  • Hello Guys! The work of injectors and the entire injection system is increasingly important and advanced! All this in favor of lower emission of polluting gases.
With the age of the components, wear and modification of the power stroke event alters and with that there would be if there was no injection correction an emission of polluting gases much higher than that established when homologating such common rail diesel injection systems.

I have jeep renegade it uses fiat JTDm 2.0 engine. My correetions on some injectors are 5!!! and car runs fine. i even checked injector that was the wors and BOSCH diagnostics showed injector passes all the tests.. so usually people think oh the injector is bad-but it's not always the case. Also it was properly coded into ecu so coding is ok too.
And i had 159 alfa with perfect corrections around 0.1 (at idle, in load zeros), that have many non working hidraulic filters, rocker arms damaged... and still compensation was perfect... :)

Hello. Yes, sometimes it's other things, like dirty valves, clogged intake and more.

So if it reads say +0.75 it could mean that the compression on that cylinder is a bit low. But can it also mean that injector is a bit clogged up? Because can it actually get clogged up, since there is so much pressure going through it?
But if it reads -0.75 it means that the injector is leaking (is worn out)?

@@alfaromeonoproblem I know it means that torque is too big and ecu injects less fuel but why this happens?

Very good video. Thanks . I changed my injector o rings and now it won’t start because of air in system . Any idea of how to purge the air? Thanks

Hello. What car is it? If it is MultiJet or jtd you just have to cycle the ignition 3 or 4 times for about 15 seconds

@@alfaromeonoproblem it’s a 159 jtdm so common rail . It was working fine before the injectors came out but I just can’t cycle the air out. I must have cycled the short bursts of ignition 100 times, and also while the lines have been cracked open. I can’t have ruined all four injectors could I ? Thanks !

Are you sure the hard lines are ok? No leaks? Any conector from the rail or the fuel pump?

    Hello!
I’ve watched many of your videos and you brought up the issue with relay wiring one time - could you please also take a look at this? Alfa 156 cold electrical issue

If you can, please look to the description as well, as I’ve gone in detail on what’s happening.
    Many thanks in advance

Hello. Took a look at the video and to the description. Ok, o agree that you may have a bad contact somewhere. On the 156 here in Portugal (climate affects different in different countries) the relays and pins on the relay holders near the battery are the issue for different problems. In your case ider that and/or the relay box is bad. I assume you have slat on the roads, so corrosion on grounds may be a concern as well. Not here in Portugal.
