Scott, I know those safeties, but it was VERY GOOD to watch your video to cement my knowledge. And you added to may knowledge of several of them. Your 3 cushion knowledge is evident & I really like it. Thanks a million for you videos. I eat them up!! " A little knowledge is a POWERFUL thing!" G. Matthews RIP.
Scott, a HUGE thank you for sharing these videos! I've learned a lot of great new things watching your instruction that have impacted my game tremendously. Keep up the great work!
I'm really shocked! I see those guys on TY shoot some of those safeties consistently, and I never knew how they could all be so good at it. Then this video comes along and shows how it's done. Those basic safeties are SIMPLE, after all! This video improved my safety play significantly, and immediately! My safeties were so bad, I just referred to them as set-ups. I've picked up other tips from you, even while your main discussion is about something else. For example, now I know how to get the cue ball to go straight across the table after shooting an object ball at an angle that does not look conducive to getting the cue ball across like that. (Strike the cue ball low.) GREAT VIDEOS! The more of this stuff you learn about playing, the more fun it gets. (I'm getting there. Right now I'm kinda fair at my Hail Mary shots, and I'm putting great effort into my body English.)
Thank you for the nice comment! There are a lot of basic safeties that come up over and over, I tried to show most of them here. Focus on how thick you hit the OB for direction and speed control. And when you encounter something unusual, you can use previous experience to figure out a good shot even in new situations. Thanks again!
I know nothing about safeties. I just shoot aggressively even though I have no shot all to make. But seeing this I am going to impart safeties in my practice routine. Thank You
Great! If you study the pros you will see it is an important and critical part of the game, often you can improve your game quicker by working on safeties and kicking vs offense. Good luck!

I can't thank you enough for posting these videos. Whenever I watch them over again, I pick up something I missed. So many good tips.
Very good video. Most vids on this topic have a lot of "Fluff". This has some good "substance". Thanks!!
Thank you!

Are you in Jacksonville fl?
Yes I am
@Scott Rohleder have enjoyed your videos thanks I live in the Callahan area just north of there
I heard some wise words once:
"You don't always play position to pot a ball; sometimes you play position for a safety."
Why is that big guy sitting on the pool table instead of one of the few empty chairs I can clearly see?
lol. I saw this as well. Like.... What are some people thinking... lol
So... hit it hard? Got it. Summary: Send it, bud.
