About Me:
Welcome to my channel! In addition to making flipbooks, I am a stop-motion animator and worked on the movies ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings, Missing Link, and Chicken Run Dawn of the Nugget. I fell in love with animation as a kid and have been doing it ever since.

Darn, if that's your worst, I wonder what mine would be
Edit: MAN, HOW DID I GET 450 LIKES??? MY FIRST ANIMATION WAS THE STORY OF A BALL
Trust me bro it would be 1 million times better than mine
Yeah i wonder
I'll have to a look at your work to see
Mine would be worsebivpromise u
I was halfway through making an animation I thought was ok, but it's not even nearly as good as his.
Imagine visiting your loving parents for some flipbooks and leaving pretty much immediatelt afterwards 😂
And doing so repeatedly.
Exactly what I was thinking 😂😂
Ong fr😭
Lol yeah, He definitely had to say hi to his parents behind the scenes.
He flew to a place for like 5 horrible flip books and to spend more money flying again.
I love this, the look in your eye at your older animations / flip books is EVERYTHING to another artist who wants to start up. Especially since I’ve been drawing for years but never wanted to consider doing it on a platform until three years ago. Inspirational. :)
Apart from the fact that they are far from being bad, I love how you care about your early projects and are proud of what you’ve done. A lot of artists underestimate their first creations, but those are the ones who led them to improvement and I can see how you know their importance to you career and life as an artist. Your videos are the best and I admire you a lot!
Thank you 😊
make a video of how to make flipbooks like coloring blending copic markers all that stuff
Amen

The best part about Andy's videos is that he is humble. He is a human. He is real, and it shows. He doesn't superstar people. He is just a guy doing what he loves and it's inspiring.
The gag about the dad hearing something is just so funny 😂😂😂
it is not funny at all you boomer
I am an aspiring animator, every time I watch one of your videos I want to just go and animate something. What you said at the end really resonated with me. Just keep trying every day. That’s what I’ll do. I’ve actually made quite a few stop motions that are on my channel but I really want to do drawing animation. I’m not that good at drawing animation yet. But I gotta keep trying 😁
Thank you for inspiring me!

Thanks Zoe! 👊
Zoe I would recommend using an app called flip a clip as a little beginner tutorial/use for drawing animation once you feel good with it start trying on paper. I've been using it for about a year really helpful.
It was cool to see the old stomping grounds. I remember seeing a few of those old flip books. It’s so cool to see where those took you.
Jonathan! Thanks man
@@andymation 🎉🎉🎉
That was great Andy, a walk down memory lane! I was just scrolling through the video feed and up popped Bob's face.
Thanks Chris! 😃

Dang, you have grown so much since I have last watched you!! I remember finding your channel at 1 million, and loving you videos and they only get better! Keep it up
The flipbooks that you did when you were a kid are so cute. I would love to watch a video with flipbooks done by little kids. They would be so cute.
I haven't watched one of Ur vids in ages, it's good to be back
Hi, Andy. I’m Bob - seriously, that’s my name. I enjoy watching all that you create, and how it has improved over the years. Since I was a young Army Brat, one of my interests has been animation, stop motion, and motion technology. I guess that’s what got me into my career over the last 43+ years - broadcast television engineering. Last year, my wife gave me one of your flip book kits for Christmas. Love it, by the way.
I am interested in what equipment and software you use. Particularly, I want to know about the camera, the stand/holder you use to keep your camera steady, and if you use Premier Pro for creating stop motion.
I’m just a 60-something trying to find a creative outlet.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Bob.
its crazy to see your progress! i love seeing where artists started from! I make animations too, I have a feeling that you might actually like them!!
I’d love to see them
@@andymationLove what you do Andy! You inspired me to animate! It's hard work but it always pay off!
@@andymation Can you try Adobe Animate instead of making flipbooks for your next video?
I love the thumbnail! It’s so funny! Thank you so much for inspiration to make a flipbook! I’m really proud of my flipbook! I might soon buy your flipbook kit also!!!
This is solid proof of just how much you've improved throughout your journey as an animator. It's most certainly something worth being proud of.
Cool, your channel is great, and i love the scene of your dad saying that he heard a noise lol
i love that you show a lot of nostalgic stuff! Keep up the good work!!!!
I don’t know why, but the small portion when he was eating, made me laugh so hard. 😂
If your wondering what the Christmas and Halloween movies are called, their “The light before Christmas” and “Spooky bats and Scardy cats”
You should make a video where you do a stop motion with lego, thats what i do and I think it would be really interesting to see you try it!
This is one of my favourite videos of yours... please consider doing more stop-motion oriented stuff since you never fail to inspire and motivate me (although I'll still continue re-watching your wonderful retrospectives and reflections either way) - wonderful stuff!
I would LOVE to see the worst flip book with 2 new copies.
The first just being remastered on new flip book paper.
The second is showing you add the extra frames in to make it an Andy-2023 piece of work.
Hell, step three, 3d model that ;)
Keep it up! You have all the drawing ability I lack 😂
Bob really needs a comeback some day
Ah, I love seeing your old flipbooks! It’s so interesting to see which type of cards/paper you used to use for making the flipbooks :)
Dude your first armature animation was amazing!
Andyman!! You are sooo great! 8:33 reminded me of this. Bit of background first. I just watched your Wonderfull visit Peter Lord. Delightfull!! He mentioned influences* from outside the UK. And not mentioned was NFB. National Film Board, Canada. (My home) Decades of animation viewable to one and all via their website. Okay, here’s what 8:33 The Fishing Line reminded me about. One of NFB’s short animations had a scene where a little kid was jumping up. The trick used was clear plexiglas blocks stacked taller and taller, elevating the kid. ( * forgot to mention Wind and the Willows animation tv series from Cosgrove&Hall are superb animations )
Andy that was great! When you were working on walking early on I loved the one where he gives up halfway and then exits down stage towards the camera! Just loved it. Guffawed out loud -thank you 🤍⚜️🐚
7:10 "go away with my tippe tayhem."
Andymation. Your flipbooks/stopmotion are the best. You improved ur animations/stopmotion. Im happy for you :D
your dad sounds EXACTLY like dan povenmire
2:37 I like how this flipbook is kinda like the og tik tok adhd videos with the multiple content clips and all 🤣
these animations are so good! youve come a long way good job
I think I recognized some of the stop motion animation stuff... I watched like... a David and Golliath like story... or was it the Jonah one? I forgot.
I love your videos! You have inspired me to do animation and I love it!! ❤
I have a question: How do you animate with figure stand of some sort and get that stand to not show up in the shot?
Haha! Your Pops is so cool. Awesome stuff there, overall. 🤙
Bro flew a whole plane and went on a long drive just to get some flipbooks and immediately leave
Why can't we appreciate that he swallowed the camera twice?
7:58 "da friends! What is this"
DUDE! One of my first flip books was a skateboarder on a half pipe too LOL that's awesome. Love revisiting old stuff from when I was a kid. Looking back in retrospect is both humbling and rewarding of how far we've come.
You inspire me alot
Woah! Thats somcool, I could never animate like you haha. I love your videos keep up the good work!
Wow, it's so cool to see your evolution. Next time, a wee clip of your favourite 😍
You should 100% redo this worst now in another video
Thank you for everything! You have motivated me so much with this video! Thank you
Darn! That’s a pretty good model!
I love your flipbook animations
AND I AGREE! I TRY TO MAKE FLIPBOOKS BUT TRY NOT TO USE CUT OUT PAPER BECAUSEITS HARD TO FLIP! sorry for caps yall
You made this, I remember watching this 10:06
Andy's BACK!!!!
I am in love with your videos keep up the great work
Bro he really flew to get flipbooks.
What a legend
"I thought, wow, what a malicious person who doesn't even appreciate their parents and shows off with them for the video."
Nick robinson goes to japan.
Andymation goes to his parents house.
Bro I love his animation of the stick figures 😂🎉🎉
You should have the Pencil 2, because at the beginning when you went through old flip books there was a pencil one.
Good to See you Back
Dude ur so cool. I think ur animations are very impressive
Thanks!
@@andymation omg! No problem! I’m such a big fan!
Great video! Love to see you upload
Andy I needed a suggestion from u, actually when I make a flipbook I make all the drawings correct , however the paper that I use I cut it by myself and it doesn't work like ur flipbook paper. What should I do?It doesn't go as smooth as ur does.
the fact they have a poster of kubo on the wall makes me smile lol
Your dad is a natural actor
These are all really good. I don't know how you can say any of these are bad. I love them all. I can't do this as an adult. I would have never been able to do any of this as a kid. You are just so good with animation.
Thanks 🙏
What’s with old time converse?
I really want to make flip books and I might be getting your flip book kit😊😊😊OMG thank you for replying 😄😄😄
👍👍
I love you video man..
Do a fighting drawing animation 🙏💕
The Tictok made me chuckle
Missed u dude😊
even his worsts are freaking better than mines
I just got your flip book kit.😊
i love the kubo poster in your parents house
If that was your worst......then it's pretty awesomely done ! ...
Bro put a camera on a chicken 💀
Great to see you're ok
This is a pretty cool job
Love your content keep it up😄👍
You know what I'm good at
Scrolling😢p
I can't even make a circle move around in a flip book...
9:03 get ready with the voice. 😂
Bro that scene😭😭😭 0:35
0:53 when first animation start
its kind of funny u always entertain us
BRO I FELT GOING INSIDE HIS MOUTH JUST ME?
Now you should remake them! Show what you did wrong and how to improve it.
If that's your worst what's the best? it was pretty nice
Andymation, what's the movie's name?
Me thinking that Bob is better animation then I will ever be able to do while Andy keeps criticizing himself on how bad it is.
What hoodie do you wear?
Bro’s worst animation would take me hours to even attempt and would still end up better than my attempts 😭
I'd be happy to do some of your worst work!
Hello it is me Krmal Demon by Khlon
The effort it took just to make this video
props to the cameraman 0:31 and 0:35
You know your good when your worst is early ardman Wallace and grommet
yours is probably better than what I could do!
1:10 your car becomes a plane
Look at that goofy dance
Do you have any idea if those short films you worked on are available on UA-cam?
It’s still good
