Dont get me wrong, the "No Damage, GMGOW" vids are insanely good - but there's something equally great about a vid where Kratos also takes a few hits. He's a tank, but part of being a tank is taking a few in the chin and fighting on. It's more visceral. Especially to this song.
I agree A no damage video is always good especially if you're doing an OHKO run but in reality Kratos does take hits from enemies someone who doesn't get hit in the gameplay is extremely good respectfully but it kind of ruins the name God of War for me. God of war is about getting hit and hitting the enemies harder regardless of difficulty except when on God mode otherwise easy, normal and Hard make it more fun and challenging. I always play the Greek games on Spartan Hard as it's a decent challenge for me I'm able to Free play by mixing up combos and magic without dying to much like one would have to in God mode where it's always those cheese moves to avoid dying instead of trying any of the fun combos you unlock for a reason. As for the norse games I always play them on The easiest mode possible which I know sounds cowardice but The higher the difficulty the stronger one has to be with their power levels and have very specific equipment. Where as on easy mode I'm allowed to mix up my armour's and stats as well as perks and try different things whenever I like without getting killed often and allow me to divide where and when I want to explore without the area being a too high power level. As well it allows me to fight the Valkyries and Berserkers as well a Sigrin Gná and Hrölff with what I want to even if they have a Purple or Red health bar they still take a while to kill you on easy if they have the highest power but I can still fight them whenever I feel like it instead of having to finish 90% of the game where I'm strong enough basically then beating them and using their rewards such as Skofnung or Freya's Queen roar runic for 5 minutes before you get 100% leaving nothing to use it for except new game + which I almost never play as it gives the type of gameplay of being too powerful and sweeping the floor with bosses in seconds basically ruining the fight. The longer the fight the more fun it is to me. And I play Valhalla on the easiest one too given that it has no checkpoint in only in between attempts unless you suspend the game at a Glyph tablet but then dying restes all your progress which I get it's part of being a rogue like game. Anyways on easy I'm able to do the same thing with mixed combos and I'm able to do all 15 Valhalla chosen slain in Greece on Red health bars without dying too easily as well and I can simply just have a good time.
It would be nostalgic but super lazy to reuse the old sound track. Even if they remixed it,it still wouldn’t fit the fights. This theme is supposed to represent Kratos vs Zeus as the final boss of the Greek trilogy,the guy you’ve wanted to kill since the 2nd game. I would like it but it would just feel sort like a tasteless reference. Still respect your opinion though.
Cause ✨Elden ring✨ clearly didn’t deserve deserve it at all especially with how boring the game is after doing literally everything, no reason to replay it at all
