There are not enough affordable places for the poor to live. Nor is there enough funding for the social services needed for all the poor to get their live together. This f we want to end homelessness, we need to make a big investment in housing, social workers, and services for the poor.
@gracieofgod8899 do you live under a motor home? Here in Washington State, King County. We've spent millions upon millions on purchasing hotels and using them as shelters for homeless housing, millions on services and social workers. Know what the end result was? Grow up already.
People who use our public lands don't want them ruining our state forrests either. As a matter of fact I would rather have them squatting in a neighborhood, preferably the wealthiest one in town.
A remote section that is not on the beaten path. Eventually those that live there will figure out how to make it work. Why poke at the wealthy, just poke at those that squandered all the money that was suppose to assist them properly. Every human has a purpose, taking from those that do the work and make money should make the decisions on what to do with those that do the opposite. Not bureaucrats that squander the funds and stop the progress for success. @@Steve-ev6vx
They had some living in the forest. They ended up starting a forest fire. These people are fire bugs, Seattle had one camp that started a few large fires by the freeway before they forced them out. The homeless moved right back in before the ground went cold each time.
After all the rules of normal forest living have been broken, then they will be right back at the doorsteps of the taxpayers who rent. How does the cycle end? @@Fragmented1436
As the USA government treats the migrants to 5 star hotels. 😅😅
This is good 🎉 not everyone is homeless because they are a shitty person but a good majority is and it’s time stop letting people turn roadsides into trash dumbs and drug markets. Mad respect to the guy who said “I don’t need help I’ve never asked for help, I can live with this”
The guy is basically saying he's refusing help and will continue to live on the streets. He will continue to live in squander until he is forced to get off the streets (like most other homeless). He's mental and needs help, not "mad respect". The guy that wasn't able to get help (even though he wanted it) deserves respect.
Great work. It's sad but at the end of the day it's terrible to just have be parking in streets like this.
8 vehicles and homeless.
Lots of nad decisions.
Yup could have scrapped 7 of them and had first and last rent somewhere
This boils down to poor government. The government will not fix this. The government will only make it worse. Its what they do best.
You get what you vote for open your home to these people if you care so much
Blair- You should check in with RV camp run by Salvation Army and see if they still have empty spaces. Seems like a no brainer for them to referred there if they are spots.
Wouldn't work for her. No dope, booze, and mountains of stolen bicycles and garbage allowed. That was just an act for the camara anyway.

True. The news stations keep reporting that there is no where to go, but are really checking? All these homeless people talking about there are no alternatives. The news needs to verify it. Is there no where to go or are people just not wanting to take a shelter bed/ camp spot.@@DerBingle1
They've cleaned this up in this area, yes. But now, the issue has just gotten dispersed across the city.
Sounds like they need to go to argyle and tag them now
Actually, in the REAL WORLD, all People need to be given a Shock to their Lethargic, Deadend Habits and THIS could be EXACTLY What many of them Really NEED !! Think of Little Children Without Any Structure or Guidance, Zero pressure to get Chores or Homework done, Sleeping in Late instead if Going Off to School. Now change that Word to 'Work'.
Self-Decay is what they were doing. Pride and Purpose come from Meaningful WORK. What Progress suddenly Becomes Possible !!
Helping each other trash everything!
Helping themselves to other people's stuff.
You would think they would get together and clean up the garbage. I have never seen a homeless encampment that wasn’t piled high with garbage. When I think about homeless I see garbage.
When I grew up as a kid in the 70s I used to look at the Guinness book world records to see who the richest people in the world were. At that time there was a handful of billionaires. Today we have thousands of billionaires and more homeless than ever I think the problem is intense greed by the ultra-wealthy yes there's some lazy people out there some mentally ill people out there and there's people who have problems who would be homeless regardless but in my opinion it's the ultra-rich and caused this just like they did 150 years ago before we had broken up people who owned everything.
That's what happens when the top 1% get big tax breaks.
I would have billed the tow truck driver $10k per vehicle/trailer. and what the city did was stole the whole encampment !!! also known as theft !!! OK all I get is $350 a month from the government how many people can use this much money and rent and feed you self every month !!! Only luck I have I still live with my mother !!! but even though $350 doesn't buy much food now prices have tripled+ in the last 20 yrs. for $5 I used to be able to buy a loaf of bread a pack of bologna 500g and mustard 500ml. bologna is now $5-8. mustard is $5. and bread is $3. and to hire a family member to town now is $40 instead of $20. and if you use a taxi it is $60 one way !!! 15yrs ago it was $40 both directions !!! every time minimum wage goes up within 3 yrs all price will jump up to kill of minimum wage !!! @$12-$17 depends on where you live !!! and the food hasn't got any better. and most of the items are reduced by 1/3 in weight and not size.
Make them move away out of the city limits or to a safe camping spot with toilets and trash bins.
Make them move to Mexico
