I remember seeing this video on my dad's phone and computer when I was very young, it was one of my first UA-cam videos I watched, and it was the beginning of me being a train Enthusiast.
The oldest deep level stocks in London are: 1967, 1972 and 1973 stocks. 1990 trains are: 1992, 1995 and 1996 stocks. The very modern stocks are: 2009, S7 and S8 stocks.
Congratulations on getting over a million views on this video also on the success of your channel. I know you have been at it since 2007 and I have loved tracking your journey from camcorders through to the Samsung S20. I started with a Samsung S4, migrated to S6, and then ended up with a Sony Xperia Premium. All served me well and then I switched to an iPhone 12 and that had brought my posting to UA-cam to a grinding halt. Somehow with Apple attempting to doing everything for me, I no longer feel like a filmmaker. Maybe just as well as it leaves more time to watch your videos and also makes me wonder what would have happened if I had gotten myself an S20 rather than an iPhone 12.
In every mile end video on the london underground people do it always looks like the central line train is racing with the train on the platform next to it 😂
@thegroupofreptiles6823 Thanks bro, I always wondered, a lot of old trains have them but only one left running :( They really should make a heritage route using just old London Underground Trains
I remember that you filmed the s7 stock circle and district and the old circle line I can't name the stock for the circle line but it passed away and d78 stock district line but it passed away in 2017
You are right. Computing LU with DB is really difficult but I think you can not say that DB is in general better as LU or Overground because DB in North- Rhine Westfalia is different to DB in Berlin. In some regions like in Hamburg or Munich, the DB is quite good but in other regions like North-Rhine Westfalia, where I live, the DB is really bad.
@Transrapiet I'm a big fan of the LU but to be fair you can't really compare it to DB, they're completely different systems and in my experience DB is better that most British overground services
Dude this was in 2011 look at the date of the uploaded content miss these nostalgic tube days they only started building the Elizabeth line at the time & the s8 stock metropolitan line units were in fully production & 1967 Victoria line units were in their final days
@hakc97isback yeah it is ok but im a guy who prefers the older trains, such as a stock, c stock, d stock and the 1967 stock i don't mind the 1996 stock and the 1995 stock though
I think the London Underground is great!!!!!!!! When I compare the London Underground to Deutsche Bahn I the Deutsche Bahn isn't that efficient than the London Underground... In general: Compared with much Transport Systems in Germany, London's is much much better....
Why do they have different trains for different Lines? Why cant every Line E:G:Piccadilly Line,Circle Line,District Line Have the same type/make Tube???
Mate i wish i could get on the underground to go to school/college!.. to be honest, i do secretly love trains.. problem is i live in the countryside in a village.. :-/ lol..
I remember seeing this video it inspired me to start buying toy trains and talking about trains
Love the sound of the Central line as it arrives with the loud tracks

So much cleaner than New York City. I didn't see one rat when I was in London this past summer. Bravo London!!!
Well, around 1 am, they have 2 mice running around
R.I.P d stock and c stock and a stock you will be missed
Someone really needs to do a race like this:
Mile End - Liverpool Street Central line vs
Mile End - Liverpool Street Hammersmith & City line
its clear central would win
Nice to see some footage from Mile End. Great stuff!
The next train station is west. Ham versus to Mile end
04:37 That D stock is packed up
It's rush hour.
@@Great_WesternTVFan oh ok I thought it was not a rush hour because all the other trains were not even that busy
i used to take the centrel and circle, and northen lines to school, now i only need to take is the jubilee and district lines great videos!!
Central line trains ftw, Mah favourites :)

The 1992 train sounds like a R62/A when it stops 0:14
Beautiful 😍
Basically, Different lines have different amounts of passengers. The more passengers, the more newer, powerful train required.
yet northern line trains who have more passenger than metropolitan line, have older, weaker ,smaller trains. Explain
For the northern line, its too hard for them to make the tunnel larger so they simply can’t get a large train through a tiny hole
Rip D stock trains. You will be missed!
Yes I loved them
And C stock too
@@awesometrainsandbuses and A stock
I didn’t really like the d stocks their just in the weird tier for me
I loved them and I used to travel the d line on my school trip in reception. But now they are gone I'm paying respect the the d stock
This was the first UA-cam video I ever watched.
Love how the C stock stops halfway down the platform 😅, also, I wonder why they make a clicking noise when speeding up like in 1:49
That's the sound of their PRAs selecting different resistors that are put in series with the motors, you can also hear it on the 1972 trains
@thegroupofreptiles6823 Thanks bro, I always wondered, a lot of old trains have them but only one left running :( They really should make a heritage route using just old London Underground Trains

R Han actually in the midlands some d stock trains got converted
I miss the D78 stock
me too

Was it morning rush hour
0:09 what a bang sound
I love that noise 😍
Nossa....Que silencioso!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The station I imagine going to when I imagine going down a drain lid... 😌
I was missing the D Stock because u can open windows on it
1:33 that c stock sounds like a 72 stock
It did abit
That's because they're very old trains. Old trains make that low pitch motor. Because the first ever DC motors sounded like this
c stock is my favourite whats yours???
1996 stock
1992, 1996, 2009, D, C and S stocks
72 stock
1992 stock, 1996 stock, 2009 stock, 1967 stock, S stock and the A stock
