You’ve got to love that Ohio weather. It can go from 78 one day to an inch of snow the next and that’s not even a joke
Yeah seriously I didn’t get all the hate for Orion either, such a fantastic ride. Fun fact, it’s first drop is actually the steepest of the 3 B&M Gigas being 85 degrees.
Love to see orion getting better reviews this season
That's it, I'm going to Cincinnati.
It's my home park. Such a great park!
KI's 50th> WDW's 50th
I agree.
Kings Island is a great park Great Layout. I specifically like that the kid section is all together and waterpark is off on its own.
Great video, as long as they keep bringing back the nice things that made KI special, it will continue to get better. The 2004 seasons was probably the parks saddest, since they closed 2 of the parks rides that people loved, and both were there when it opened. Been going to KI since 1989, love it!
That was Paramount trying to BE Universal.
Wow w the disney quality firework show
Smurf ice cream is ICONIC!
I see Flight of Fear is what you get if Poltergeist and Space Mountain got married.
KI 50th > WDW 50th
hey its me im in the video....im the greeter at beast
I went on the 2nd of august this year. We got in line for The Beast at 9:15, they closed it at 9:30 for the show. We got a decent view from the queue. They opened it back up at 10:30, got on at 10:45, left the park at 11 for a 2 hour drive back to Louisville
Been there 4 times in the last 3 years it's that good. And I live an 8 hour drive away. Most recently last Friday. Always stay the whole day too with Fast Lane Plus. Sooo worth it just to ride the big 5 there (Orion, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback, Banshee, and Beast) over and over again with less than 5 minute waits. Night rides on all of them are some of the best in the coaster world. But even the remaining support cast are excellent fun with Invertigo, Bat, the Racers, Flight of Fear, Back Lot Stunt Coaster, and Adventure Express. The food is excellent and the staff, especially when it comes to ride ops, are some of the best in the industry. Add in free fireworks and entertainment throughout the day...This park just needs one ultra-elite clear #1 coaster and they'd be for sure my favorite park. The top 3 of Mystic, D-Back, and Orion are all so balanced and could all take the #1 spot on any given day. All top 25 rides in the country for me. But just get something like an X2, a top tier RMC, or a new age Intamin like Pantheon or Velocicoaster and this would be my clear #1 park. It may already be.
Seeing the lasers during that great fireworks show really makes me miss how the old Fantasmic ended.
Spot on review. Nothing better than a slow Wednesday night during WinterFest just lapping Mystic Timbers in the dark.
Really wish I could of had a full second day at KI. I had my best day at a park and didn’t even see like 15% of it.
It's definitely a 2 dayer
Boomerangs are cursed for me too lol. On my trip to Washington I spent two days at Silverwood and Aftershock was closed both days (but opened the day after I left, go figure). Then on the way back I stopped at WoF and Boomerang was closed there too, although they were testing it a few times which was misleading. Kings Island is my next new park so we'll see what happens!
Make sure to help us rank every ride at Kings Island! forms.gle/Rgc2DT3bqzexuAJy6
The Woodstock Express has a long history. It has changed names multiple times but it was originally the Teddy Bear from Cincinnati's Coney Island. It was moved with multiple other rides from Coney when King's Island originally opened.
Woodstock Express was built specifically for Kings Island. Teddy Bear had a similar layout but ultimately was a different ride. An exact recreation of Teddy Bear is located at Strickers Grove in Ross, Ohio.
Midwest Disney. Love it
KI is my Disney World
Maybe one of those historic walk arounds could serve Magic Mountain well.
Going this year cant wait thanks for great input
Great video! Gotta not love Ohio's thunderstormy weather though.
Awesome video guys
the restrooms are probably a cedar fair thing .... i dont remember them ever being like that under paramount ... plus cedar point was always less kept up / quality vs paramounts kings island
45 minutes! wow fell like I just one the lottery!
As a parent of a seven year old who has to choose what kinds of rides my daughter can and should do this was very helpful!
racers used to have one side carts ride backwards -that was better

This was a helpful video for me because I’m going for the first time next weekend.
You don’t have to pay to go to the water park there you know
They need a giga
They have a giga
I can answer the title question: Yes, yes it is.
