Gen 4 but what cpu? i5 or i7 if you had an i7 just wait some time to get a new system since the i7 gen 4 is only bottleneck the gtx 1660 by 10% , but a monitor is cheaper than upgrade your entire system so if you want just go with the monitor first

@@meerparvej9516 rather than force buy gtx 1660super and suffer in heavy bottleneck you better get ryzen 5 4600G system for replace your i5 system at this point(sell your old system for budget support). with AM4 Platform you will have better chance to jump up in cpu & gpu later when you have more budget.
gtx 1660 is basically gtx 1060 with a very slight upgrade and why did nvidia stop teh stock for 1660 ti ? they better bring down the prices of rtx 3060 and 4060 for budget gamers

Check that you have the latest version installed. I had same issue until I manually pulled it

I have Gtx 1660 and i5 4690K should I upgrade the gpu to gtx 1660 ti or the CpU to i7 4th gen?
i'd say go for a 4core 8 thread cpu which can get 3.8-4.1 GHz(i5 6th ,i5 9th, i3 10th etc...), then after saving some money upgrade the gpu later.

i suggest u upgrade ur cpu to a ryzen 5 3600 cause u have a 36percent bottelneck so u could unlock ur gpu full power

The Ti uses less power and gets more FPS. These things are $100 on eBay. I declare it the best $100 Nvidia GPU
