Imagine seeing Erik, Colleen and Flynn walking down the street with Colleen crazily waving her arms, arguing about the end of the week. That person is blessed.
My mom and I had the same argument before and a stranger came up to us (who is now actually a friend of mine) and helped me with my point that Sunday is the last day of the week ... my mom did concede. Most calenders you can buy now put Monday as the first day because societies evolve and facts and ideas change so yes Sunday may have been the first day, but it no longer is regarded that way by a majority of society, therefore, Monday came to be known as the first day of the week and it is now the first day of the week because society dictates it to be so. Facts are just widely believed ideas. The widely believed idea is that Sunday is the last day of the week, so it now is.
HI COLLEEN! This problem is so relatable! The curly girl method is not only unfriendly to moms but also isn’t necessarily good for your hair - all those steps aren’t necessary. If you’d like some help from a curly professional that is ANTI-CGM hit me up!!
Definitely team Erik when it comes to the calendar question. I live in Europe, Hungary and I have NEVER seen a calendar that starts with sunday, here they all start with monday. Btw I never write comments on yt videos, but I didn’t see anyone else say this, so I had to. Love u and your videos.
Thank you for this.. I was scrolling for like ten minutes trying to find the perfect video to watch while I eat.. luv u Colleen! You’re doing amazing mama
Erik is right though! "Monday is the first day of the week according to the international standard ISO 8601, but in the US, Canada, and Japan, it's counted as the second day of the week." Everywhere else in the world, monday is the first day of the week 😄
I follow only the “rules” of the curly method that I like, or think are effective for my hair. I do follow washing as infrequently as possible, but condition it as much as possible. I also will put products in after a night time bath and put it up in a wrap or whatever and then when I wake my hair is done. It’s kinda weird. But I love not having to style it.
Same for me, I only follow the parts that are convenient for me. I've also accepted that my hair isn't going to look "perfect" every day and sometimes I'm just going to be putting it in a bun, braiding it, or tying it back.
Same here. Not shampooing didn't even improve my hair, even after 2 years of not using shampoo and only non-sillicone products. Now I follow CG techniques without CG products, shampoo when I want, squish to condish, use gel or mousse... whatever. My hair looks good and I get a nice clean scalp, lol.
Yep I only wash my hair twice a month if I can get away with it, but my hair/scalp likes dry shampoo. I swear now I don't fuss with it as much, it's only gotten nicer.
I wish I could tell people that every person does cgm differently and it can be very complicated or very simple. It depends on you. I don't use sulfates and sillicones, but a lot of people's hair is perfectly fine with them. I made up my own routine, because the ones on youtube are too complicated, I also don't use a regular towel and regular pillowcase (my hair is soo easily tangled and very needy), and for drying I airdry because nobody has time for diffusing, but some do it. You just have to find what is convenient and works for you.
Have you thought about making breastmilk ice cubes? I bought a silicone freezer tray with 1 ounce compartments and would freeze some of my breastmilk. Then I would have 1 oz cubes that could be warmed if my baby wanted a bit more. Saved a lot of milk that way.
Hey Colleen!!! I am not a mama, but my mom is a lactation consultant, and I asked her for help about how to help you make the transition from bottle to breastfeeding, and she stayed you should probably get a lactation consultant to help you, but she told me a trick to give to you! She stayed you should try instead of feeding the baby's directly from the bottle, you have to use a feeding tube that goes from the bottle to your breast hahaha I don't know how to explain it very well, but you stick the feeding tube that goes from the bottle and the tip of the tube should be next to your nipple, and that way the baby's have it easy to eat cause it's easyer from the tube than from the boob directly, but they go getting use to breastfeeding, and little by little they will like the breast better cause they see its not that difficult and they will give it a chance!! I hope you can understand it, if you need her instagram to ask any cuestions or anything we will be honored to help!! You are amazing!! ❤️❤️ (sorry if my English is not perfect) ✨❤️❤️ I really hope you see this and is helps you, my mom sayed lost of moms have this problem and this really helps and they are so happy! So I hope you see it and try it out maybe!! Love you❤️❤️ Idk if maybe you want to ask any cuestions this is her instagram @centroraices
Loving these vlogs, Colleen! Advice from a certified lactation specialist: in order to maintain your breastfeeding relationship (which seems important to you!) and increase your supply, try tube feeding at the breast! You can take formula or pumped breast milk in a bottle and there are small little tubes that you can place on your breast and either latch the babies over it or stick it in the corner of their mouth while their latched, and they’ll continue to pull milk from the breast as well as from the tube. This stimulates more milk production and keeps up that BFing relationship you value! It also teaches them that breast=food as opposed to the bottle and might make them better breast feeders (I know you’ve said in the past they can struggle with this) the consistent flow keeps them interested as well❤️ sending you love and positivity, hope this helps!!
Colleen, for your hair, I have really long curly hair too. What helps me is brushing it all out and putting it in two braids at night, if the braids are wet they’ll be curly when you take them out in the morning. You probably won’t see this but if you do I hope this helps 😊
Colleen: Flynn likes writing songs these days. That’s his new thing, writing songs. Also Colleen: 🎶 I’m making bottlesss, I’m making bottlesss! Time to make some bottlesss~ 🎶
Hey! Fellow adult with ADD, and I had to say I just laughed out loud when you were reading the nice comments on your Miranda video and went full double chicken wing with your hands in your armpits. I do the same thing when I'm happy embarrassed about something!! I've never seen anyone else do that! Sending love from a long term viewer and supporter!
I love how she’s like “stale” “ this tastes like gasoline” “this is what I imagine rat poop tasting like” and proceeds to put the cereal back on the shelf of the pantry.. 😂😂😂😂😂
From a curly-haired fan: washing my hair with shampoo + conditioner (I just use Head and Shoulders lol dry scalp) and then using "Revive" from Lush afterwards (just a lil bit scrunched into my hair) works WONDERS. It's so easy but it makes my curls look great. And if my hair is starting to lose its curl a bit, I brush it with just a regular comb so it's big and frizzy, spray it with water, and use a tiny bit of Revive and let it air dry. I also can't commit to long routines like that and on some level, I feel like they're just a way to get people to spend money/tell people how to take care of their hair when in reality everyone's hair is different. This is just a short easy routine that works for me that I hope can help someone else!
Colleen, I have a very similar hair type to you- VERY frizzy, thick and wavy/ curly. I am also the laziest person alive and I somewhat follow the curly girl method and it barely takes any time in my week, BUT it does take a few weeks for your hair to adjust which isn’t super fun but it’s so so worth it. I think the most important thing I’ve learned is that frizz is caused by lack of moisture, so finding products that really nourish my hair has helped SO much and I barely spend any time on my hair and I feel so much more confident.
Yesssss!!!!! Ditto as well, it works best for not having to wash and flat iron and all the crap I see Colleen have to do - I mean, you would t need to be flat ironing your head before going to give birth if you was going curly. I do wash my scalp, condition but use less than some videos out there, then I gel and plop. Let us dry - that can be natural scrunch or diffuser but break the shell and wala- a good week of curls if you put it up at night and refresh them each day. *You have to have a good layered cut first*
I honestly think she could actually spend LESS time on her hair than she currently does if she tried a simple method for wearing it naturally. I've several times thought while watching her "wow! I could never spend so much time on doing my hair" and she's so busy that I'm guessing she'd love a faster routine too!
My triplets went through a can of formula a day. I would whisk up a pitcher full every morning. It made feeding time so much easier. I would also put them to my breast to breastfeed a little through out the day. Just whenever I had a chance.
smart mama! the only thing I can relate this to is when I used to volunteer at a wildlife refuge and we needed to bottle feed a bunch of baby critters. we made a big pitcher of formula and prepped their tiny bottles (syringes) to cover them for the day. Funny how I wouldn't have readily made the same connection with a little humans routine until reading your comment.
Hey Colleen, my aunt went through the same thing about the breast milk. The doctor suggested to drink non alcoholic beer. It helped her tremendously. The beer powder, barley extract, and malt triggers pro lactation levels.
I’m a curly girl and the curly girl method was TOO MUCH for me! The cowash, scrunch, twist, plop etc wasn’t worth it for me either. I do a modified version of it with sulfate/silicone free hair products, normal washing, microfiber hair towel, scrunching, and air drying. I just re-shape my curls in the morning by wetting my hair and using a light product
Same. I wash with Sukin and then use a hair mask as a leave in cuz my hair is very dry naturally. I scrunch with a micro fibre towel and then let it air dry. Spritz with water and scrunch of a morning to refresh. That’s it
I am a gymnast, and when I have my hair in a bun for practice it gives me a headache when it is up, and it hurts really bad when it comes down. I understand, it’s horrible. Love you Colleen!!!!
As a new mum on my own breastfeeding journey, really enjoying when you talk about it in your videos. I feel like not enough people talk about the stresses and struggles we go through. Thank you mamma 💜
I completely understand the milk situation! I literally cried every time I had to throw any away. You put your heart and soul into exclusive pumping! I did it for 5 months until my baby developed a bottle aversion and only wanted to nurse. My sister-in-law pumped for her twins until they were 4 months and things just clicked for them. All I can say, is if you want to be able to nurse, keep practicing and protect your supply. Plus eat all the lactation snacks. Fenugreek and blessed thistle helped me recover my supply when it tanked. Extra calcium and magnesium on your period can help minimize loss during that time too. I'm sure you've heard all this and tried all the tricks. Good luck! You've got this!!!
So glad I read this. Having the same problem with my supply. It’s so frustrating and heartbreaking not being able to make enough. Going to give those supplements a try 🤞🏼
@@maddygrace17 yup that was me, fenugreek made my supply decrease by half in a matter of a couple of days. What works for one doesn’t work for another.
@@maddygrace17 I looked at the supplement I tried a month ago and it has that in it. That’s also around the time my supply dropped. Trying the legendary milk liquid gold supplements now bc they advertise that it is free of fenugreek. Glad I read your post before trying that herb again. Would’ve probably dried my supply completely.
hey Colleen, when you have stake cereal, pop it on a baking tray and cook it in the oven for a couple of mins. It takes away the staleness!! ps love this vid it’s so random wand so Colleen 💕
colleen! try just using a spray bottle to dampen your hair every day and add a bit more product. you can use gel to help it hold too! you seem like you know how to take care of your hair but it takes too much time and effort, this way it keeps your curls nice with little effort between washes :)
I love her natural hair sooo much 0:45 is beautiful I wish my straight hair would look like that!! I’m jealous!! Lots of love and positivity her way!! I feel like it’s been so long since she posted and it’s only been like 3 days lol I wish the vlogs where longer of her just living life and talking to us throughout the day!! I’m just thankful she is so amazing and still post regularly with three lil babies!! She is a super human for keeping it so real and honest with us all we need more humans like her especially on social media!
Pro tip to any breast-feeding mamas: if you weigh your baby before you feed them and then again after you feed them you know how much milk they got! I know it makes sense when it’s said out loud but I had to have a lactation consultant give me that tip when I was breast-feeding and also supplementing with formula so I didn’t waste anything. I did it every few days to get an idea how much if any breast milk my son was drinking.
a tension headache from ponytails and buns is a real struggle. i had super long hair and one day i chopped 75% of it off because i just could NOT handle another hour with my hair in a bun (and when it was down it was a greasy rats nest that just got in my way).
colleen i also have curly hair kinda like yours (expect mine is thinner) i’ve found a really quick way to do my hair without the whole “curly girl” method. i brush out my hair, put it up in a ponytail, then spray water on the ponytail part, brush it out again then scrunch it like once or twice, let it dry then take it down and comb out with your fingers. i spray the front pieces to fix up the parts i missed and my hair looks almost like shower day hair haha i hope you find something that works for you 🥰💖✨
Hello Colleen! *(I've commented this on another video but I think this is something you might like to consider! sorry for the double comment!)* First I want to say you are an amazing momma! I love watching all your vlogs and seeing how you interact with your babies plus your whole personality just brightens my day! Thank you so much for everything you do, you're a superwoman! Second, my mum used to work as a type of breast feeding councillor and I asked her what she would tell you with the information I gave her about you struggling to breastfeed and your milk supply lowering (obviously however you feed your babies is great, this is just a suggestion!). She recommended maybe using a breastfeeding supplementer. It's used to help feed your baby from a bottle plus from the breast, helping massage the breast and help the baby work for the milk from the breast while still being rewarded by easy to suck milk from the bottle. Heres a paragraph from the site that will explain it better than I can. *This is a device that allows a baby to receive extra milk at the breast rather than by bottle and teat. It consists of a container that is worn on a cord around the mother's neck. Fine tubing carries expressed breastmilk or formula from the container to the nipple. When the baby sucks at the breast, milk is drawn through the tubing into his mouth, along with any milk from the breast. When extra milk is needed for medical reasons it is better to give it through a breastfeeding supplementer than by bottle: Milk given in this way rewards the baby's efforts at sucking and he is more likely to be happy to feed from the breast and stay there for a longer time. Since the amount of milk a mother makes depends on how much her baby sucks and takes milk from her breasts, this extra sucking will increase her milk supply. Use of the mother's own expressed breastmilk in the supplementer helps a weak or easily tired baby to get more milk with the same amount of sucking. The sucking action required during breastfeeding differs from that used with a bottle. Some babies find it hard to do both, or reject the breast in favour of the different bottle. The mother is able to provide milk at the breast and this helps with both the hormonal and physical aspects of breastfeeding.* This site will explain it all: www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bf-info/using-breastfeeding-supplementer?fbclid=IwAR0mjjV0BB9Ed7njoklmsNxaUeQB427OCOYMDus-cLyFBWymF0GpIjx_sqU (you can most likely easily get information and the device within America dw) This is just a suggestion, whatever you do will work best for your family! maybe talk it over with your own breast feeding councillor if you have any questions or queries. Wish you well, and I hope you and Eric can get some well deserved sleep soon! :]
I also had a NICU baby and after pumping for months my body started to produce less and less milk. My obgyn prescribed me a pill that doubled my milk supply in 48 hours and it was just the boost I needed to get me through until he could drink from the tap!!
You make me SMILE!!!! I suffer from depression and anxiety and girl, you make me feel so much better. Although, not when you're in pain, it makes me sad. I just love your little family. Much love from Texas
I definitely have hair like yours, Colleen, and when it grows past my armpits I start getting headaches.😩 I used to have hair down to my lower back but as I got into my twenties it started hurting so I don't do that anymore. And yes, the washing it does help! Also my stylist makes her own curl mousse and I use that so it's not weighed down but it still has product in it. Also those phone cord spiral hair ties help too with less knots.😎
First day of the week debate: I agree with Erik, I've always said Monday is the first day of the week; calendars/diaries start on Mondays (here in UK) with Sunday as the 'day of rest' before the new week begins.
The day of rest was originally saturday. Its the same as the jewish sabbath, it was changed after a while by people and is not biblical. However there are denominations that worship on saturday and not sunday.
@@CardinalTetra Biblically, yes. But in general non-christian culture (at least in my country - The Netherlands) Saturday is a day for activities and sports and such, and Sunday people do less. The week starts on Monday here!
Hi Colleen, here in Slovakia and basically all over Europe, we have calendars and they all start with Monday and everyone would say to you that Monday is the first day of the week so I’m on Erik team!!!😂 I love your videos and you are amazing!
The JVN air dry cream is literally the best hair product I've tried. I'm the laziest when it comes to taking care of my hair so shampoo, conditioner, then air dry cream is all I do and my curls are poppin! Finding the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair so that they can do most of the work was key for me to be able to wash it and forget about it
Ok. I had the same hair problem two weeks ago. I was stuck in a heavy bun. I didn't want to go short in the winter, so I compromised. I went for an 80's hairband style. Lots of short layers blended into the long length. I love how light my ponytail is now. I love how easy my hair is to do now. Easy!
@@monicaallison1522 I would argue that the idea of a “weekend” revolves around the 40 hour, 5 day workweek Colleen is talking about, which is something relatively new in history. So if Sunday is the first day of the new week historically, the modern “weekend” just has to do with the workweek. I also think Sunday being a rest day/“weekend” day has to do with Christianity in the west, so I think that’s why the workweek in western countries would start on Monday rather than Sunday. it’s all kind of made up and it doesn’t really matter which day starts the week IMO 😂 especially now that I work somewhere that is open 365 days a year
It’s so inspiring how vulnerable and raw you are with all of us. Working at a daycare all day but getting to watch you makes me see how normal I am! Thank you so much Colleen you’ve been saving me since I was in middle school! Xoxo sending love
I love the breast milk talk you had. I work in an infant nutrition center at the local hospital and make the feedings for the babies in the NICU. Our primary goal is to not waste any of mom’s milk so we are constantly trying to guess how much our babies will eat so we don’t mix too much. But anyways, I love watching you and your family!
Sunday. Is. The. First. Day. Of. The. Week. Lol Colleen I love you, I am Seventh Day Adventist and we rest on the Sabbath, the last day. I love that you are so in the know with how it all came about and Sunday is the First day! Loool thank you!
From myself and your subscribers, we love you Colleen, your strength is admiring and we’ll always be here for you. I’ve loved watching your journey through the years, you’re so brave, kind, selfless and caring. Thank you for being genuine and you 💜

love how Colleen is looking to see if the cereal is stale yet doesn't close any of them back up with a clip when she puts them back lol classic Colleen!
I have the same problem with a top bun feeling heavy and giving me a headache. Two French plaits/braids is my go to. It’s a little time consuming but worth it
Colleen, have you ever tried braiding your hair before going to bed? When my hair was long I did this to preserve my natural waves overnight. It didn’t make it perfect but it certainly helped with frizz
Hi Colleen! I just wanted to comment to say thank you for sharing your nicu journey. I watched your vlogs while pregnant not realizing this would also be me. I had pre-eclampsia HELLP syndrome and had to deliver my baby girl at 34 weeks last week with an emergency c-section. Because I watched your journey I knew exactly what to expect. Before any of this happened I felt in myself that I related to your story. That I just had a weird feeling deep down that I’d also have a nicu baby. I don’t know what it was, but I just connected with it. Fast forward to now and this is what has happened. I’m writing this as I lay on a bed next to my baby girl (who daddy is holding) in the nicu. I hope you know your vlogs really mean a lot to me and they bring me hope that we will bring our baby girl home very soon. ❤️ thank you Colleen.
Hey Adrienne. Sending all the good vybz your way that your baby girl will be home soon. Through watching Colleen’s vlogs, I can only imagine what you all go through. Sending love to you and daddy!
As a fellow NICU parent please know that for every single second that you are struggling right now, they will soon be replaced with seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years - a whole lifetime of amazing times. My twin babies were born almost 16 years ago and each of them were no bigger than my hand and now I have happy, healthy, strong and BIG children who light up my life. Positive thoughts and love going to your family! You'll be home together soon x
Hi Colleen I'm just here to say your videos have been giving me little sparks of joy in my mornings and teaching me about so many things I never would've thought of about motherhood! Also: I don't have curly hair but my hair is VERY thick and used to be 3ft long and a big reason why I cut it was the headaches!! I am already someone who has migraines and frequent headaches and my hair has always been connected to that. Believe it or not sometimes more tightly wrapped/secure buns can help postpone the headache until later in the day vs looser buns that weigh down more. The headache still comes lol but it takes longer. Also as a Jew, can confirm Saturday is the end of the week.
I'll just say that here in Mexico, Monday is the first day of the week and the weekend is actually both days Saturday and Sunday 🤓 Send you lots of love Colleen 💕
I am with you Colleen. Sunday is day one of the week. We even used to sing it in nursery school - Sunday-Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday and Saturday (add a cheer at the end). Monday is the beginning of the work week.
For me: SILK EVERYTHING. Pillow protectors or just for the head, the curls live forever with them!!! Also, just putting the cream and squishing it as I plop the product on is enough. The time to comb and blow dry for me would take twice as much as just getting out of the shower and use a cream (have tons of hair) even if I blow dry it I use just for the roots foe like 5 mins
All calendars I've had in the past couple of years start with Sunday. When I was in Preschool/Kindergarten, there was a days of the week song which started with Sunday and the calendars we used to do calendar time with again, Sunday. I agree with you Colleen!! I didn't even know so many people thought the week started on a Monday.
I'm pretty sure the week starting on Sunday is a US-influence sphere thing, because in most of Europe (dare I say all) the week starts on Monday! On calendars, in songs, in culture, everything!
I 10000000000% agree with Colleen on this! Sunday is definitely the first day of the week. I literally never comment but this is very important to me. I've heard you guys debate this sooo many times and I finally decided that I had to weigh in lol
I agree. And I actually grew up going to church on Saturday. BUT, keep in mind it also says in the Bible and makes sense that the sabbath day was made for man, not man for the sabbath. Therefore, if someone HAD to work on the sabbath day, they can honor it another day and it’s still fine. A house divided cannot stand. And we shldnt argue over such things. We may not all agree on everything, but we shld still be kind to one another; that’s most important - Love ❤️ Fun fact: just asked my husband and he says the first day of the week is Monday and I say it’s Sunday like the calendar. 😂 I didn’t even know he saw it that way. He says it’s just a feeling and that’s how he feels abt it. 🤷🏻♀️😆 That’s cool.
You guys' "arguments" or debates are my favorite lol and I have to say, most of the time, I agree with you Colleen! Sundays are the first day of the week! When you list the days it goes Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc. And bath mats in the guest bathroom for the win 🤣🤣 love yall ♡
Yes! I primarily pumped and supplemented with formula for my first, and it was so tricky knowing how much he would eat! It’s truly a balancing act. Sounds like you’ve got a good method. 😄👌🏼 Also, my hair is thick, so I get headaches when it’s up! I end up cutting it eventually because I get tired of it. 😅
Yes omg I get that heavy hair headache! I grew it too long once, I finally got it cut and I can’t tell you the instant lightning and relief. But I still get it. I feel ya!
To back you up, Colleen, the Sabbath is on Saturday, which makes it the seventh day of the week according to the Hebrew scriptures. The reason Christians started worshipping on Sunday is because Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday, so the Christian day of rest no longer aligned with the seventh day of the week. A lot of European viewers are saying their calendars start on Monday; I'm guessing that this happened as a result of those countries becoming more generally secularized. In the US the majority of people still claim to be some form of Christian.
COLLEEEEEN YES i have thick long curly hair and omg when i wear it in a messy top bun it hurts after 2 hours and the only relief is a shower and those sculp massagers. I also can only brush my hair when it's wet or before a shower because the frizz is ridiculous. Even with the special no frizz brushes.
Yes my hair is naturally curly. So yes I understand the struggle. I had to shave my hair. Because it was so thick. Anyway I wear wigs so it doesn't matter. You do what you want with your hair. I'm so proud of you. Your doing an amazing job
My hair is VERY thick and super curly like yours. I had long hair up until about a year ago, then I cut it and got an undercut. And it was seriously the best decision I’ve EVER made. It feels soooo good and I’m letting one side grow out and keeping the other side shaved. It is a lot of upkeep but it’s soooo worth it 🥰

I think this also depends on where you live, because living in Finland I have never seen a calendar that starts every week on a sunday 🤷♀️😂
That’s exactly what I was thinking 💀

@@alisona8318 No shampoo at all?! I heard that clogs your scalp and causes hair loss.
Have you thought about making breastmilk ice cubes? I bought a silicone freezer tray with 1 ounce compartments and would freeze some of my breastmilk. Then I would have 1 oz cubes that could be warmed if my baby wanted a bit more. Saved a lot of milk that way.
That’s a really great idea!
This is great!
I did this too!
Oh yeah it’s like what Maia Knight on tik tok does for her twins
Yep! The brand Milkies has one! They also have a Milk-Saver that catches what you leak so that it can be stored too!
❤️❤️ (sorry if my English is not perfect) ✨❤️❤️
I really hope you see this and is helps you, my mom sayed lost of moms have this problem and this really helps and they are so happy! So I hope you see it and try it out maybe!! Love you❤️❤️

I really hope that Colleen sees this. 🙏🏼 Thank you for your wonderful advice.

Colleen, for your hair, I have really long curly hair too. What helps me is brushing it all out and putting it in two braids at night, if the braids are wet they’ll be curly when you take them out in the morning. You probably won’t see this but if you do I hope this helps 😊

This is just a short easy routine that works for me that I hope can help someone else!
this is the only comment i’ve found that seems affordable and not time consuming! thank you! i’ll try it
@@zara.1212 I hope it works for you!

YESSS!!
This is SO SMART!
Awesome advice! Sorry you got THREE bots!
smart mama! the only thing I can relate this to is when I used to volunteer at a wildlife refuge and we needed to bottle feed a bunch of baby critters. we made a big pitcher of formula and prepped their tiny bottles (syringes) to cover them for the day. Funny how I wouldn't have readily made the same connection with a little humans routine until reading your comment.
Bump!

Dude I'm gonna be SO prepared to be mom and see all the possible situations of life as a pregnant person and also a newborn mom. Thank youuuuu
a tension headache from ponytails and buns is a real struggle. i had super long hair and one day i chopped 75% of it off because i just could NOT handle another hour with my hair in a bun (and when it was down it was a greasy rats nest that just got in my way).
I love how you pay attention to your kids even when your talking to us because some moms don't even listen to them when they are talking to us
colleen i also have curly hair kinda like yours (expect mine is thinner) i’ve found a really quick way to do my hair without the whole “curly girl” method. i brush out my hair, put it up in a ponytail, then spray water on the ponytail part, brush it out again then scrunch it like once or twice, let it dry then take it down and comb out with your fingers. i spray the front pieces to fix up the parts i missed and my hair looks almost like shower day hair haha i hope you find something that works for you 🥰💖✨
Hello Colleen!
When extra milk is needed for medical reasons it is better to give it through a breastfeeding supplementer than by bottle:
Milk given in this way rewards the baby's efforts at sucking and he is more likely to be happy to feed from the breast and stay there for a longer time.
The mother is able to provide milk at the breast and this helps with both the hormonal and physical aspects of breastfeeding.*
This site will explain it all: www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bf-info/using-breastfeeding-supplementer?fbclid=IwAR0mjjV0BB9Ed7njoklmsNxaUeQB427OCOYMDus-cLyFBWymF0GpIjx_sqU (you can most likely easily get information and the device within America dw)
This is just a suggestion, whatever you do will work best for your family! maybe talk it over with your own breast feeding councillor if you have any questions or queries.
Wish you well, and I hope you and Eric can get some well deserved sleep soon! :]
I hope she sees it

Colleen is right Sunday is the first day of the week, but Erik is right that Sunday ~feels~ like the end of the week
Isn’t Sunday part of the weekend though? If it is then how can it also be the beginning of the week?
@@monicaallison1522 I would argue that the idea of a “weekend” revolves around the 40 hour, 5 day workweek Colleen is talking about, which is something relatively new in history. So if Sunday is the first day of the new week historically, the modern “weekend” just has to do with the workweek. I also think Sunday being a rest day/“weekend” day has to do with Christianity in the west, so I think that’s why the workweek in western countries would start on Monday rather than Sunday. it’s all kind of made up and it doesn’t really matter which day starts the week IMO 😂 especially now that I work somewhere that is open 365 days a year
@@monicaallison1522 think of it more like it bookends. So Sunday is the front bookend, Saturday is the back bookend.

I'll just say that here in Mexico, Monday is the first day of the week and the weekend is actually both days Saturday and Sunday 🤓

Thanks for the tips!

Yes omg I get that heavy hair headache! I grew it too long once, I finally got it cut and I can’t tell you the instant lightning and relief. But I still get it. I feel ya!
I love seeing Colleen read nice comments and realize how special we all think she is 🥰
fun fact we start school days on sundays so i kinda agree with u colleen
To back you up, Colleen, the Sabbath is on Saturday, which makes it the seventh day of the week according to the Hebrew scriptures. The reason Christians started worshipping on Sunday is because Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday, so the Christian day of rest no longer aligned with the seventh day of the week.
A lot of European viewers are saying their calendars start on Monday; I'm guessing that this happened as a result of those countries becoming more generally secularized. In the US the majority of people still claim to be some form of Christian.
So Saturday last day for only god believers or something
Crying in European about Colleen's "The first day of the week is a monday because all calendars start on monday." lol
COLLEEEEEN YES i have thick long curly hair and omg when i wear it in a messy top bun it hurts after 2 hours and the only relief is a shower and those sculp massagers. I also can only brush my hair when it's wet or before a shower because the frizz is ridiculous. Even with the special no frizz brushes.
in russia, the calendars start with a monday, so i can’t even IMAGINE saying that the week start with a sunday
Haha, same in Sweden!
I'm pretty sure the whole Europe start the week on Monday
Yes my hair is naturally curly. So yes I understand the struggle. I had to shave my hair. Because it was so thick. Anyway I wear wigs so it doesn't matter. You do what you want with your hair. I'm so proud of you. Your doing an amazing job
My hair is VERY thick and super curly like yours. I had long hair up until about a year ago, then I cut it and got an undercut. And it was seriously the best decision I’ve EVER made. It feels soooo good and I’m letting one side grow out and keeping the other side shaved. It is a lot of upkeep but it’s soooo worth it 🥰
You sharing the nice comments is not "braggy" I love hearing when your fans say great things to you!! You work hard and deserve the nice comments. Please try not to let toxic past relationship live rent free in your head..you have expensive head space now!!!! ♥♥
Eric: "I live in the real world, I don't live in a calender"
Colleen: "Are you on earth?"
this had me dying lol love ya'll :)
I LOVE how Flynn sings has thoughts! I sing like that too! All my animals have their own special jingle! 🙈
Erik is absolutely and undeniably right on the days of the week topic. Monday is the first day, all my calendars have Monday as a first day of the week and Sunday is last
