I could not for the life of me get how they got the last number... -1=-3/2(4)+B -3*4/2=-6 it's a simple step but when you don't know, you get stuck on how did they get that number!
Um can somebody answer this how come 6/-4 become -3/2 i though its the decimal because 6 can be divided by 3 and 4 by 2 but why is it -3 and not -2 im wandering beacuse it shows its -4 but why is it not -2 and its -3
if either the denominator or numerator are negative, the entire fraction is negative this is because fractions represent division, since the result of a division equation will always be negative if the two numbers have different signs
In a fraction, a negative can be either on the numerator OR the denominator OR outside the fraction altogether. All these count as the fraction being negative.
Why? The reduce fraction of 6/-4 is 3/-2 bc the greatest common divisor is 2, and I goggle it and ask the AI and I'm correct, why -3/2? Can someone explain pls I'm not good at math...

No, you can’t use this for those points because those are in three-space. You need to find the equation of a line in three dimensions.
Do they have same answer if we plug in to the formula Y-Y1= Y2-Y1/X2-X1(x-X-1) ?
That formula requires slope and one other point to sub in. When you simplify, answer will be the same

It’s from the -6 if it’s +6 it’s gonna be the opposite (-) and if it’s (+6) it’s gonna be -6

-3/2 and 3/-2 are the same thing. We just usually put the negative on the numerator when simplifying.
