Hi Nathan, we would love to get an affordable controller ourselves! the Professional ones are very expensive - so if you come across with a acceptable solution please let us know...

There is hardly a difference... Azipod is the brand name of the azimuth propusion system of ABB - because this name Azipod is so short and convenient it is mostly used in general instead of the longer "azimuth propulsin system"...
