Hallo Abandoned Explorer this a great video again, I have heard so much about former Sovjet Republic the Ukraine and the city of Pripyat, near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant which explode in 1986, its a pity to see so many huge buildings, apartments and playground now in decay and totally abondaned...everything left behind since the outbreak of that nuclear poison radiation. Very sad to watch this all, but my compliments to show us all those memorable places, moments which will never come back...... I have enjoyed it.
After watching the Chernobyl series on hbo I can’t believe you got as close as you did to some of that firefighters cloth, that shit is still hazardous fr
One of the absolute worst decisions you did was touching anything especially at the amusement park because there is extremely dangerous levels of radiation at the amusement park coating everything.

Many ppl here after watching the HBO show I see. Gotta say this. My dad worked in Kiev year - 86 when the disaster happened and because of the nature of his job he had to fly over Tšernobyl several times. Told us that even years later on a cloudy day there was always a perfect round hole in the clouds above the reactor. Later he moved back to Moscow to work there but he remembers all of the radio- and tv proadcasts. This shit is very real and it's painful to think about it.
That would be a great thing, it could also put a portion, or all, of the proceeds to go for a Chernobyl victims fund. A great way to get more help for them.

Are the contaminated firefighters gear still in the hospital ? if so it would mean that there was something there that was just meters away from the exposed core, almost immediately after it exploded. Pretty crazy.
Some people still got to see the basement, there is a sole on a pair of boots that went up to 103mS/v and it was still climbing. The debris was found as far away as Pripyat itself, one photographer found a small bit of a fuel pellet, collected it as evidence, and sent it for safe keeping. It was a piece about the size of a pea, I believe it was at 33mSv/h.
Kind of like the dust and debris from WTC 1, 2 and 7 collapsing, it went everywhere. There was an operation which demolished a heavily irradiated building. Civilians and officials watched the building come down. Huge plume of radioactive dust, everyone literally ran for their lives. They didn't carry out following demolition because of the high levels of radiation.
