I don't see what's so good about it. it is an evolution so it takes a few turns to draw and then it takes one turn to play, so tell me what is so good about it. Its attacks aren't even that good and its ability is kinda bad. There are some pokemon, like grovyle, that can let you search through your deck for a grass pokemon. So, what is so good about it?

I think it's cuz I have no idea how to play this card game, but why does it matter when the opponent cuts the deck anyway? Is it cuz he definitely doesn't want that card again so he puts it in the spot that most likely goes to the middle of the deck after the cut?
That's what cutting is for you chode, doesn't matter what you do, you always have to offer the cut and that stops any shenanigans
@@monke12354 the idea of stacking like that, is to have the card in the right spot so that when your opponent cuts, the card you want should then be on top...or close to the top. So when you draw a new hand or whatever, then you'll get the card you want. Sadly, this happens in all of competitive cars games. Players stack the deck in Magic and in Yu-Gi-Oh. When the top prize is tens of thousands of dollars, you'd do anything to win
I like Robin better as a player, and Jeff loses all respect from me for cheating, but I love Malamar and I wanted it to win.

Jeff was so unbearable to watch throughout the top 8 I'm sorry. I honestly can't believe he made it to the finals.
Feedback: can we get better lighting on the table? Would make for a much better top down view of the action. Also, to make it more interesting for the audience, it would be nice to occasionally zoom in on either player’s side of the action. For example, it would be cool to see a closeup of one player’s area as they are doing something.

the last shuffle he does wasn't a shuffle it was so that when he gives it to his opponent to cut the card they cut pretty much the same card he wanted it a trick some players have learned to cheat

I’m new to Pokémon, but out of all the card games, this is by far the cheapest. You can build a good deck for less than the price of one magic the gathering card.
Its not cheap but it actually depends on your strategy im battle
That is a very slow riffle, and his opponent didn't cut it in the right place anyway, as far as the 30:35 shuffle so it's suspicious shuffling but lazy cheating.

I’m starting to appreciate the Card game more than the Actual Pokémon. Instead of having pets to train and battle, I’d rather stick to the cards and then explore the strategies! It’s very interesting and I get to bypass the Hours Spent with Tedious Training, my opinion. I Love the Strategy in the card games like Pokémon TCG and MTG now!
I love both (Started with Competitive Battling and now playing a lot of retro PTCG). i think both of them have their own unique charms and strategy, and i love how some pokemon that isn't that good competitively in VGC get their spotlight in TCG

Jeff got very lucky getting to the finals he shouldnt have been stuck in his stratigy he should have tried to improvise because there was no way to beat robin with that deck unless he was more open with his deck plays
Can someone tell me how he cheated? I don’t really understand, everyone’s is saying he left the card on top when shuffling, but the other player split the deck???
He kept a card on top when he shuffled, then put a specific amount of cards above that he knew his opponent would cut close to keep the card he wanted on top, then used Bridgette to ensure drawing the card he wanted, making his deck not randomized.

These are some surprising decks. Was it just a bad year in pokemon? These decks have such low power compared to last year. Pretty good announcers, they actually know their stuff- unlike a lot of many other game announcers. And these decks power levels isn't really a problem. Makes it more exciting.. Somewhat. It's not a mirror match. So that's a plus. Cheating? I didn't see any. They just seem nervous. That was a great match.
