- This man deserved every ounce of happiness.
I might expand on this video more in the future, but my editing motivation has been low lately, so I decided to go ahead and post it. I hope y'all enjoyed it!
AND THANK YOU FOR 500 SUBSCRIBERS OMG IT'S UNREAL
Truth be told, this is only a side video that I made while editing a different video. Many people have made similar compilations; I am definitely not the first! Go watch all of the other wonderful Twin Peaks memes on UA-cam as well!

I once saw this tweet that said “I love my manic pixie dream girl except she’s a middle aged man.” It’s literally him
MOOD
lmao
Well... Not literally ...
He's actually in his 30s (in the first two seasons at least), but I'll allow it
huh?
I love how Cooper and Truman start off with a mutual respect for each other and end up becoming fast friends, instead of the usual murder mystery show cliche of the FBI agent and the small-town cop he's partnered with hating each other for cheap dramatic tension. It emphasizes how they both realize that they need each other's help; Truman understands that a grisly murder like this is out of his department's league and they need an expert detective to crack the case, and Cooper understands that he doesn't know diddly about the weird town he's been assigned to and needs Truman's lifelong knowledge of the area and locals to guide his investigation. It makes them feel more like realistic law enforcement professionals than stock characters on a TV show.
Yeah it sucks Truman never got to show up in return he was a cool character although I understand the reasons why
Nailed it.
Exactly!
Their friendly relationship with each other is the whole reason why I stuck with Twin Peaks! It was so refreshing to see a local police man and a FBI man actually get along with each other!
(And, I mean, come on. A wholesome guy like Cooper strolls into town, what decent person wouldn't want to be friends with him?)
Now Truman and Albert on the other hand….
@@Matty272 He walks a hard path…
a hell of a comfort character
The fish in the percolator scene gets me every time
Jack Nance delivered that line with the same poetry as "She's dead . . . . wrapped in PLASTIC."
Dale Cooper is a role model
The ultimate dream guy
When you meet the perfect man, make sure he's a Dale Cooper
Oh my God what a golden retriever boy 🥺
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAN EVER
He's gorgeous
This man is my best friend
I loved him from the moment on when he couldn't stop talking about good coffee and cherry pie 😂❤
Same! He's so precious.
imagine if every single man on the planet was like dale? No wars.... no corruption... no greed. Just peace.
Oh great, now I'm making myself sad/mad... smad that it'll never come true 😭
Hey, at least you made us daydream about it. But, unfortunately we have to come to harsh, cold reality.
SMAD
smad'nt
Just coffee and pie
David Lynch hears you.
The sweetest character on the show got the worst fate.
What happened to him? Still in shock after s3 finale.
That is Lynch.
SHUT UP OH MY GOD
I HATE U!!!
why spoil
Watching this makes me sad about how little we got of the actual Cooper in season 3.
But his comeback was an absolute standing ovation moment, wasn't it? Love Coop, love Kyle.
We did get dougie jones though
@@townespugmire-lock5935 dougie jones though...
Agreed, the show neglected its best character for almost an entire season. Understandable considering the plot, but things could've been written differently.
Anyway, no point in dwelling on it. I simply rewatch the first season (and maybe the second one).
We could still have hope for a Season 4.
I'm not sure anyone has the talent to write such a character today, or if there is an audience to watch it. We've had 30 years of anti-heroes in Walter White, Tony Soprano, Don Draper, yada yada yada. Cooper was extremely smart, extremely good, and extremely in-tune with everyone and everything around him. (I started using the "thumbs up" in 1990, and now I'm a high school teacher who still uses it all the time.)
Walr was not an antihero
@@FlamingBanana90 The show was called "Breaking Bad", not "Breaking Good".
@@greyeyed123 he poisons a child to manipulate his impressionable partner
@@FlamingBanana90 correct, he was a villain character, unfortunate enough to be written in a time of dying artistic literacy, leading to idiots completely misunderstanding or just not even noticing the overarching themes of the show.
@@Camoedine Depends on how you define "hero". Walt is a hero in the classical sense (like Ulysses or Achilles), a courageous risk-taker who drives the story forward. He's just a bad person (like many classical heroes, such as Ulysses or Achilles). He's an anti-hero in this sense because he's sort of pathetic. He's a weakling who got a taste of power and became drunk on it, and all he ended up doing is wreak havoc, he didn't actually reach any of his major goals. It's doubtful if he really had any.
One of the best characters in movies tv or anything. I LOVEhim and his character is great
hi i just finished season 2 and this is my new comfort video
2:35 HE LOOKS SO SCARY HEREE
Just like in the scene "how is Annie" right?
🤩DUCKS ON A LAKE 🥹
It's good reason they didn't drink that coffee... not because it had a fish in the percolator... but because it was percolated coffee, which is horrible.
(snaps fingers) Gordon Cole! 👉
Special Agent DALE COOPER! 🦻
what would dale cooper do is an unironically good question to ask oneself in a tough spot
two minutes and 36 seconds is a very ambitious definition of “nearly three minutes”
My very *special* agent Cooper ;)
He is definitely neurodivergent
@2:24...greatly contrasted with his final line to Bobby in that scene: "You didn't love her, anyway."
He should spit out the fish coffee but he's just too damn polite and well mannered to bring himself to it. He does the right thing even if it means risking food poisoning, what a guy...
I like how this is all just in the first episode lmao
I really want a donut setup like Lucy did for them. Ever since I saw that scene, it's been a dream of mine. Maybe one day.
Need to watch all of Twin Peaks again
Dale cooper is brilliant 😊❤️
I really wish we got a scene with adult Bobby and Agent Cooper in The Return.
Protect him at all costs
Twin Peaks was ahead of its time. If it had released as an indie game in the past few years, this man would have destroyed the internet. The sheer quantity of content, particularly shipping him with Truman, would have mass so great it would have a gravitational pull equivalent to that of the sun.
Even here we have stupid ass shippers.
deadly premonition 🙏🙏🙏
theres a few zine scans from the 90s of trucoop shipping but i think if we spread the gospel of twin peaks more. we can get trucoop to win
shipping? tf is wrong with you?
@@FabulousCthulhu shut up
My favourite part (which isn't here) is when he tweaks Truman's nose, while making a 'honk' sound after telling him about Miguel Ferrer's character being socially awkward. Caught me off guard.
I love you Dale ❤
I feel like this man is my spirit animal🥰🥰
Omg I think I found a favorite channel 😍
Those sock suspenders at 1:02 are least sexy article of clothing anyone can wear in any context.
Except for Special Agent Dale Cooper 🤭
@@ajw1221 Even if Jenna Jameson wore them and only them they would still not be sexy. Actually they would make her less sexy.
how does it feel to be so utterly wrong
I JUST started watching Season 1 after having Kyle memories when the wife and I saw Part 2 of the new Dune movie. I told my wife Kyle played the original Paul Attreides and he was in Agents of Shield then.....the realization I never saw Twin Peaks.
It's definitely a different show starting with lots of plots going on at once. But Cooper seems to make the journey worth it.
He is so husband
IM SCREAMING SO HARD RN PPL KNOW TWIN PEAKS
YES AND I LOVE YOUR ZACK PROFILE PIC HE'S MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE
@@Pineapple_Coffee OMFG OMFG U KNOW BONES TOO I LOVE YOU
@@milesoutofhell ABSOLUTELY I KNOW BONES IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITES!! I've always wanted to make some meme videos for it!!
@@Pineapple_Coffee OMG PLEASE PLEASE DO IT bro omg i have 4 hyperfixations and u post abt three of them (house md, dead poets society and kinda bones) if u were to like the killers too we’d be the same person
I just finished episode 1 and i already love himT_T
i needed some cleansing after watching the return finale
In the return, I view Mr. C and the first Dougie (one being a monster and the other just a pretty scummy guy) as two versions of himself that Coop always had the capacity to be, but he chooses to be the silly goofy angel that he is.
It's yrev very.... good..... to see you again..... old friend......
Ughghh I loved Twin Peaks so much I couldn't believe they tossed him and Audrey : (
If Coop went for a high school girl then he wouldn't be the Coop we all know and love. He'd be a fucking creep.
Wasn't he like 12 years older than her
He was dating the actress irl at the time, and he wasn’t comfortable with the characters relationship, plus she was like 17
Audrey is 18 and he was dating Donna’s actress
this man is identical to Conor Oberst, like what
I have never seen this show but keep seeing clips of it and I cannot understand the vibe at all. It seems like something I should get around to watching eventually.
It's quite the endearing show.
It really has to be seen to be believed. Nothing shy of watching it can actually prepare you for the experience. There's nothing like it, and it's a wonderful thing.
The universe has been giving me signs for a decade or so to watch Twin Peaks. I bit the bullet and bought the entire mystery blu ray set and the limited series blu ray set. I'm most of the way through season two and can do nothing but recommend you watch it. A fantastic experience all around. Extremely unique.
@@34LOLWTF Great to hear you had a good experience.
It is simultaneously the kindest and most heart warming show ever made and the single most terrifying and mind-breaking thing ever placed on television. The vibe you get from these videos may not be a great description of how you'll feel about the show at by the end of season 2, far less if you feel inclined to brave through the horrifyingly brilliant season 3. This is Lynch and Frost using a television show to explore the metaphysics of highly esoteric strands of mysticism.
My spirit animal for life ❤
I wonder how many fingers I'd cut off to have that hair. Not certain, but I'm pretty sure it's more than one.
How the fish get there?
So this is what Steve from Blues Clues did after college?
Was Kyle Mclachlan stoned out of his mind in that pilot or what🍃💨
