How To Knit Drop Stitch or Elongated Knit Stitch

Are you looking for a great new airy and cool stitch for your summer tops?
You've probably worried about dropping stitches since you started knitting, but today we're going to learn how to drop knit stitches on purpose to create this lovely loose and drapey pattern, the perfect way to start your lace knitting journey.
It looks scarey but, honestly it's so easy even beginners can have a go!
The drop stitch involves wrapping yarn around your working needle while knitting to create elongates stitches then purposefully dropping those stitches in the next row. Confused? Don't be!
