Writing an equation using point slope form given two points
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 лип 2013
- 👉 Learn how to write the equation of a line given two points on the line. The equation of a line is such that its highest exponent on its variable(s) is 1. (i.e. there are no exponents on its variable(s)). There are various forms which we can write the equation of a line: the point-slope form, the slope-intercept form, the standard form, etc.
The equation of a line given two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) through which the line passes is given by, ((y - y1)/(x - x1)) / ((y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)).

I've learned more in a little over 2 minutes then what I've learned in a week of class
factsb
so true
why is this like facts
helps more then my teacher

I love dis guy, he's pretty epic at maffs when i forget how to
Never have I ever learned so much in less than 4 minutes. My dad's hour lecture and me still not getting it is NOTHING compared to this! So grateful. I have been watching your videos for a few days now, and the urge of subscribing wouldn't go away, so +1 subscriber!
So happy to be there for you!!
this man teaches me more than my teacher for the past week
Thank you so much! my teacher only spent about half a day on this and I forgot it, now im studying for my mid term and I came across this subject
Bro my math teacher can’t teach but this guy can 💀
THANK YOU. NOW I WONT FAIL MY QUIZ TOMORROW!
For those that don’t know where did the 8/3 came from, was because he multiply -2 times -4 which is +8, and then he multiply 3 times 1 its equal to 3, since the -2 has a denominator of 1 but was hidden since it was written as a whole Number ,so this happens because every whole Number has a denominator of one that we don’t see, i hope i helped y’all!
This guy saved hundreds of thousands of ppl from failing
Who else in the middle of a test
nobody
Likes you
I do
Definitely me
@@youssefalihafeez5632 ily too heart
Yay Brian you hit 400k!
Thanks so much! My teacher did not explain this well.
you are very welcome!
You helped me understand it much better than my teacher! 10/10!
Those kinds of videos are life saver!
I love how you teach the the math it simple and easy to understand but it will be much better if you can speak a little slower and go a little slower as well. But I absolutley love it 😊😊
You could always set the video to .75x speed
thank you so much this really helped!!
Omg you helped me sooo much for my mid term by helping me study and in under 2 mins you are great

understandable. Thankyou
you are a king and a god thank you sir
Yo shoutout to my diff equations homies who forget basic math more and more each day
THANK. YOU.
Great video
Life saver btw
would love to have you as a teacher lol
Thx so much >o
thanks!
i love this guy
THANK YOU 😭😭😭😭
OMG THANK YOU🙏🙏 i been failing math cuz i didnt understand it but now i do thank you so muchhh
thank you
Thank you
So we can do y-y1 and y-y2 and it’d be correct either way?
How to find equation when both two
end points are given ?
Where did the 8/3 come from please explain me
you have saved me so many times!
So happy to help!!
uhhhhhhhh point slope form right? because at the end he said slope intercept form
Ppint slope for was the y-y1=m(x-x1)
(Edit: just realised I'm late af opps)
He then changed point slope for to slope intercept form
@@davidc. just had this same issue lol funny how useful these videos are for so many different years
@@davidc. wait so say i have these pair of points: (-1, 3) and (0, 8).
I use y2 and x2 for the equation.
The slope = 5.
So will my final equation be y - 8 = 5(x - 0)?
@@mxtty5633 yea
Thanks brooo
a king
😍
thx
i start off with the equation like example (-1, 1) (2,3) but the problemd arent supposed to go like how you did it
bro im stressing so bad, i got a test tmr and i still dont get it
I'm still confused but ima try
I actually might not fail my exam tomorrow
Thank you lol
easier than class fr fr
Looks like Robbie Lawler if he was a math teacher
How is this on the face of Google but only has 300 likes
Whoever reading this God loves us hope YOU have a great day
Why does this dude look like the bald version of the actor for hulk?
really late comment but please tell me how -8 divided by 6 makes -4/3 im so confused and this is in my freshman college class and my professor refuses to help me.
Thanks Johnny sins
Hold up how you get 8/3
Day before the test gang
What do you need to devide
Divide
Supposed to be point slope form
The point slope form is
y-7=2/3(x+4)
How you got 8/3??? I got lost there?
Lol thank you for sparing my poor Freshman head
You are very welcome!!
y=0.66
2:53 how did you get 2/1 ???
did you do 8/3 - 2 = 8/3 - 2 .And you just added 1 under 2?
No. If a fraction is over 1 it would equal the same number because fraction is just division and dividing a number by 1 won't change the meaning of the equation / fraction. Ex: N/1 = N. So, 2/1 = 2.
*Hope it helps*
Hello I have a question so my teacher gave me a slope and one point how do I saw them equation using only that I’m really not sure
He made another video
It’s 1 year ago but idc
Learning all forms of slope for my ged. My brain is hurting…
Randy Orton is a math teacher?
