Major shoutouts to Carter44 for collaborating with me on this! Was quite a different, but refreshing project to put together!
As always you can find the community discord, twitter, and twitch in the description!
Loved working on this, thanks for having me!
Dude, your zapper skills are fucking rad.
What happened to the other 43 carters?

That Toshiba was my first personal television when I was 8. I remember playing Wario World and Sunshine on it while only sitting a couple feet away.
youtube membership, discord community, better audio (good vocals), face reveal showing real props, intermittent dad jokes, and shorter videos? 2022 is looking up for storster :) looking good fam!
Heck yeah! I'm glad all of that is noticed haha!
it only makes sense that a gun released with the American NES.
you should see the light gun for the magnavox odyssey
I like to imagine a bunch of people at Nintendo sitting down and trying to think about how they could appeal to the American market, and someone goes "You know what those Americans love? Guns."
The gun was much more realistic in the japanese market lol
Man now I have to do some of these speedruns I own most of the games mentioned here!
I tried busting everything out last month. My cart died on me. Eventually I'll replace.
New to the channel and love the content! Love how thorough you are in explaining everything and making it easy to follow. Makes me want to try speedrunning a game for myself lol
New to your channel but love the content! Keep it up mate :)
15:13 Personally I think "StorsterPurplePlanet" rolls off the tongue more easily
Just barely came onto this channel, awesome content my man!
Crazy how a weapon in Terraria made a cameo irl as a Nintendo accessory lululululjkoijuoijioj
Nice vid brother cheers on 11k
Loving this type of video fr forreal
Was really cool to see some of the references that duckhunt duo uses in smash. Didn't know it pulled from so many games
Was zoning out until I heard the Mazinger Z theme
Great video!!
Thx storster 4 ya nice vidz!
Hero’s duty from Wreck-it Ralph 1 would actually work as an NES zapper game
I bought SMB/Duck Hunts at 29 cents a pop from FuncoLand back in the day just for the dust sleeves!
You should talk about the super Nintendo version of the light gun call the super scope I'm wondering if there was speedrun for that lightgun
For the last game, the music is the title screen of Robocop 2.
Just a little thing I noticed as I used to play that game a lot back in the day. It is defo not the first game as you have in the chapter names.
3:08 Nat at all, it uses what time the zapper sees the white, and where the scan line is on the screen
Holy flash warning
You forgot the unlicensed game Chiller
gaming
Speedrunning
the NES Zapper
TO URANUS
Are you sure you can shoot trixie? I dont see a square bounding box over her when you shoot
Great Video but little bit more how exactly the gun works and some exampels would be great. Videos from the player while they using itthe Zapper would be intresting too
Not to take away from this great channel, but Gaming Historian recently did a really great video just as you're describing.
Where's Chiller???
Sorry dude this one is really hard to watch with all the screen flashing
Understandable!
