    Here's how I consider what a good singer is. A good singer can easily make people move by conveying emotion through their vocals. Taylor overtime has become one of those singers. She's not a vocalist but she's one of those singers who can emote really well through her voice and make you feel exactly the way the song is to her. That's why I really think she's one of the great singers of today.

    • @danieltran9634

      Exactly my point. I commented on another video with the same content. More than a vocalist, she's a great artist.

    • @arielanderic
      @arielanderic 4 роки тому +32

      My thoughts exactly. She reminds me of Madonna because Madonna is also not a vocalist either but she (not much so now) conveys emotion in her vocals just like Taylor Swift does. To me conveying emotion in your voice is more important to me than whether or not a singer can do those obnoxious vocal gymnastics that Christina Aguilera does.

      If you listen to Carolina, which she just releases, she hit's a b2, which is contralto territory. I genuinely think that's where her voice generally settles, and the reason she could sound strained so easily in the beginning is trying to hit notes her voice just couldn't handle well

High notes and belting aren't everything (even if they were, she's shown she can do them and has shown consistent improvement). Her lows are great, she keeps improving and expanding her voice (she's been consistent enough in live shows from the start), keeps showing different sides of her voice. She has insane breath control. The guy with the crazy haircut is one of her regular musicians, you can notice him in almost every Taylor Swift live performance when her band is playing. But I still don't know what to call that style. Cool though

    The Lion King didn’t come out until 1994 so I don’t see how she could be singing that song in 1992.

    I believe the guys haircut is called the “choppy crop”, under the “scene kid” umbrella haha.

    The first video was from 1994 not 1992. “I just can’t wait to be King” came from Lion King which came out in 1994

    That clip is totally live , she never uses autotone , she is just a great vocalist if she focuses on singing only

      Upon underestimating Taylor’s vocal capabilities, you’ll understand why people think this way 😂 Anyways, we love Taylor.
