The lyrical quality of the music matches the metric quality of the sublime lyrics so well, that I believe it would have been difficult for him not to understand the sheer beauty of this song. I suspect that it's closer to a German 'lied' than to any popular song i've encountered.
This is really beautiful and the song itself is a masterpiece but every time I see a choir approach such a song it seems like they don’t feel it. They only pay attention on hitting the right notes at the right time and looking at the maestro for instruction. It’s like watching a group of robots singing.
Beautiful. Thank you so much.
Absolutely beautiful and paced perfectly. very emotional, and the soloist did remarkably well, a glorious voice. Very impressive indeed ......
Such great harmonies and solos...Very well done. My heart is deeply touched. Thank you for sharing your great talents

Never, not once will you see a smile, a smirk. Just a deep warmth that comes rarely.
There are times when a smile is not appropriate or even possible. This is one of those soul wrenching times.
Any man they say can be president but not any man can do this.

Really wonderful, thank you!
Beautiful!!
He has that rarity a voice with a built in harmonic quality.

The solo voice could hold his own on any operatic tenure.
Vero! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
There I none. No bad recording. It can't be done. So sing and study the lyrics. The three will make a grand match.
Did Billy have any idea what he created with this music ?

That guy sounds horrible

I'm sorry for your incomprehension.
It has nothing to do for comprehension: everything to do with my opinion…. I’m a singer and I love that some . I

Perhaps one answer might be for you to immerse yourself and feel it, rather than cerebrally judge the singers.
