I paid $120 for the single barrel and $80 for the small batch and I had the prices brought down for example; the single barrel was going for $200 and the small batch was going for $140. The reason I got the prices down is ‘cause I bought two of each. Also, I’m from California and from what I hear is they’re both very hard to find. I do not have buyers remorse and I’m going to try the small batch tonight with my wife. Cheers 🥃
Well Col., cowboy hats, boots, and bourbon are three of six things I truely appreciate. 😁 My thanks for the information and review of this fine bourbon. Enjoy a few more shots!👍🍷
On one hand, I'm tempted to ask what the other three things you appreciate might be. . .but on the other hand, I'm a bit concerned about what answer I might get in return. Many thanks for watching the video!
Oh, we're safe, as there's nothing too rowdy. Fine horses, firearms made a century or more ago, and a polite southern lady that let's me enjoy the first five. Lost that last one due to illness, but it's ok, as none of us last forever.
Many thanks. I had hoped to make several more bourbon videos, but they usually get less than 1,000 views as opposed to some of my hat unboxing videos, which get in the tens of thousands.
Nice review! If you’re ever in the area, you should stop by the party source here in the Newport/Bellevue area in Kentucky. I’ve been told it’s the largest liquor store in the United States. They have an amazing bourbon selection.
A friend and I were talking about that store the other day. I am a fan of New Riff bourbon, whose distillery is located adjacent to the Party Source. I hope to visit both one day. Thanks for watching!
This product is just not available in this area, Buffalo Trace products have been hard to come by, I did find a bottle of Wellers green label but was a half gallon and just did not want that large of a bottle, I bought a bottle of Old Elk bourbon instead along with an Early Times Bottled in Bond. Jack Daniels just announced a 12 year Tennessee Whiskey I understand is very good and am on the look The Pappy you mentioned is it 15 year?23 year?
Brother, you should’ve snapped up that Weller Special Reserve when you had the chance. All Buffalo Trace products are hard as heck to find. I invested much time and effort in acquiring mine at basic retail, but it ain’t easy.
Howdy History Nerd, I've recently posted on my UA-cam channel two of my westerns hats encase you are interested. Both hats were inspired by western movies characters, I made shape adjustments to the hats and chose the hat cords/ bands for the unique yet desired look.
Excuse me...I believe the suggestion was for you to invite ALL OF US over for a tasting of this bourbon!!! And since I think it is inappropriate for you to be drinking alone on YT, I poured myself 3 fingers of my favorite Weller Green Label to sip along with you.
Count me among those that noticed the shelf contents. Thanks for the change of pace.

Quickly become one of my very favorite channels. And as a Kentucky boy myself, I really appreciate this one.
Loved this history lesson
Dear Colonel Nerd, as always, the video was very interesting and entertaining. Thank you and please keep up your great work.
Cheers to you sir! Thank you for the E.H. Taylor history lesson. Much valued.
I knew that you were a Major Nerd...congratulation on your promotion to Colonel.
I really enjoyed this! This history behind the bourbon, how you got it, and the tasting. Definitely subscribing!

Man, loved the history. Learned a few things. Drinking some EH Taylor small batch right now.
Thanks for watching. For some reason my bourbon videos have not taken off like the hat videos even though i like making them the most.
Outstanding Sir. Next up, Cigars. Cheers
What an amazing video!
