one though, so we can actually get to the best part of the song.
But we will see about that.
I know I use Buster or Heavy Moon a lot and some of you are probably tired of seeing them so I'll try to seal em away for a while after this one.
Now the real question is:

Yep. The game got waaaay easier. I didnt use guard that much because it was slow anyway so I just attacked like a berserker. But now its worth to use it and I dont have to keep my eye on the hp bar all the time.

Well, Dyaus Pita got his new upgrade on GER, which was made after Rage Burst so It's pretty understandable why it didn't have that there.
I wish they made the long blade like the anime or a alternet version of the long blade

This might be late, but I remember there being two versions. One was winged, and the other not. The former had more offensive power, and the latter defensive.
The winged version had a special mission where you fight it one on one in Resurrection.

I love this game to death although it really seems like it wasn’t designed for +30 weapons.
I was finishing off the standard class missions recently (My rank 7 gear is only around +4-10) and good lord the last few were hectic as hell even with allies. I was finishing a few with literally seconds to spare and the quest with Kyubi, Hvrakii and Caligula was merciless.
Amen ra especially was hell to take down but it felt so good to occasionally clutch a victory when everyone but Ricardo has died horribly.
If these videos have taught me anything it’s to keep my gear around the +10 range.

Actually think no + increase is where the sweetspot is. At least for "able to beat but not overwhelm" level.
I think foe proper jigh difficulty you have to go down to Rank 4.
BK Brent You’re probably right about not upgrading, although I’ve not tried using equipment that far below my rank ( 1 rank lower is usually my maximum)
I also play far from optimally (or really that well either) and I love to mess around with my gun. One of my favourite weirder builds is a pseudo Kanon build with the ray gun and scythe.
I’ll probably just horde +1 arcs and maybe keep a beefy tower shield In reserve for amen ra.

Seen videos on God Eater 3 and it’s tempting to get but feel like I’ll get bored, none of my friends play it. I already have to got through that for sao games btw damn nice job on that run 👌🏼
If you find enjoyment in bettering yoursel, you could have fun playing alone. Otherwise you'll probably get bored.
BK Brent yeah I do enjoy grinding for gear/weapons that I never get bored of, to get that satisfaction of grinding for an item after hours is the best feeling ever. Then playing with others is also nice expect when people mod/cheat the game that’s when I lose interest on multiplayer.
SOOOO Satisfying to kill this thing. My old nemesis from the PSP days. You have no idea how difficult this was back in the PSP days. Kept killing me over and over again until I killed it. I was stoked for killing this thing in one session. It's wings are now a decoration over my fire place.

Yeah it's a shame that none of old themes for some of the more well known aragami didn't made a return. I was looking forward to seeing a hd Hannibal with ruthless king playing.

Super Armor... More or less. It lets you not get staggered when eating some incoming attacks but you still take full damage.
How do you get bladestorm amd ignition?

Wow... just wow... I did not bought this game because my CPU is not supported, but just 2 days ago they patched it up... Iam thinking I'll wait for another sale, but seeing this vid, dyaus pita, that background sound... gives me goosebumps and reminds me when that monster gave me a hard time on GE1 years ago. Hi senpai. Is there a 180 reverse cam button or you just face the other direction and press camera reset?
If you tap the lock on button it will center the camera in the direction you are facing. Won't work if locked on.

The Aragami blip on the radar start flashing when its low on HP. The faster it flashes, the closer it is to death.

@@bkbrent Thank you very much for your kind words ~ I mean, I loved the "dark" direction the game went with these "socially unaccepted" AGEs due to their high infection with Bias Factor and I too was a bit disappointed that it all went back to "you-are-our-only-hope-of-humanity-stuff" which made the social stuff way second handed but the graphics are adorable, the battles are smooth and engaging and I still love this game because I'm always happy to see the mimic of a new created character in some situations, even if I know the story already ~
Sure, for some people it isn't the "woah-that-whipped-me-right-down-from-my-chair" kind of game. But it's a wonderful game nonetheless and that's just my personal opinion ~ :D

God damn it... this one Aragami gave me PTSD in GE Burst from the PSP. The PSP version is the hardest one, such a damage sponge. They nerfed it so much in Resurrection and GE2, and it looks to be the same here.

Are you using the MPW unit? And do you have Accel Trigger and Burst Arts maxed along with +30 on your weapon?

A challenge I burden upon myself too ~ I never fought Aragami that efficent in GE2RB because I wanted to play GE3 so badly :D
But in my personal opinion ~ the challenge paid off because I was able to dive into GE3 without any problems with actualization of fighting style or Aragami movements ;)

Everytime you play a BGM from the previous GEs, it makes me realize how disappointing _God Eater 3's_ soundtrack is.
Edit: Ok, after listening to GE3's soundtrack again, I realize it's not disappointing, but rather _different._ Still not as good as the previous GEs.
