AirVolution Kayak from Advanced Elements

I'm loving the new AirVolution kayak that Advanced Elements released last year.

It's a full drop-stitch kayak, but it's shaped like a kayak, not a canoe, so the tracking and handling is excellent.
The rigidity from the drop-stitch is amazing - it can handle a huge payload.

Hi, I own one of these and I'm wondering if there is any trick to getting the cockpit dry? How do you get into the crevices where water can get trapped?
What I'm doing right now is I deflate the floor and then try to wipe inside the crevices. It works for the sides but the front and back areas are hard to reach all the way into. How do you handle this and is it bad if you pack it away with a little bit of water trapped in there?
I'm using it outside of summer as well as I got a low sitting aluminium frame seat, but drying it is a challenge especially now with the lack of sun.

Hi there - I just do my best and it seems to be fine. I don't worry about a few drops trapped inside, I just prop the front and rear up to help gravity bring the water down, then I shove the towel in as far as it will go and that's it. Then I pack it away! Cheers, Emily.

@@OzinflatablekayaksAu Alrighty well then I'm going to stress less about it. I guess if it really was such a disaster packing it away when it's not fully dry then they surely would have thought about it when designing it. Thanks!

Does this have the same valve size as the drop stitch floor that I use for the Sport kayak? I ask because I use a powered pump for that, but that pump does not fit well on the Sport proper. If I could inflate this entire kayak with one power pump that would be great, and I would consider purchasing one of these.

Hey there doggyman1202! Cheers for the question. The Airvolution has 2 standard high pressure SUP valves, both are similar to the one you find on the drop stitch floor of the Sport Elite. If your powered pump can pressurise up to 10 PSI you'll be fine to use it with the Airvolution. Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
