My apologies to everyone who felt I intereupted too much.
I'm constantly working on becoming a better conversationalist & I do believe I have gotten better over time.
Thank you for the constructive feedback on how I can improve. You can also help us improve by becoming a paying member.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Doing great work Penuel. Following you from Kansas City in the USA
its very hard to continue with the show, you interrupt too much my brother, give your speakers enough time to express themselves, yho.
day 30 of asking you to get more women on the show Penuel
Which women do you want on the show?
@@cadencendhlovu2492
We are going to cancel you again 😂, you got me frustrated at some point, my entitlement says this is our show
Amazing sit with Bongani Baloyi. As an African who has never been to South Africa, I can say that this guest is on top 3 with Rutendo and Vusi. Its refreshing to hear someone who speaks with no fear but in a soothing way. He clearly knows the things he speaks of. Defintely he should come down for 2 or 3 more episodes. Culture is a topic that should be brought forward more times by those who actually understand it and can lead us. The answers we need are coded within our cultures. Money and development will be a natural consequence of knowing ourselves and our communities.
On another note, I think there is a mistake in thinking that english is the dominant language in South Africa. It will never be because those who control the economy (and therefore power) dont speak english. They speak afrikaner. They have no interest in going your way. It reminds me of Game of Thrones when King Joffrey Baratheon had the power when in fact his grandfather Tywin Lannister had absolute control. Let us not close our eyes to reality my brothers. Asē ✊🏿
come home.
Thank you. I was having a conversation with someone and I said imagine, we are complaining about youth unemployment in SA and a young person goes through a vacancy posted on a job board website right and they have all the essential requirements and one of the MUST HAVE requirement is "CANDIDATE MUST BE FLUENT IN AFRIKAANS". If one did not go to Hoer Skool somewhere, automatically they do not qualify for the job. Weeee this country.
@@RegaliaByNomahlubi Black South Africans are the largest consumer base, any company or organisation that doesn't cater to Black people cannot thrive. Based on these, Black people need to be more astute and intentional about where they spend their rands! Black people should swerve any company whose employment numbers don't reflect the population i.e any company which doesn't have majority Black staff at every level should be boycotted. Simples. However, Black folk don't like to strategize or make sacrifices, yet people wonder why it took so long for Apartheid to fall.
To excell in economics you have to be anle to speak english. The few rich Afrikaners (theyre not Boers) are small fry compared to the people in London and NY who really control the money. If you cannot speak english, you lose out.
Festive Season is upon us!!! Please indulge responsibly at all times. Do not drink & drive. Don't go home with strangers. Watch your phone. Don't over-spend. Be responsible for your friends. Check up on family. Let's have good, clean fun!
THE PENUEL SHOW is nothing without our viewers, subscribers &, most importantly, our paying members ❤❤❤
Xo pen
Lol, depopulation is important penuel. People need jobs
They have snatched my phone already, please be on the lookout especially when jogging during the day.
Bro why you don't let your guests to finish their statements???
@siphiwenje9905 Really sorry to hear about this.
Such African fluency. Thank you
It's interesting that Bongani mentioned DA members said services shouldn't be provisioned to Scelo residents because they don't pay taxes, that is the exact principle that the NP applied to black South Africans during Apartheid. The DA essentially wanted to apply an Apartheid principle in democratic South Africa. Vote wisely folks.

Thank you so much for the platform Penuel, I really appreciate the opportunity and space to have such conversation. Thank you all for the kind works in the comments, your feedback is highly valued.
Bongani Baloyi
Thank you so much for views..

Very important to give your children access, exposure, resources, experiences and a certain level of life while they’re still young. It will shape their thinking and how they view life. Most of the time we all just products of our environments.. great conversation gents👊🏽❤
Personally I like the mini conversations oba nawo nama guest akho bhuti Penuel uma ingxoxo ingaka qali ngokusemuthethweni, ngiwabona eyi-ice breaker enhle futhi asinikeza i-idea of ukuthi amaVibes anjani emvakwama khethini lapho kwi-Penuel Show. Ngicela ningawa susi
Penuel you are turning your strength into your weakness, you want Bongani to narrate his story in a way that you want.
I love this man. He speaks my language. He speaks what I know. He said something that transcends all Nguni tribes. Ndiyindoda ephelele. I can't explain that but the meaning is deep.
Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers 🎉 been praying for this sit down
Damn I like Gayton Mckenzie of the Patriotic Alliance I like how he is for South Africans & always puts South Africa first in his conversations, but this guy men stole my heart he speaks to me I wish he can grow👏🏿
What a refreshing take on life, it's not just families that tend to be extractive but people in general.
36:20 Be kinder when women make mistakes, then
Bigups Pen for bringing Bongani. I've enjoyed this session and now I better understand why he left DA & ASA.
Imagine a political party that brings back all Native South African languages under one roof and have a constitution yakwaNTU... cause currently the constitution is out of touch with the Values Zomuntu ontsundu only this guy has spoken about this and it made me realize that no not all is lost theres still hope ❤
😭😭😭 Thank You one millions times Penuel for having this sit-down with Bongani Baloyi. A lot of the stuff he touched on with regards to Family and Tradition (Usiko) I relate. I have a lot of family issues I don''t know even know where to start, but this conversation gave me a little bit of enlightenment.
Mr Mlotshwa---- THIS IS SUCH A RICH EPISODE
1. THE DYNAMICS IN A BLACK FAMILY
2. BELONGING IN A BLACK FAMILY
3. THE ROLE OF THE FIRSTBORN
YERRRRRRRRRRRRR🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 IN A TRANSITIONAL ERA AS A MILLENIAL THAT IS PURE GOLD
Another guest that i never heard of before but i have gained respect for him because of how informative he is about his career which seems to be rare to our new leaders.
This interview helped Bongani Baloyi. Now i like his mind and i so wish his party lives long.
Ahhhh man, there were so many points were learnings were lost because the guest couldn't finish their thought. I know that the "please don't interrupt guests" topic is probably redundant for you at this stage but can we suggest other mechanisms.
So when a guest is busy with a thought, perhaps have a Pen & Paper on hand or iPad etc, where you can scribble a few words to remind you of a point to get back to.
With that said, we appreciate your conversational style of the podcast. You are doing good work.
Baloyi stand your ground. You sound refreshing
Thank you for having this guy. I learnt a lot
I donated my cents to ActionSA when this guy was there.. i want my money back..lol..i don't believe with his religious beliefs but i genuinely love his political beliefs.. strongly wish young South African in and out of the country consider xiluva as an option
Wow this has been bubbling under for be been hearing about Bhuti Bongani, as a guy who was a mayor of Vaal side the work they where where doing. How things where functioning in the wards he was leading. This brother has been able to show us that we need to serve and how serving actually serves our own lives. Let the right minds combine so we can win together. With the brothers that are coming to this show we actually have a cabinet yazi🤔🤔
Thanks Black Pen
this is most informative conversation I've watched on the Penuel's show.....big up Penuel I hope Bongani will come back again.
I thoroughly enjoyed these insights. Thanks for hosting this man Pen.
I think I am in love (no homo) with the way Bra Pen conversates with his guests, very monate. This episode, the Maliwien guy that speaks like a president and Rutendo's episodes for me, have been the best I have ever come across mo Penuel. As a suggesstion @GodPenuel, can we have a series where we take ancient economic, societal and political systems of the BaNtu (especially here at home) and try to reconstruct them and see where we would be under these systems and how we can build them now? As a suggestion, we can feature Rutendo, Bongani Baloyi, Ntate Maphonga, Thau Thau Haramanuba, ModimoPenuel and Ntate ZuluMmathabo Zulu. The core focus is to end up with an economic, social and political system we can start to implement with Botho/Ubuntu at the center of it.
@katlegomohajane How come no woman made your list?
For some of us, we can't even understand our ancestors because they communicate using our indigenous languages. Learn your language in-depth and you will receive greater guidance. Do not think in your head using English and you will think constructive thoughts. Learn emotions & what they are called in your language and you will feel better ❤
@Penuel Let the guest speak!!!! Haibo if you did an analysis of the amount of time you spoke versus his, yours will be higher. Just ask and let them answer
Beautiful show Penuel and thank you for such important discussions you're bringing to us
Thank you for having Bongani on your show.
Give this guy a strong military, give him the platform, fund his party, with his values South Africa can thrive. I don't mind him as a dictator even. Yoh ngiyadlala😂
Look his party should target Limpopo, Mpumalanga, I know of a red and black party that would lose supporters if his party gains momentum. This for me... given the right PR campaigns (and safety ngoba heyi abaholi benu... yerrr!) this party has the most potential than any other I've seen in the future.
I LOVED Bongani Baloyi speaking in Vanac
This man with Vuyo Zungula would be great for the country.. but we as mzansi love these populists 😢
Thank you gentlemen for such a beautiful conversation,it is mind provocative I must tell you. A lot of important points to digest
The situation around him leaving ActionSA now makes sense, since he spoke of his family's affiliation with the ANC.
Great, comprehensive episode. Thoroughly enjoyed it, we need more minds like this.
The issue of language men I believe in bantu people creativity they can always come up with a new language that incorporates all bathu/bantu/banu native languages excluding isingesi nesbhulu....like eNtabeni kunolwimi lakhona that's different from ulwimi oluthethwa emakhaya, there was even a language called isdubada formed by Xhosa's there's iscamtho elokishini like guys don't you think abantu abantsundu are creative enough to create another new language ? Instead of wanting to impose isZulu singaba yini ukuxinwa amaZulu😂singahlezi sikhunjuzwa njalo😂
This is a timeless episode ❤ thank you gentlemen.
Great interview, very informative 👌🏾🧡
Dr Uma and Vusi’s episodes both on 972K, let’s see who hit a million first
Wow, what a refreshing conversation.
I really love the The Penuel Show!!!
This is one of the most important episode. I wish this specific episode would air on tv just for those who don't have access to youtube to see and take in the knowledge shared here. Thanks for this one!!!🙏🏾
There's a lot to take from this episode. I like what the guest had to say about Language and Culture.
Thanks to The Penuel Show for bringing Bongani Baloyi. 🤝🏽
Cultural revolution is a must
Keep all our languages & cultures, imho, but we can all speak English when conducting business locally & internationally. So one can take your mother tongue as 1 of 2 languages (2nd being English) at school, but all other subjects maybe taught in English. Another option is for schools to make 3 languages compulsory 1) Mother tongue, 2) English & 3) an extra African language either Nguni or Sotho based.
The ubuntu principle mentioned was profound and should counter corruption, although communities will lobby for themselves as local communities as apposed to individuals, which is also open to abuse by local majorities, but better than enriching individuals only. Your guest is a very wise man, I can see he is a genuine person that understands SA exceptionally well. Just also, if Helen Zille is racist, what is Malema & EFF are they not racist too, just on the opposite side? I wish for your guest, Bongani Baloyi, to reach the very top leadership in SA.
Maturity and taking up responsibility becomes necessary when the background is unstable financially,
South Africa is a great nation failed by leaders 🇿🇦
hey pen I don't know if you noticed but what MR baloyi said in the first 20 minutes about languages, is exactly what DR Umar said in the first 10 minutes of his interview with you. powerful realization. 💪💪🤟🤟
The Penuel Show is helping me become better everyday.
How do I become a paying member. I'm from Zambia
Please invite more small party leaders so we know what is out there to vote for except the big 3
Please add subtitles to this episode. It's too good. 💪
Black people all around the world must have a meeting, because we are really lost as a people and there is no way this must continue any longer. We must do better as Africans.
this should've been done immediately post 94
Dankie, for an amazing conversation 👏🏾
Very satisfying conversation. The table sound is uncomfortable.
We are ready
Dating a Zulu man is an extreme sport you need to be prepared
Exactly. I've dated whote, Zulu and Colored men. Zulu men, yo😢. At least white men know that they can't play around while they are IN South Africa. Make sure that you project your culture onto him, not adopt the white culture or value system.
On the subject of languages I believe that the only reason English and Afrikaans are used is because we learn them at school. You can't ask someone why they don't speak a language if you don't teach it of it's not a mother tongue. I'll be happy if we start teaching at least one "African" language in school and use that locally and only use English for international communication.
I agree with you on this. I come from a mixed background, my mother is Tswana and my father is Turkish. I grew up in the Freestate and the only reason I can speak some Sotho is because of the people around I grew up with. But it was not taught in schools. English being my father’s second language and my mother’s second language was the language used at home. If I could I would have loved learning Zulu but where does one start?
Eh Turkish-Tswana 😮
@@mymzansi_rsaNever seen such a mix before.
@blacksands93 There are books online and courses.
But genrally, the best way to learn is to speak the people who speak Zulu as their first language.
@@FictionHubZA would be dope if you could share some links here and I’ll check them out. I work in Europe now but still willing to learn since travel back every year
Bongani was a star during his Midvaal days, could have done better with the Scelo protests... I feel he could have done better at Action SA than to bail out, either way our politics are yearning for these young vibrant minds
Next sit down please let him speak and less talking from you God Pen. .. His captivating and clear..
i love inkani ka ma ka bongani.
Great interview Pen
5:20-Babeeeeeee....Zulu IS ALSO COLONISER'S LANGUAGE!!! Have u forgotten??!?!??
Shut up. It's authentic African and the most spoken language. Africans are better off speaking it than anything else. Xhosa is too hard because of click sounds
Wow I learnt a lot....great content guys
I think i might have found who im voting for🤔
I was previously critical of Bongani Baloyi and HIM leaving Action SA ! Now I understand WHY - Herman Mashaba arrogantly mistakes running a political party to his business , whereby he has has the final say , understandably that is his background and how private businesses are run .But NOT in POLITICS - This territory is guided by policy and consensus . Some of Mashaba 's public pronouncements like on BEE, BRICS ,etc are problematic and reflect badly on the Party . Benefit of a doubt ! But him refusing to be challenged on this ( in private btw) by his colleagues in the party is WORRYING and a BIG RED FLAG ! It reminds also of a certain politician egomaniac who wears a a RED overall in parliament ! Thanks Penuel for giving BB the platform to tell his side of the story !
I am kind of worried how black people are just opening political parties like releasing music albums 😢
@@terencemolekoa5501True lol 😅
I noticed this as well.
Good show..very informative.
Next in line😅

Very nice episode but I think the volume was too low, had to turn it up more than usual just to hear the conversation. Great episode overall.
THANKS SO MUCH GUYS
Umlwanjwana Pen....
lovely.
Sbonge 🙌🏾
Top Episodes:
1. Dr Umar Johnson
2. Vusi Thembekwayo
3. Duduzane Zuma
4. …..?
Great
Great conversation, Penuel...it would be nice if you ask a question and give space to the guests to put his thoughts without much interruption.
Ofcourse, I get that you must ensure that you carry your audience with you throughout the conversation but in some instances, trust that we will get it and not necessarily need translation because that, it seems, distributed most of your guests trail of thoughts
How do you decide Nguni is more superior than Sepedi & Setswana? As much as Zulu encompasses Xhosa and Swati but Setswana encompasses Sepedi and Sesotho so how do you decide Zulu over Setswana is what should be spoken ?
I think we should just combine Nguni into one language and Sotho into one language. So we have just 6 overall. Including English, Afrikaans and Tsonga plus Venda.
It's not superiority it's numbers. Even if you add all Sotho languages, the numbers are still in favour of Nguni. I don't agree with Penuel, I'm just responding to your comment.
Bizarre that bongani wants to challenge other parties, mara does'nt allow challenges in his party
Bro please bring this guy again.
Ask a question then let him speak please. There's more than 7 topics where he was making a point, you disrupted him and he didnt go back to it
Sbonge lapho mfoka Mlotshwa🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Kushukuthi ikhona ifuture beyond anc rule...
The sound is very low .even increased all possible volume d
MMUSI JOHANNES WE ON!!!
Not emotions but senses Dakhaminzwa numbs your senses or kills your senses
My opinion. His party is not gonna go anywhere. It's tribal. Politics should not be tribal. It's in the name of the party. The IFP has tried to grow beyond KZN but failed because they failed to establish themselves independently of the Zulu nation.
11:10-Bongani, South Africa started in 19:10!!
4:33 there is nothing wrong with South Africa’s cultures. The citizens are fine. We all get alone fine. We work together, we celebrate together and we work together. Only thing holding this country back is the racist politicians who’s been using race to remain in power to plunder. ANC & EFF comes to mind.
After watching this conversation, I'm certainly conflicted as to who will I vote. I initially told myself that I would vote for Gayton as he seems like a decisive leader and he has actual proof of the things he has done as a mayor/leader and doesn't base things on "if I lead I would....". Bongani Baloyi is somewhat that I relate with in terms of his ideals and how as a people kufuneke sibuyele embo and in a perfect I would love this type of leader but truth be told, I don't see many following suit because of how westernized we are and we seemingly strive for individualism which doesn't speak to Ubuntu.
Due to this, I'm left wondering if I should vote for a man that will taint the shield of the ANC or a man that supports my ideals, it's just a pity that Baloyi is looking for people that have done things in the political spheres because I would love to join his party as an active member on the ground ndenzo utshintsho noba luncinci kanjani.
GEK leader mkhulu Nsingiza always says this ukuba this supposed to lead by Amakhosi(Kingdom)
Penuel please stop being a dj vld let your guest finish their points so we can get the point of view you asked your guest.
Eita Pen. Please try to keep your sound consistent. Other episodes it's normal and like this one it's too low
Please decide which language you want to do this show in and stick to that one.
The problem with Africans is they were colonized in the mind to the extend that we forget before the English came all Africans used to trade with other nationalities like the Arabs, Indians and the Dutch. What language was being used. There is clear indication that African are good thinkers but this was taken away from us.
Bongani is music.... Penuel's thoughts are not structured. He speaks about building family unity and redicules those who are driving "Pan-Africanism" and "Economic Freedom". He has ambivalent logic
Maybe you guys can mic the show differently. The banging on the table is distracting sometimes because the mic is on the table. Great show in general.
Mr Baloyi say's Zulu men are the "woolies "of men, kak funny!!🤣 I'm loving this conversation.. Nice one Pen🖤👊
He said Tsonga men not Zulu men
Tsonga*
