If you stay invested and ignore the market's ups and downs, you'll make a lot of money in the long run; however, a severe market correction causes a lot of margin calls and sell-offs, driving the market even lower. People get greedy in this bull market, and it's extremely irresistible (fear of missing out) to buy more stocks with borrowed money or money they don't have. In the United States, people even bought stocks using their home equity line.

So we are definitely on a right path, even if the results are not to be seen at high level. And contradiction is Recession/Depression hits a service economy way harder than a Manufacturing one.

growth cant be sustained if it is a jobless growth. India's jump from agriculture based economy to service based economy, by partially skipping the manufacturing sector is also one of the reasons of massive income inequality in India. Although service sector adds more to the GDP, but it employs less. Hence, manufacturing is very much required to use the massive Indian workforce.

Hi, could you elaborate how investing in the manufacturing sector is worse in the long term? The service sector is lucrative, that's true but what about increasing the employment and average productivity of the country cause under no circumstances can the service sector absorb the several hundred million semi/unskilled labourers who're currently underemployed in agriculture.
@@TheCuriousCurator-Hindi I did. He talks about how we shouldn't follow the China model as it's bound to fail in a democracy but we shouldn't abandon the manufacturing sector either, instead have a balanced approach. This video comes off as if he criticised the entire push for manufacturing.
@@tge2102 You mention 'balanced approach ' which is an accurate point. But in this video, at no point did Mr. Akshat say that the focus on manufacturing sector should be completely abandoned. The result is skewed economic development which is not beneficial. Again, as you said, 'a balanced approach ' is the necessity here. The video, too, is geared towards that. I think you should invest your money in index mutual funds of nifty or sensex . Don't do it in one go, invest each week or month , as the market may go down from here. If you have knowledge about stocks then surely pickup 8-10 high quality stocks too. You may invest 5% of your money in cryptos since it is a very good time ,most of them are consolidating. Still invest majority chunk in index , you will surely get good returns over long period of time (20 years or more)

That right, I started investing sometime in 2018 and by late 2019, I pulled a profit of over $250,000 with no prior investing knowledge or skill, I was basically just following the guidelines set by the financial advisor I use, so you don't necessarily need to be a perfect investor or do the hardworks, just have a professional guide you.
A great video! But I disagree with everything of what you said the government should do. The recession was CAUSED by printing excessive amount of cash, due to money being available at cheap rates and stimulus checks, lot of cash has flooded the market, which in turn caused inflation(As you pointed out), Secondarily, Money was irrationally deployed, Hedge Funds, PE, VC etc. All of them borrowed money at cheap rates and funded companies and projects that were totally unneccessary, BlackRock purchased land like crazy . All of this wishful spending resulted in an asset price inflation which has now come to rationality as a market crash as everyone is cashing out as the rates are increasing. Government spending will again cause inflation as historically the govt has been the worst capital allocator of all time. The money will leak out through corruption adn overinflated costs of raw materials due to excess demand and limited supply. Govt. spending would also, again, cause recession as our production capabilities can't grow as fast as our spending capabilities. Decrease in Taxes, The best idea. Decrease Taxes forever and let free markets and organic growth do their magic. In conclusion, the best the government can do is to do nothing, except, don't use the printing press and don't increase taxes.

Every asset class must be repriced to reflect a permanently weakened economy, demand pulled forward by ten years, and a Fed that no longer can run a debt-based economy
The FED "has not lost control". The economy is doing exactly what it had planned for it to do. We have to be desperate to accept what they have planned for the WORLD--not just the US
With all that you said, do you have any idea how one can find a sound advisor that may aid or probably give guides on how to stay above these challenges in one's investment?

I disagree with your viewpoint that India should be a Service based nation. With such a huge population and workforce, service based would only limit your growth. Manufacturing would be slow to begin with as infrastructure, skilling would require some time to be developed but eventually you will see the results in long time. So we are definitely on a right path, even if the results are not to be seen at high level. And contradiction is Recession/Depression hits a service economy way harder than a Manufacturing one.
We need to be manufacturing goods having high value of exports.
Semiconductor and EV is the way to go
Won't recession hit manufacturing economies harder as the total requirements for goods and services goes down?
@@PiyushMaurya007 manufacturing is long term , so the production will not be abruptly affected provided the severity of economic slowdown and capital expenditure is managable.
Agreed. India kind of missed out on the industrialisation 3.0 which happened across the world in 80s. We have to catch-up on manufacturing.
With recent wars and sanctions it's imperative.
As long as you are secure in your job and finances, a recession is just a fire sale for assets. Picked up some cheap shares already, looking forward to the future payoff!
Recession as per economic terms is predicted when the GDP growth rate in 2 back to back quarter shows a de-growth, something of this sort has not happened yet. Hence, would request everyone to not be pessimistic on this. Everyone's opinion is respected, but I feel there is light at the end of the tunnel

growth cant be sustained if it is a jobless growth. India's jump from agriculture based economy to service based economy, by partially skipping the manufacturing sector is also one of the reasons of massive income inequality in India. Although service sector adds more to the GDP, but it employs less. Hence, manufacturing is very much required to use the massive Indian workforce.

The issue with exiting the markets is that unless you can identify the minima, your wealth (money or cash) is going to be wiped out from high recessions. Gold should now form 25% to 35% of your portfolio

He merely pointed out that pouring out the majority of the national focus on the manufacturing sector does not leave much for the service sector. The result is skewed economic development which is not beneficial. Again, as you said, 'a balanced approach ' is the necessity here. The video, too, is geared towards that. Thank you for making excellent and informative points though. It enhanced my knowledge base

Akshatji I just started following you and looking to all you current and past video all are very informative, I want your guidance regarding should I start investing in shares and mutual fund in this current situation is it viable cuz I just got spare money recently sold one property so please guide me 🙏
I think you should invest your money in index mutual funds of nifty or sensex . Don't do it in one go, invest each week or month , as the market may go down from here. If you have knowledge about stocks then surely pickup 8-10 high quality stocks too. You may invest 5% of your money in cryptos since it is a very good time ,most of them are consolidating. Still invest majority chunk in index , you will surely get good returns over long period of time (20 years or more)
The correct word is lacunae 😀
The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400,000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
Building a good financial-portfolio has been more complex since covid, so I would recommend you seek professional support. This way you can get strategies designed to address your unique long-term goals and financial dreams.
I totally agree with you regarding the digital transformation that is happening in middle east as I have personally worked on a few projects there 🙂
Idk man. Everyone in IT around me are getting huge hikes
Akshat you are just superb in making things comprehend. 👍👍👍👍
A great video! But I disagree with everything of what you said the government should do.
The recession was CAUSED by printing excessive amount of cash, due to money being available at cheap rates and stimulus checks, lot of cash has flooded the market, which in turn caused inflation(As you pointed out),
Secondarily, Money was irrationally deployed, Hedge Funds, PE, VC etc.
