She is now Only 6 months baby..She couldn't move her two legs..In odisha Cuttack, Shishubhawan they tell us ,this disease couldn't be curable.. I have a hypothesis for the mechanism that causes the truncated proteins in many neurodegenerative diseases where a number of the triplet CAG exceeds a threshold: the methylation of the citosines, followed by spontaneous deamination, could transform citosines into thymines, producing as a consequence, one or more stop codons TAG. An inadvertent STOP codon would explain truncated proteins in neuron cells. If this is indeeed the mechanism, then maybe inhibitors of methyltransferase ( for example, Decitabine ) could be useful to retard the onset of the symptoms; if it is possible to expand the production of DNA glycosilases ( in target cells ), it might also be possible to enhance the ability of cells to fix ( remove ) the wrong thymine bases.
