But as someone who struggles with negative self talk as well, it’s not just a switch that can be turned on or off. There are deeper rooted situations where negative self talk is just a symptom, and it’s constant introspection and hard work to get to a point where you can positively self talk and actually believe it. Sometimes harping on someone for it can end up making it worse as then there tends to be a shame spiral that happens, and just leads to more negative self talk. So I think we should just keep reminding her how amazing she is! Love you Colleen!
