Malcolm Young.........absolute legend!! What he did for Bon Scott's family upon Bon's death was such a selfless and honorable thing to do. It would have been very hard on Malcolm knowing that he only had hours to call Bon's family before the news got to Australia......how sad and tragic, especially for Bon not seeing the fruits of his labor after so many years on the road!
Hoplite Warlord Bon just drank far too much is such a pity. Really missed his incredible presence and stage antics. Brian deserves all the credit he's an entirely different singer. Really love both equally.

I got a big scar on my forehead from flipping a 72 pinto in 1985 turning the radio up when Hells Bells came on.And I still turn it up at 54 minus the alcohol while driving...That album was when I first herd them and played the 8 track over and over,cannot remember the 2 concerts (little rock and okc)or years..
My dad planted the seed when I was very young. I'm not 30. I lost my dad when I was 15. He would be proud that I'm sat watching anything I can acdc related. Wow what a band. Fingers crossed for 1 more UK tour. Might just get to see them.
Bon was simply incomparable as a performer. His mannerisms his wit. He never needed to put on a stage Bon, unlike others who change personas when they are performing or in interviews. Even Angus - who turns into a beast onstage is quite a quiet gentleman in everyday life.

I believe I left part of my eardrums at that venue. They were there with TightSqueeze, Todd Rundgren, Pat Traverse, Charlie Daniels and Grinder Switch.
I never got to see them with Bon, I saw them on the Back in Black tour at the Toledo Speedway Jam the year the album came out and it was of course with Brian. I wish I had gotten to see them with Bon. These guy's were all great guy's and seem like they were really down to earth people in the interview's I've seen of them. I have a friend who is a waitress and she served them one night at her restaurant and they were super cool she said and they all took pictures with her and the staff and the whole restaurant was all happy that the band was eating with them and the staff locked the door's so no one else could come in. RIP BON and MALCOLM you guy's made life better for everyone.

They rocked out big time. Soon after I started hearing them on the radio. I recognized their sound easily. I don't remember anyone talking about the name "Highway to Hell" being a controversial name, or people saying they were Satan worshipers. I just remember that album was getting so much radio play starting September 1979. No body that I knew ever heard of them before that summer. Angus Young is one of the best rock guitar players ever. The way he can bend notes and add the vibrato is like no other player I have ever heard. A few months later Bon Scott died and I couldn'y believe it. I never really like the Brian Johnson singing. Angus just kept getting better. His Playing on the album "Back in Black" was some of his best stuff, in my opinion. After that album they started going down hill. The creative well runs dry eventually. The songs were as good as their earlier material.
