Watching the day-to-day of how this works is very helpful. I agree about handwriting things for memory. If I type a to do list or an appointment, odds of me remembering it are much lower than if I hand write it.
This is so interesting! I love how the planning process is the same only digital. I don't think I'll ever switch away from paper planning but it's cool to see this technology!

Dear Kara! I really like your concept but may I suggest that you offer a trial version with say just a month and a week so that non-iPad users can have a look how everything would work outside GoodNotes. Love, Lorelei

I guess I’m just not into it. After watching for a few days, I don’t think it is for me. The perfect shapes and time it takes to do everything just seems like it wouldn’t be a good fit. Plus the act of writing pen to paper is how I remember things. I don’t really get the same effect when I’m writing digitally. Good luck and I hope it works for you! See you next month if you switch back!

So since everything is on your iPad, are you carrying the iPad with you throughout the day or can Goodnotes sync? Just trying to workout the logistics of digital planning....

This is a really interesting series! To be honest, I think I'll stick with hand-writing everything but I definitely appreciate the eye-candy of such a pretty way to journal.

Saw your video tonight. Am intrigued by your planner design and the way you use the planner. Went to your Etsy shop to buy one, but there's no planners offered for sale. I see a lot of tracker pages, but no actual planners like you show us here in your above video. How do I get one of the planners? I'm looking for the teal dated planner on the wood desktop.
Hey so I just bought a undated planner from you, is there a way to switch the days of each month? Because the 1st of July is on a Sunday and the way the calandar is I can only fit 29 days instead of 31
I’ve just bought one of your planners and some stickers, I’m using mine as a mental health tool and journal and as much as I love pen and paper it’s not stuff I’m comfortable with in paper form. Question though - how is your writing so nice even on an iPad, mine looks terrible on the iPad 😭

I would not recommend trying to work/write on the iPhone, but it is nice to be able to use the phone ap to look at the planner if you don't bring your iPad with you

Hey I know you said in your other video that you wish you started in the teal instead. Just wanted to let you know that you can replace the pages you've already done into the teal planner that you have by deleting the blank pages you've already done from the teal and inserting the purple pages that you did into the teal planner that you have. The links may not transfer but just wanted to throw that idea out there for you!
Very clever but I must admit I prefer your pen and paper version, you can't look back on the iPad in years to come the same xxxx

Okay, a couple of questions. Out of curiosity why don't you use the highlighter to fill in your boxes on your habit tracker and your projects? Also, how do you know what percent of your projects you've done when you fill in the bar?
I just like the solid color of the pen for filling in my boxes :) And each square on the progress bar is 10%
Boho Berry Thanks for the quick reply. I realize that each box in the project tracker is 10%, I'm wondering how you know that you've completed 30%, 70% or however much of each project? So beyond the tracker how can you tell? I figuring out how much I've done and how much is left.
It's really just a "gut feeling" gauge. If I just have a few items left towards completion, I mark it as a 90... just getting started might be a 10, etc.
can you rest your hand on the ipad with whatever pencil you're using?
You can, but sometime when drawing I'll wear a glove just to have better flow.
Maybe it’s just me...it seems as if your video picture quality is sharper and clearer! Higher resolution? And once again, inspiring bullet journaling. Working on mine...not as colorful as yours...I guess it’s a man thing 🤔🤙🏽

What kind of stylus pen is that and does it work for android tablets?

Do you update your planner on your iPhone when you don't have your iPad?

I was wondering about a few things:
1. Do you need more time to plan on your iPad than you would in your Leuchtturm (when you're not filming it)?
2. I suppose you carry your iPad with you to your office because you need it for work. Would you take it with if you were only using it for planning? I'm wondering because an iPad Pro is about 75% heavier than and twice as big as a Leuchtturm notebook.
3. Would this kind of planning work on smaller device like a regular iPad or even iPhone? Would work on computer without a touch screen?
Also, there is one aspect of digital planning that you haven't touched on: What about cross-device sharing? I use Google Calendar for my appointments because I like to share them across my devices (PC and phone) and with my husband. Everything else goes in my Bujo, of course there is no sharing possible . Digital planning seems to me a bit more work than using a notebook, so I'm wondering if there is an added bonus of sharing the planner across digital devices. Then one could plan comfortably on a tablet or computer and use a phone for the rest of the day. (Basically, that is the one big appeal of apps).

Hey all! I figured out if it doesn’t work in the google app it will in safari (as far as getting it to GoodNotes)! It gave me trouble too, so I hope this works for you as well!
If someone wants to show me how to join the Facebook tribe group...I'm just finishing up an hourly insert that looks like the scribbles that matter bullet planner. If someone will show me how to share it (i might can do it as a picture), I'd be willing to share for free!
