An oldie, but a goldie . . . Looking at some of these older videos I see a lot of names that I don't see on current ShackTac videos. I would have thought that you guys didn't have that much of a turn-around.
Well, I don't want to wish an involuntary departure from ShackTac on anyone, but : ] let's just say that I wish I had joined when it wasn't like hoping to win the lottery to get in. In the meantime, watching ShackTac videos is my number one source of entertainment. Enjoy.
Kilroy/Shack Tactical, as an airsofter, historical reenactor, gamer and International Affairs major, you really make me miss the hardcore gaming rig I abandoned two years ago. I miss Arma 2 SO MUCH and wish I could play with you guys.
Wow! I came here because I enjoyed your "The Days Ahead" videos, but now after I watched this, I'm totally hyped. Those were the most thrilling 21 minutes I watched recently, even with some somehow hilarious parts in it. Good job, even though you lost them, and I'd really enjoy to see you in command again!
Kilroy's voice is so happy, enthusiastic and full of life at the first few minutes of the video. His voice becomes extremely depressed and defeated by the end.
Thank you for clearing it up, and you guys seem to have 1) the most fun and 2) the highest respect for each one of your members, I've been watching your videos from the very begining. So, hopefully be expecting a new recruit soon(ish).
"That's a flying BRDM." :'D That was the most random thing ever, made me laugh with tears in my eyes! A truly epic video in every other aspect as well. I love the stuff you do, keep up the good work!
I have to say that I'm more interested in seeing the part were you as the ranking officer write to the families, telling them how their sons and husbands came to die.
When arma 2 was at its peak I didn't have a pc to run it nor the patience to play milsim games but god damn what an experience it must have been to play it in its glory days.
Arma2 is the commercial version of VBS2, a simulator designed for the military, and is currently used by US, Australian and Canadian forces. So yes, it's really like that.
I love that "NEVER GIVE UP" attitude. If this is what roleplaying is then i am hooked ffs. Normally in any other game it's just "Oh, we are fucked lets restart mission".
I still love coming back to these old videos. Thanks for showing me what Arma could be Chk.
First time ever watching this video... damn. Holding my breath throughout the whole thing. Just... excellent.

I am genuinely impressed by your skill, composure, and your truthful badassness.
I was literally on the edge on my seat near the end. You sir, are one heck of a soldier!
On another note, I love, love, love you guys' dedication to realism.

You are the perfect blend between expendable, and indestructible that makes you the perfect Arma player.
The way they talk makes it feel so professional.
This has got to be his best one EVER!!!!
Kilroy's voice is so happy, enthusiastic and full of life at the first few minutes of the video.
His voice becomes extremely depressed and defeated by the end.
I was genuinely moved by your survival. Even if you got all your men killed, I salute you.
Thank you for clearing it up, and you guys seem to have 1) the most fun and 2) the highest respect for each one of your members, I've been watching your videos from the very begining. So, hopefully be expecting a new recruit soon(ish).
"LZ is north! Friendlies infantry!" "THOSE ARE NOT FRIENDLY" I don't understand how the pilot kept misunderstanding that.

"That's a flying BRDM." Kilroy, that was THE most casual report of a flying object that shouldn't fly ever.
"Only you survived Mr.Death, Always you survived"
"i don't have any legs and im passing out" "well crawl then" lol
I have to say that I'm more interested in seeing the part were you as the ranking officer write to the families, telling them how their sons and husbands came to die.

"crawler, crawler, you still with me?" LOL

At first i thought the dialogue was scripted for a cutscene or something. I was pleasently surprised.
I hope there are more videos like this.

Evolution of a Commander in a combat environment.
