Great games! I am happy that someone from my country won the worlds, altough I had a laugh that the comentators kinda gave up on pronouncing "ř" in Ondřej and called him Ondrej instead. 😀
Anyway, I loved those decks. Who could have tought that the flying Pika would end up being so good.

Someone explain to me (haven’t played tcg since GEn 1. How and why did he win with boss’ orders?? Was it because the remaining bench pokemon would’ve gotten stomped since they had no energy?
Because his Arceus VMax does 180 damage (200 - 20 due to turbo energy), Daichi has Crobat V on his bench which has 180HP. Boss Orders is like Gust of Wind in Gen 1, so Andre forced Daichi's Crobat V to come out and One hit KO, taking the last 2 prizes (Knocking out a V/VMax pokemon lets you draw 2 prize cards).

No one thought it was weird that the player on the right touched/tapped the top of their deck after ending their turn 1 during the first game? 😏
I actually noticed a few things the guy on the right did that struck me as sketchy
What's with the random flicking of the cards?
This has been common for years, since the beginning really. Mostly just nervous time passer.
Why they wear headphones?
So they can't hear the crowd yell out what the opponent has in hand.
Or the commentators announcing their opponents hand

How can you guys understand all this card
This stuff is unwatchable unless you play the card game for 10 hours at least. Given that the online tcg LIVE is easy to get into, that's actually not that hard. But yeah you have to read a ton of cards and then play with them to know what's the basics.

Can they just fucking ban Arceus already. They're making a Arceus VSTAR Premium Collection for Lost Origin? Guess the meta can be ruined for a way longer time I guess.
Ruined? Arceus VSTAR is a huge help to decks that are otherwise bad without it.
@@akaiyui9300 no it doesn't. It literally ruins the meta and deck diversity in the format. Arceus vstar/flying pikachu won both worlds and NAIC (1155 players). Those other decks you think are helped by arceus didn't even make top 24. Pokemon tcg would be better without it

They dont ban cards in pokemon tcg. Well just have to wait for it to be rotated out.
@@goldenarmour7975 Hisuan Zoroark is still banned on TCG Live. And I understand why after the computer destroyed me while testinf a deck and it randomly used it as a preset opponent deck. That deck is insane.

The commentary sounds like golf
When daichi uses the Marnie on his first turn he doesn’t draw the top 5 cards rather grabs a top stack counts the bottom 5 cards then puts it back. Ondrej counts from the top after putting his hand on the bottom of his deck. That can’t be legal.
I did numerous playbacks and what I make out is that when he picked the half stack up he took 1-2 cards from the bottom of that stack and the rest of the top I had to slow it down to 0.25 speed but you can see him do it
he did it twice. once on his marnie and on his opponents the following turn

there is literally zero interaction in pokemon tcg, you can just take a nap when your opponent is playing to wait for your turn
