Chapter 6 animation name (未尽 - Unfinished) -> Song Name (未竟 - Unfinished) Lyrics by 冯麟 -> 冯骥(Feng ji) Apologies for these errors, since I was using English text in game, I didn't realize the words for 'Unfinished' would be different for the Chapter 6 Animation name and the song name. My bad
That's the limitation of the English language. A full translation from 4 Chinese words (idioms) would require at least 4 lines of English and won't flow as well with the song.
The translation is good tbh. But there are some changes in the original Chinese line. 02:00 “最怕平凡” (Most afraid/worry of being ordinary) and 04:17 “不许平凡” (No ordinary allowed) 02:33 “少了悲欢”(lack of sorrow and joy) and 04:53 “不容悲欢” (No sorrow and joy can be tolerated)
@itsharibonph I just listened to this song right now & genuinely, it has beaten "Coming Back" from the 1986 Xiyouji Series, "Alone" from Saiyuki, and "The Legend" from Xiyouji: Zhi Dasheng Guilai (PS4 Game) as My FAVORITE Ending Theme for Journey to the West! As a Hardcore Fan of the Original 1592 Novel (Who also has seen MANY of it's Adaptations), The Meaning & Symbolism of the Lyrics legitimately made me Emotional! Just... Bravo to Game Science & Everyone who worked on this Game!
@@londonjackson8986 I'm surprised this is your favorite song. It conveys so much more than just Journey to the West. The lyrics subtly reveal deeper, more poignant stories about China itself (many metaphors as the game itself). I completely agree, it's the best one.
Maybe at a later date as I am pretty busy IRL and I mainly focus on hoyoverse content. But i love BWM too much so ill probs do a lyric video for destiny and where is the road some time.
The translation of this sentence is somewhat inaccurate, the original literal meaning is “Tunes evolve into songs, the most afraid is ordinary” The second half of the sentence does not name the subject of "fear of the ordinary". However, the lyrics in Chinese version is full of double meaning, it's really hard to be translated.
Ah so it is... Didn't notice since I used English text in game and the chapter 6 animation name(末尽) and song name(末竟) is both 'Unfinished'. That's my fault for not noticing :( and thanks for letting me know. I can't edit the video anymore though but I'll make a note for my errors in the vid.

That's the limitation of the English language. A full translation from 4 Chinese words (idioms) would require at least 4 lines of English and won't flow as well with the song.
Agree
Chinese is such a beautiful language and so many memes😂
Bad ending gets the other song from JTTW (the path lies ahead) and Black Myth Theme song
The translation is good tbh. But there are some changes in the original Chinese line.
02:00 “最怕平凡” (Most afraid/worry of being ordinary)
and
04:17 “不许平凡” (No ordinary allowed)
02:33 “少了悲欢”(lack of sorrow and joy)
and
04:53 “不容悲欢” (No sorrow and joy can be tolerated)
My fav part starts from 1:29 - 2:54☺️❤
Wowwww thank you so much 🥹❤

I wish there was more of the beginning music before the vocals, sounds like a separate song

i have sang this song to myself half the time
@itsharibonph I just listened to this song right now & genuinely, it has beaten "Coming Back" from the 1986 Xiyouji Series, "Alone" from Saiyuki, and "The Legend" from Xiyouji: Zhi Dasheng Guilai (PS4 Game) as My FAVORITE Ending Theme for Journey to the West!
Best manly song 😢
I really enjoyed this one! Any chance of doing this for "Destiny"?
Maybe at a later date as I am pretty busy IRL and I mainly focus on hoyoverse content. But i love BWM too much so ill probs do a lyric video for destiny and where is the road some time.

What's there to be sung if nothing's grand?...
The translation of this sentence is somewhat inaccurate, the original literal meaning is “Tunes evolve into songs,
the most afraid is ordinary” The second half of the sentence does not name the subject of "fear of the ordinary". However, the lyrics in Chinese version is full of double meaning, it's really hard to be translated.
Good job, but the name of the song is actually “未竟”
Ah so it is... Didn't notice since I used English text in game and the chapter 6 animation name(末尽) and song name(末竟) is both 'Unfinished'. That's my fault for not noticing :( and thanks for letting me know. I can't edit the video anymore though but I'll make a note for my errors in the vid.
作词应该是冯骥(Feng ji)
I think he did write this song
