If they ever get the licencing issues sorted, I'd be happy enough with a G1 re-issue of Jetfire. He's already probably one of the more articulated G1s.
I mowed lawns to get megatron put on layaway back in the day and I’ll never forget it , I gave my mom the last 10 bucks to go get him for me at k mart . She gave it to me and the toy was awful 😂 it was megatron so I loved it but I knew the truth 😂 transformers just weren’t good toys and now you can’t afford the dope ones . 1000$ for a combiner is just crazy
Missing links... Not sure every transformers fans are into these Mike... I personally like cartoon accurate characters and what Hasbro is doing in the past years is close to that...😃💡☕️👍

Eager to see asap Missing Link G1 Metroplex, Trypticon, Omega Supreme, Dinobots (that can also combine into Volcanicus), Menasor, Defensor, Bruticus, Computron, Predaking, Abominus, Blaster (with all his cassettes), creating a G1 Arc with Mt. St. Hillary action diorama/G1 Nemesis with Ocean floor action diorama. Eventually all figures from all G1 English and Japanese Collector Catalogs. Continuing in the missing link style creating figures and action dioramas from the G1 The Transformers 1984-1987 TVSeries, The Transformers: The Movie 1986, Transformers Scramble City 1986, Transformers: The Headmasters 1987, Transformers: Super-God Masterforce 1988, Transformers: Victory 1989, Transformers: Zone 1989. Compliments to you and your channel. A real gem for collectors.
What gets me, is that in MODERN Times, you would think HasBlo would make a MODERN Ode' to MEGATRON replete with the ORIGINAL Alt mode, NOT a tank, or a plae or a space craft, BUT a Walther P38. No reason why they can't. For the Karens out there, grow up and get educated, knowledge just isn't power, it will set you free.
I agree that Megatron should hands down be the next Missing Link figure. Second should be Starscream. Any figures that have terrible to nonexistent articulation should be Missing Link candidates, like Rodimus Prime and Hot Rod. I think Ultra Magnus would be a no-brainer, too, since half the work has already been done.
All cool ideas for sure. I'm not getting in on this line though. I'm frustrated enough about how difficult it is to collect SS86/Legacy figures. I don't need to add another line that's even harder to get.
I skipped the missing link prime because I honestly do not want another prime until FANSTOYS and then I’m done. I did preorder the minibots though. A missing link Hotrod is probably going to happen, I think. I like your ideas about reflector!
Jetfire with updated articulation exist... they're called yamato 1/48, arcadia 1/60, bandai. Even some of the modern HG 🤢 controlled stuff has improvements (articulation-wise). Nice point about crazy devy being the missing link for devastator. I think they also did upgrades for Predaking (which was already the best G1 combiner). As for carbots, I'd say sunstreaker. I mean, wasn't it the original diaclone brought over (albeit red), but it also had a human figure/ driver that could fit inside. A missing link for sunstreaker could scratch that itch that omnigonix missed out on.
I've got fanstoys for the Arealbots and Stunticons. I was on the fence between Zeta and FT and was leaning towards Zeta until my supplier came to me with some pretty good deals on the FT Arealbots. I've got a Zeta Bruticus sitting waiting on payment. I've always loved the Zeta iteration of the Combaticons.
I’d love to see a missing link Hot Rod. He was all futuristic and cool with chrome and flames and we got elbow bend as the only posing option? So disappointing when I got him as a kid.

Let the Constructicons rust in pieces. Not sure about the Takara Encore, but the Hasbruh/Ballsmart Vintage Reissue was garbage. Worse than low-end KO level plastic. (As a kid, I had a KO of the Diaclone Construction Robo set that was mad sturdy indimavidually and combined, and it looked better than the puke green.) If they won't use decent plastic, it'll never work. Missinglink Hound: A slider to separate the feet and thus allow for knee articulation could work. But I don't think there's any room for elbows, since extending arms would wreck the proportions... Missinglink Ironhide & Ratchet: Not possible given how their transformation works. Missinglink Shockwave: ...I dunno... Missinglink (The Other Carbots): YESSS!! Missinglink Reflector: Probably needs a complete redesign of the red one to allow for elbows, otherwise it may not be possible... Missinglink Soundwave: This is almost a gimme. BUT!! They also need to do Soundblaster. Then do *EVERY. LAST. TAPE. MINION. IN. EXISTENCE!!* Missinglink Megatron: This would totally piss off the CHUG crowd who's desperate for a new, modern G1 gun Megs. Even moreso cuz Hasbro would be like "oh, we can't sell this, y'all on your own". So lemme see...Combiners wouldn't be feasible at all for the indimavidual robot modes - they're perfectly doable, because Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, but just cuz they can don't mean they should. The Triple Changers all have that problem as well: how do you get proper arms with elbows into tiny little twigs? I think that after Megs, they should do Rodimus Prime and Galvatron (use the D62S Anime Version for maximum effect, followed by the Hasbruh gray as a Selects release), then Super Ginrai and Overlord (which grants the US its first ever G1 Overlord), Starsaber and Deathsaurus (for the first ever US releases of those), and then cap it off with a backtrack to do the most expensive Missinglink figures in Fortress Maximus and Megazarak/Scorponok (another one Hasbruh would hit panic mode on..."G1 Fort Max? O NOES! WE CAN'T SELL THAT EITHER!! You're on your own..."). See the pattern? Autobot & Decepticon Leaders. Dai Atlas not mentioned because there was never a toy of Violenjiger.

XTB needs to get in the ball and release the next devastator bot. Also when is TF and ShowZ going to update its status on the last aerial bot? BTW G1 shockwave “G I Joe” was my favorite Joe along with shipwreck!!
I wouldn't mind if Takara bounced between 84 and 85, that's the years I definitely would want if Missing Link had a finite number of years in production. 86 and 87 have great stuff to pull from too, especially Decepticons once the Seekers and Soundwave are done. I certainly hope they do Megatron, would I stop collecting Missing Link if we don't get him, no, but I'd like to see at least a consistent 2-3 releases a year.
One of the best we may ever get for Jetfire just released at Showz. The FG-01 is a recolor of the Macross Valkyrie and is pretty close to the same size as the original at a pretty good price too. Good list, any of the iconic characters obviously have to go first and I think Soundwave would be a good choice for the next one, cheers!
I'm not going to get the FT Superion but it seems pretty good. My Zeta version is a few years old now and it's probably my biggest ever toy regret purchase. I wish I'd never bought it and I think I'm going to split it into alt modes and never combine them again.
I love G1 but myself not in on the missing link bots thinking of just getting Prime though. Right now just waiting on Show.Z to ship Jester and the superion parts. Will also finish Menasor since I already have the other bots. I'm really thinking long and hard if I want to go in on Devastador. Prices are getting insane and it'll probably be another 5 year wait.
I have the Fans toys but I’m late to the party and only have two Jets so my Superion would have no legs lol. But it feels amazing and I do think is worth it. However I think the Zeta option is just fine.
Good to see those Autobots with actual faces compared to just the windscreen to represent the face back in the early days, and for some GoBots too. Thanks. Megatron, I don't mind when he's something more practical like a Tank. The gun form is classic, although one of those scale size concerns in the animated cartoon series and the figures. I guess that could be said for Blaster and Soundwave too as Cassette Players.
If you honestly thought that these figures 'sucked', as a kid, then why the hell would you collect then now?! These toys were remarkable pieces of engineering, that became pop culture icons. Show some damned respect for those talented people that created them.
Well definitely, deva and megs, don't care for pistol or tank megs tbh.. got mp36 for that:p, then starscream and soundwave.. .... from autobots the dinos... some old designs are really bad, as you said to the point, which will be new figures not redesigning the old as it is intended. To my mind, Takara doesn't care to create a full collection of g1 remastered toys but enchanch current ones or create new small ones with 10-12 figures. Maybe I'm wrong.

All the remakes of the VF I've seen transform basically the same, and they all kinda suck because of it.
