You just gave me the thorough walk through that I was missing when accepting delivery of my new Tucson hybrid . Thanks so much for this
No problem!
Thank you. I love how you went through all the buttons and the infotainment system. It will save me so much time when I pick my vehicle up in a few days.
Glad it helped!
Impressive and incredibly comprehensive. Best of any review out there. Highly recommend. Thank you
Thank you!!
Thank you for the walk through. I appreciate you providing this on UA-cam, where future customers can access it.
Of course!
Thx for the comment!
Best Feature Review for this car I've found on UA-cam, great job!!
Thanks!
Best walk through of the Tucson N-line, especially the Canada version. Thanks
No problem! Thank you for the comment!
Your explanation was excellent, complete and helpful. I really appreciate it 🙏
Thanks!
Just watched your vid on N-line, got mine yesterday. Very informative & best vid ive seen on line.......Thanks a lot, Teltec
Right on! Congrats!
Thx!
I'm planning to get one. May I know OTD price?
Check with your local dealer, as it'll vary a bit from market to market
How is it doing so far. I actually just came from the dealership but I told them I still need to think about it.
Just got my N Line yesterday, this was so helpful.
Congrats!

@@DrAlmurshidy I am almost at 5k miles and going great.
best car review I've seen yet 👌 very well made 👌
Hey thanks!!! 🙂
Bitte endlich einmal Deutsche Sprache, alles ist möglich auch bei Hyundai Danke
Warum alles immer englisch?? Englisch???
Nun, weil ich in Kanada bin und kein Deutsch spreche. 🤷
Warum findest du nicht in Deutschland einen UA-camr, der Deutsch spricht?
Thank you so much for this brief and Informative Review. The best Tucson N-Line Hybrid review on internet keep it up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏
Thank you!!
Keep on making such in-depth videos great explanation.
THANKS!
Top-notch overview of this vehicle - about to look for other reviews you've done. Subscription added / great job 👍
THANKS!!!
I wish that they had this in red exterior.
We do in Canada
I have this car in white. It's not an SUV but it is BIG. Wifey LOVES the car it's MUCH bigger than the Ioniq I used to have(it was very hard for her to get in it). There are some issues though.
A. I expected this car wouldn't get NEAR the mileage my Ioniq did and I was right. The Ioniq got 54-55 mpg and I can't get this N/Line above 35mpg. I drove it for 45 miles tonight and it got a little over 32mpg and I drove it at 60mph the whole way. That's 33mpg less than the Ioniq. I give this car a C-.
B. Accelerating from a stand start the turbo makes this little engine rattle even past 50 warmed up.
C. The words on the computer are very difficult to read. I use a flashlight to see the computer and also the instrument panel in front of me(nighttime only).
D. The roof slopes rearward too flat. I'm 5'9" and I have trouble getting in the car. For its size it should not be that hard for people my height to get in w/o folding up my body.
E. I raised the hood tonight for the first time. I had to use both hands. It must weigh 100lbs. The rest of the car is pretty light.
I hope the new Ioniq EV will get really good range(500-600 miles).
Excellent!!! Liked and subscribed!
Sweet! Thanks!
Great details and review Ed. Can you order a custom N Line body colour and exterior, or does Hyundai just send what every is available to the dealers? I loved the blue exterior with the grey interior.
Thanks for the comment!
If the configuration exists on the Hyundai website, then you should be able to factory order it.
I'm waiting 2 years for my Tucson Ultimate PHEV. Ordered July 2022.
Was told maybe July 2024. 🤔
Just keep bugging your dealer.... If they get one, and you happen to call when it's posted, they'll sell it to you.
@edsgarage001 The dealer called to sell me a hev, not a phev. Wrong interior/exterior and trim level. I said I'd wait. I've never seen a Tucson PHEV Ultimate Amazon Grey with light grey interior on the lot & now it will be a 2024 .... AND cost me more. Remember, it was a joy car shopping post covid!
Very good walk through, I would have liked to know the cost of the car and the miles per gallon, but excellent
Cost really depends on your market, and can be found very easily on your local Hyundai website. That's why I don't generally mention price.
It gets a combined 37mpg
I HATE that the rear signal lights are on the bottom. That ruined the purchase of one for me. What an awful design for that
Why?
1. Being that far away from the brake lights reduces the brake lights washing them out
2. You'd need to be less then a half car length behind it to not see them
3. There are also signals on the mirrors
4. Many cars, sedans etc are already that low
5. They're easier to see in the fog from a distance, as fog is generally a couple feet above the ground
I agree you have all that beautiful lighting on the rear of the vehicle, and the brake lights and turn signals only indicate on the bumper, which is very low for some of the big trucks on the road
@@edsgarage001 I disagree
Well... Ok... But I made 5 points that are pretty irrefutable. So, can you apply an argument to your disagreement?
@edsgarage001 for me personally I don't like it. To each their own. I won't buy simply for that reason.
the hybrid isn’t exclusive to the n-line, it also comes available as an SEL, Blue, and Limited. You make it seem as though only the N-Line gets the hybrid which is “the most powerful “. this is incorrect, the N-Line Tuscon is nothing but an appearance package of the Tuscon Hybrid
I don't say that at all.. and I have videos of the others as well.
I point out that the N-line gets the hybrid drivetrain this year, where last year it didn't. So finally, the N-line isn't just an appearance package, but it also gets a little boost in performance over lower priced units.
I'm not trying to sell it over other trim levels, I'm just happy that it's got a bit more power this year.
Awesome!!!
Thanks!!
It has a performance boost? No, actually it has the same engine as a non-N Line Hybrid.
You misunderstood my meaning,
Compared to LAST YEAR'S N-line, it has about 50 more horsepower thanks to the hybrid drive train.
Last year the N-line did not have a hybrid option, and was only the base 2.5l 4 cylinder.
I like the looks of the gen 3 model better.
To each their own
When backing its not beeping when an object near the car. Only for cross traffic alert but no back up sensors beeping
Did I say that somewhere in the video?
I live in the Toronto area. They tell me they can't even get these vehicles in for about a month and a half is that true
The regular hybrids are fairly available now... Try another dealership
Great video. Take my like and sub. Pisses me off Hyundai cheaped out on the seats in the N Line. Cloth? Really? MSRP’s for the exact same cost as a Luxury and has cloth seats. Even the preferred trend has HTex seats. This is essentially a Luxury with some badges on the exterior at the cost of leather seats. Why they didn’t just make it a package upgrade on the Luxury l, like they did with Trend on the preferred is beyond me.
Thanks for the comment!
It's a nice cloth to be honest... Some people prefer it 😕
Is this Canadian spec? Didnt think our (USA) N-Line came with heated steering wheel. Would be nice tho!
Yessir, I'm in Canada
@@edsgarage001 yeah that's what I figured. You guys always seem to get better specs lol. It gets cold down here too! Haha
Not always, but I agree, there are some pretty chilly places in the States. 🙂
So with the 2024 models, the lower trims are getting previous higher trim features?
As things become cheaper to produce, they tend to trickle down
excellent job
Thx!
Does the Tucson have a dash cam and rear collision cam capability.... wish you were in Ontario Canada
Unfortunately, Hyundai doesn't currently have any vehicles that record their cameras for future payback. However, the higher trims generally have full 360 cameras and front and rear autonomous braking.
Thx for the comment!
Sorry I think I missed it, is it wired or wireless apple carplay?
Still wired on units with navigation. However, it seems like Hyundai has finally made an agreement with the needed powers, and that it'll be wireless soon enough with an update
@@edsgarage001 Thank you!
Hi, great video…Question: When I indicate, the screen doesn’t display the selected lane… I purchased the executive model … surely this is an option on all models??? Is there a way to turn this feature on? Thanks yiu
No, only the very top model has it.. so unless you have the cameras on the mirrors, and the 360 camera system, you won't have the blind view monitor.
@@edsgarage001 Strange because I have the executive model, tge one below the N-Line
If it's "below" then it's not strange. Hyundai reserves this system to only the very top model.
I'm in Canada, we don't have anything called "executive" here. But if you go to your countries Hyundai website, then to the Tucson page, I'm assuming they have a downloadable brochure. In the brochure the breakdown of features will generally be towards the last page.
@@edsgarage001 thank you 👌
Does the Tucson automatically come with nitrogen-filled tires from the factory? A dealer was telling me that they sell them all that way but if there is a leak I can the tires with regular air? Then why pay for the nitrogen which is a dealer cost of $200? Can you explain if nitrogen is a better fill for the tires? I've seen the NF tire caps, showing they are filled with nitrogen but was that dealer-installed or factory-installed? I'm confused.
That's an absolute money grab. Nitrogen has basically no benefit in a passenger vehicle. It costs the dealership pennies to do it.
They definitely do not come with nitrogen from the factory.
Yes you can definitely add regular air if you have a leak.
Approximately 76% of earth’s atmosphere is nitrogen. Probably biggest scam around!
Does this trim have the 360 camera?
I most definitely would have pointed out if it did... 😉
But no... That's only in the top trim
@@edsgarage001 Thanks for the quick response! Great presentation, too!
Thx!
Does the Elentra hybrid have wireless android auto ?
Any hyundais that include built in navigation unfortunately only have wired AA.
However, it's an easy thing to add:
ua-cam.com/video/NHf1v-ht_y4/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
True, but this year’s N-Line remains no more powerful than the standard hybrid.
True.... But at least this year's N-line has more power (thx to the hybrid system) than last year's N-line. And that was my point.
In every other model, the N-line has the more power engine (Elantra, Kona) not just looks. So it was nice that they put the more powerful hybrid system in this year's Tucson N-line as well instead of just the base motor.
Can this car park and drive on it’s own
It can't park itself, however it does have adaptive cruise control and lane centering functionality.
I would like to know how much in US dollars this car cost?
According to Hyundai USA website,
MSRP is $36,405
Great review but get a better camera!
Thx for the comment.
The camera is a hassleblad... My lense has some smudge on it.
But what was the issue you noticed?
Does this mean the n line s is now obsolete?
Well, this IS the N-line... so no.
I’m aware this is the N line but are they incorporating it with N line S, hence me asking as no mention is made 😊
@@BerylKendall ah, I missed that...
I'm in Canada, we don't actually have the S here. But the non-hybrid N-line is no more. So maybe that's the same thing. I dunno... I can't confidently answer your question.
Hyundai not having Wireless CarPlay on cars with Navigation isn't an oversite. It was due to a dispute between Apple and Hyundai over Nav System Primacy. To ensure that Hyundai Nav System had primacy; Hyundai requires you to plug the cord in. If you just get in your car with the iPhone in your pocket; the CarPlay won't connect and the Hyundai Nav System has primacy. If they allowed the CarPlay to connect wirelessly; now the CarPlay has primacy on the system. Dumb? Yeah. But that was the reason. Apple and Hyundai have resolved their dispute and the new Nav Systems 2024+ (this one is a carry over) do have Wireless CarPlay.
There's adapters available... Simple fix
I was lucky enough to purchase the 2023 model (7 months ago) before Hyundai made the drastic mistake of changing what was the best dash/screen to this new tacky dash… It looks like a 1960 take of a futuristic space craft! Dreadful!
However, I’ve driven many cars and the Tucson is the best I’ve owned, in fact I purchased the car because of the beautiful sleek integrated dash… I won’t be trading in for this new model next year as it’s a terrible look and idea… It looks like a huge tray for junk to be stored!!!…
These things are subjective... Personally i prefer this
@@edsgarage001 Yes I guess it’s down to personal choice, … As I view it, if all the cars I’ve seen have the screen separately stuck on top which I find is a distraction and messy, with the exception of the 2023 Hyundai just had it nailed with a perfect sleek look and integration, now no different to their competitors… it’s so tacky and cheap looking 🫤
The infotainment screen and instrument cluster screen haven't changed... This layout is the same as the 2023 model... So I'm not sure what you mean tbh
@@edsgarage001 yes I see all features are same in regards to the software etc, however the physical interior design has dramatically changed… It’s gone from a very sleek look to tacky and cheap… Fir instance the dash board is just a big tray for storage … The screen is no longer part of the dash, instead they have it stuck on top… I had was hoping the make the changes to the extort by changing the Bible effect with a nice ling crease …
The one good thing going fir this new model is the recording facility in front
Test drove one of those today, but the turn signals being mounted AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BUMPER(!!) was a Deal Breaker for me, and should be for anyone else.
With the exception of the drivers directly behind you, they’re invisible to everyone else, ESPECIALLY Big Rigs, that can crush you like tin foil.
Too bad, because if it wasn’t for that safety shortcoming, I might have bought it.
I don't get your logic..... How do the lights being lower make them harder to see from a distance?? I know the earth is round, but....
The lights being lower, actually gets them below fog on foggy days so they're more visible from a distance.
Keep in mind, these vehicles have been thoroughly tested by safety agencies and the lights have never been an issue.
If the light level is such an issue, then how come sedans and hatchbacks that have lights at the same level aren't a problem??
@@edsgarage001
They are so low, they aren’t visible in too many situations.
Now that you’re aware of the issue, you won’t be able to not notice it on the road when you see them, and you’ll realize why OTR Truckers (& 4 wheelers as well) HATE THEM.
I've been aware of this "issue" for years.... It's a non issue imo
@@edsgarage001
I’m not trying to be a wise guy, but if you don’t think it’s an issue, you’ve never talked to a trucker about it.
@@peglegjim57 the next trucker I talk to is going to be questioned about it
I guess we don't drive cars anymore we just sit in them and "play" with the electronics ??
Read the title.... "Feature" review... not a drive review.
Besides, almost every car these days drives well.
Yeah who needs a spare tire anyway. N line tucson bahahaha.
