They already were one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Don't want to blame Brian Johnson and I am not sure if Bon wouldn't just have lost the nerve and voice, but it was a 70's band in all aspects and thats when they were best!
After Bons death the band gave 10% of all there record sales to his mother until she was reunited with Bon....That's loyalty and respect in highest of high....When your a true musician like me and ACDC you have no choice but to carry on playing. When it's in your DNA you can't stop......Only the other side of life can stop it. But I always wondered how Back in Black would have sounded with Bon singing all the songs on it. Cause Angus and Malcolm had the chords and songs mostly done for back in black already down on paper.....

I first picked up a guitar in 1968.... All my life all I wanted to be was a professional musician. As in many cases mine turned out to be another direction. I became a nurse in 2004... The reason I mention this in the comment section is the incredible professional demeanor and honesty of the members in this band... In all these years as a nurse I've never once encountered this kind of professionalism in my peers, and mid to upper-level providers. The one thing you can say about musicians who truly love their craft, understand that music is about the sum of all parts... Brought together. It's just a damn shame that Health Care can't replicate what this band has done.

Growing up in a country music home I remember as a teenager going out to the car and listening to the radio because mom would not let me even turn the country music up like teenagers like it. I was listening to country but thought I would just check out this station the kids were talking about at school. "Back in Black" was playing and I was a fan from that moment on.
I am blessed to say I’ve seen the band four times in my hometown Sydney. Angus’s energy and talent was worth every cent paid and I couldn’t take my eyes off him.
My dad was a big AC/DC fan, he first saw them at his university O-week in Melbourne. I grew up listening to this band and when I was 12 my dad took me to see them live for the first and only time, it was his 23rd time. It was in a packed stadium in Melbourne, Wolfmother were opening. As we were walking back to the train he asked me: what was the best song you saw tonight? I said 'Wolfmother - Joker and the Thief' I still haven't recovered from that beating to this very day.
They had the music and Bon was going to write the lyrics. They really hauled ass on the new album, with a new singer, and it was fookin brilliant. Bon's mum, wanting them to go on.... amazing lady!
They were not back on the scene at all. They had 2 months of mourning then began plans at the very end of April to start recording Back in Black which was released on the 25th of July. Why make a joke of them???

This might be a little unpopular, but I've always loved the idea of Alan Fryer taking over from Bon. Rumor has it that he was actually hired in Australia when Angus hired Brian in Britain. I can't imagine the guy's disappointment when they came to him saying, "sorry, we hired someone else." No one can argue with Brian's success, but Fryer was a perfect Bon-style singer. When Alan died two years ago (or so), the main thing mentioned in his obituary was that he "almost" was the singer for AC/DC after Bon Scott. RIP to them all, Malcom, Alan and Bon.
The boys specifically said they did NOT want a Bon sounding replacement! That is exactly why they said no to some artists who auditioned or were mentioned.
It is amazing that they survived the death of their frontman and close friend. Touring bandmates become incredibly close. My son's band did not survive.
Don't bother looking for part 4 of this interesting documentary. Obviously due to a copyright claim of Sony, it had to be removed as probably a lot more content in the future will be. Thanks to Sony for spitting on the coffin of one of the greatest rock bands in the history of mankind. There will never be another voice like Bonn Scott’s, I wouldn’t even listen to Brian as front man for 10 years after Bonn died. I eventually came around but it was difficult as I was a fan from the very beginning, listening to bootleg tapes here in the U.S.

Scott es célebre por haber sido el segundo vocalista de la banda de hard rock AC/DC desde 1974 hasta su muerte en el año 1980, sustituyendo a Dave Evans, quien solo participó en dos sencillos de la banda, por lo que muchos consideran a Bon como el cantante original, ya que fue él quien participó en la primera discografía de AC/DC. Después de su muerte, los miembros de la banda eligieron a Brian Johnson para que reemplazara a Bon. Fue introducido en el Salón de la Fama del rock and roll junto a los miembros actuales de AC/DC en el año 2003.
