I agree. I feel the same way - they remind me of my own family when I was a kid growing up in the 1970s - i don't know if it's just me growing old now - but i agree that something changed here in the U.S. - and families like this that used to be so common - used to be the norm everywhere - seem like they're slowly disappearing. Anyway - I wish you and your family well.
I moved to Southern Oregon from Florida about 5 yrs ago. What a huge difference. I love them both. But Oregon's natural beauty is on another level. It's magical,... EVERYWHERE!
I was born in Astoria, Oregon where the movie The Goonies and Kindergarten Cop was filmed. The coastline is absolutely gorgeous. I’m glad you could enjoy it. ❤
Goonies was filmed in Astoria, OR. There is a little museum and you can go see the house. Welcome to Oregon. It's a beautiful state and lots of things to do outdoors.
Of all the many things there are to see in and around Astoria, the Goonies house is the least important. It doesn't make my list at all. Every time I read something about Astoria, someone mentions the Goonies house. Nobody ever mentions the Flavel mansion. That is an artifact of real history, not a mere movie. Astoria is where the Corps of Discovery (Lewis and Clark) made its winter camp. The Astoria Column was inspired by the Trajan Column of Rome. Astoria has two of the earliest bridges of Conde McCullough. The Maritime Museum is among the best of its category.
From a native Oregonian,I’m so glad you found our beautiful state. My family has been in Oregon for 8 generations and this is our forever home. There is so much natural beauty in our state, not just the coastal area!
@ I am the fifth generation and my great grandson is the eighth. Our family has been on this continent since 1630 when they escaped religious persecution in England and they arrived with the conqueror in 1066 from Normandy. They served every monarch between 1066 and the end of the Tudor period.
When I was a kid we used to go to the coast and when I had children of my own I spent 14 days and we went down highway 101 from Astoria to Crescent City California. My boys have both spent vacations on the coast. I remember not taking our beautiful bridges for granted. I had no idea how blessed we were to have them. They were predominantly designed by a engineer from Oregon State University. I've traveled a lot and never have I seen anything more beautiful
Those dunes were the inspiration for Frank Herbert’s Dune! I’m so happy you guys visited Oregon! I’m an Oregonian. I have been all over the world, but nothing beats the Oregon coast!
Hawaii kinda' trumps most things. What with snorkeling, et al... But, yes, I love Oregon's diversity, coastline, forests, deserts, mountains, rivers, etc.
What a great treat to see your family enjoy this so much! Oregon has so much natural beauty to soak in! Fun to watch you drive across our Isaac Lee Patterson Bridge (also known as The Rogue River Bridge) in Gold Beach (proud residents!). The bridge was opened in 1932. Safe travels onward!
I don't know how many times in this series I've heard "This, that or the other scene is absolutely amazing!" when I bet that you have scenery in New Zealand that's equally as beautiful, if not moreso, but you're just more used to it on your home turf. That's why, I think, we love seeing your reactions so much. Because it wakes up something that we've taken for granted, living here.
During the depression, there was a nationwide program called the Works Progress Administration (WPA). They funded infrastructure development projects to combat unemployment, and made extra effort to include artists and sculptors. Often when you see an ornate bridge, especially in the Art Deco style, it's a WPA bridge.
Welcome to Oregon. - here are 10 things to do: 1) Giant Obsidian Flow - Paulina Peak near Bend - walk through 6 foot high blocks of volcanic glass - nowhere but Oregon 2) Tillamook Creamery - on the coast - great fresh ice cream and "squeaky cheese" 3) Crater Lake - Southern Oregon - formed almost 8,000 years ago when an enormous volcano exploded. 4) Haystack Rock (at low tide) - Seaside - see Starfish, Puffins, Eagles (maybe), and if you are really lucky Nudibranch (sea slugs - they are gorgeous) 5) Silver Falls - in Silverton (east of Salem) - a gorge with 10 waterfalls, several you can walk behind 6) Portland (of course) - Powell's Bookstore is the largest bookstore in the USA, maybe the world. Also Voodoo Donuts and the Keep Portland Weird sign. 7) The Columbia Gorge - Vista House and the waterfalls - there are 80 named waterfalls, 12 are easy to reach and Multnomah Falls is a must. 8) Go to visit a Winery - there are over 200 of them in the Willamette Valley. 9) Timberline on Mt Hood.- 90 year old ski lodge, has snow 365 days of the year and year round skiing. 10) Gravity Falls - it is here somewhere - ask Dipper or Mabel.
You actually pronounced the name correctly! My Family has been in the state since the 1870s. Shore pine (lodgepole pine) on the coast. Basalt laval flows are the rocks which origonated from John Day. That is a Douglas-fir on the license plate, the State tree. Dont forget the Columbia River Gorge and the Eastern Oregon High Desert.
You won't see this I'm sure but I am happy you found my state a beautiful place to travel. We have everything here. Where i live you can drive an hour in any direction and be in a completely different type of area coast mountains desert valley gorge.🎉
I was stationed at Kingsley AFB in Klamath Falls, Oregon in the 70's and one of my lasting memories was seeing Crater Lake...It was formed almost 8,000 yrs ago, when a violent volcanic eruption, caused the top of the volcano to callapse into itself creating the deepest lake in America(1,950ft) and one of the most beautiful wonders in the world!
Yeah we do! ^_^ My parents were avid waterfall-ers, so we saw a goodly portion of them growing up. from Multnomah to all the ones in the gorge, Steamboat falls down near Roseburg, and all places in between. It's kind of amazing how many waterfalls we have, and how much we take them for granted... Used to go swimming at Little Falls on Steamboat Creek every summer with the family and occasionally friends. Great place to go camp & swim. There's a campground right down the road from it.
I’m an Oregonian. Once I stayed at a B&B in London where a couple from NZ was also staying. They said they had been to Oregon and found it beautiful, much like their homeland. I haven’t been to NZ yet but have always felt a little connected since that couple said they thought we had the same kind of natural beauty as New Zealand. ❤
I’ve lived in Oregon for most of my life and in my opinion it’s the best and most beautiful state in these United States. Crater lake, beautiful beaches, Columbia river gorge and so much more.
Funny, I always tell everyone you need to drive the Oregon coast headed south to hit all the turn-outs and 78 state parks with right hand turns . I've been in Oregon for the past 24 years and love the endless beauty. It's a Douglas Fir tree on the Oregon license plate.
NO, I MISSED YOU GUYS!!!!! I have grown up in Oregon my whole life and would have loved to show you around!!!!! I am so glad you guys ACTUALLY wanted to come here!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤ 7:39 Welcome to Oregon!!!!!! Glad you came!!!!! Come back soon!!!!!
A day that it isn't windy on the coast is a rare day. My go to outfit for the coast is a hoody, shorts and bare feet on the beach. I always have to get my feet into the ocean at least once. I always take for granted how beautiful Oregon is until I see it through someone else's eyes.
My home state is one of the most beautiful states. The Oregon coast is one of the most beautiful coasts. I could be partial since I'm a native web foot. Welcome to my favorite state hope you enjoy it.
Were they deer or elk? We have large herds on the coast. I might be prejudice but I think Oregon has the most beautiful coast scenery. Born in Oregon and always enjoy the view driving 101
It’s so fun to see someone being so excited to tour our amazing coastline. It never gets old. Enjoyed this vlog. Also your music is fantastic. Drive safe.
I always found the drive from Portland, Oregon through to Bend and then down to Crater Lake to be one of the most spectacular, diverse, and underrated journeys in the entire country. Seems like you see just about every biome imaginable from stunning alpine peaks to lava-ridden deserts.
You and your family are getting to take the trips of a lifetime around the US, a lot of us Americans who will never get to do this on our own are getting to go on the trip with your family! I really do love your videos and getting going out with y'all. Greetings from East Texas. 🤠
Yay! I've been waiting for this video. I've lived in Oregon for most of my life, so I'm glad you got to experience it. Driving the coast was absolutely the right decision. Oregon has some stunningly beautiful forests, but after you've seen the California Redwoods it doesn't quite hit you in the same way. But the Oregon coast is breathtaking. It's actually a bit ironic that you're loving the Oregon scenery so much. I remember watching fantasy movies as a kid with the family, and every time they showed a beautiful forest scene, we would always say, "looks like Oregon!" Then we would check the ending credits, and it would usually say, "filmed in New Zealand." (and this was decades before Lord of the Rings) Eventually we started saying, "looks like Oregon! Must be New Zealand." And we were right more often than not.
I don't know how delayed your uploads are but if you are still in Oregon consider jumping over to Crater Lake. It's the crater remnants of a super-volcano that blew itself to bits and is the deepest lake in North America -- deeper even than Lake Superior. And while there, don't miss the hollow fossilized fumaroles. They are the remnants of old steam vents that turned the volcanic ash surrounding the vents to volcanic glass. There are dozens of them, large enough to swallow your motorhome, eroding out of a hillside . . . iirc somewhere around the SE rim. Another gem, that is quite a trek into the interior, are the "Painted Hills". They are in the N. Central part of the State near the John Day Fossil Beds. The down-side to both of these are that you have to trek through a lot of rather un-spectacular desert to get to them, then get back from them to more scenic areas. The coast will give you spectacular views almost non-stop. But the real gems take a lot more work and fuel to get to. I wish there was a way to contact you. I'm both a trucker and a trekking photographer and could give you a LOT of hidden gems all over the place -- and pictures for you to assess if they are going to be worth the trek in to see them. A lot more is just handed to you on the coastal drive -- but I REALLY hope you get to see some of the fabulous spots inland. Places like Yellowstone, Devil's Monument, South Dakota's Black Hills and fabulous BadLands.
The drive up the coast, or down, from Northern California to to Northern Washington is the most beautiful drive in the world. At least in my opinion, and I've been lots of places.
That was a good ole C-130, 4-Propeller Cargo plane, that I have worked on for the past 17 years, I know that silhouette anywhere. Without major detail, they are doing low levels over the terrain, which make most people sick that are riding in the back but amazing views. Almost like they were waving at ya'll doing their banked turn, crazy feeling when you're riding in one.
I live on SoCal and I love our California coastline, but the Oregon coast has a majestic beauty that has to be seen in person to really realize it's beauty. Been a long time since I've been there, thank you for reminding me.
same! Now that we are older, there's no more hiking and mountain biking. We have limited funds, a few disabilities, and traveling to the coast or to the mountains/Portland are out of our ability - doesn't matter who drives. Heck it's tough getting to Medford or Salem. So these videos @YourNewZealandFamily - are much appreciated. We honeymooned at Gold Beach, our favorite middle of the winter spot (it is off season thus less expensive, was that is, 20 yrs ago).
I follow a chimpanzee sanctuary in WA, and they had a lone female who attached herself to their land. She used to accompany them on walks when they walked the perimeter of the two and a half acre enclosure with the dominant female several times a day, (because she likes company on her patrols). The elk would just follow along with them. So they called her Ellie. Eventually, they had to relocate her. The directors live on the premises, and sometimes her face would just appear in the window! 😅Then she started trying to open doors, and they knew it was time. 😅DEM tried to relocate her with a herd but it didn't take. So she went to a local zoo and is in a small group and happy
I am an eighth generation Oregonian. My dad's family were early settlers on the Oregon Coast, just outside of Florence. In fact, my grandparents were forest service fire lookouts in the Coast Range. I am excited to watch your family experience the beauty of Oregon.
The East side of Oregon differs from the West. Looking forward to see what you all do and see in Oregon. The 'Goonies' house was bought not too long ago by a couple wanting to preserve it and possibly allow tours. Not sure where they are at with those plans though. Oh, it is all the way North on the coast in Astoria, OR. Along the way, on the coast is Sea Lions Cave, Devil's Punch Bowl, and Agate Beach...and more. Try *Mo's Seafood & Chowder* in Lincoln City. Inland there's Oregon Caves, Crater Lake Nat'l Park, Multnomah Falls, and Smith Rock State Park...and more. Eastern Oregon is vast but beautiful.
high desert like conditions, hot springs, lava rock formations. Very mars like. Travelled along those routes during a snow blizzard, can't say it was much fun ha! High adrenaline for sure!
Man, you guys have not been disappointing with these RV videos. I've loved every one of them. I'm sure you've thought about it, but how cool is it you'll have these to look back on all your lives.

I just went to Oregon for the first time in August, I took my Grandma to drive the coast. It is my absolute favorite state so far, just absolutely gorgeous. That bridge you passed over @ 15:39 , there is a Jet Boat place on the South side that will take you up that river through the river rapids, really fun, the kids would have loved it. So glad you guys enjoyed your trip.
Why do I love this family so much….totally want to take that boy to a chiefs bengals game and bake some cornbread with that young lady! Also let mom and pops take my boat out on lake of the ozarks;) I’m so happy to see these people enjoying our country.
I'm glad you left this because I was going to leave them a note if no one else said it that they stay together in a herd for protection since they don't have much else to defend themselves with. One will always watch out while the others graze. I'm on an island on the east coast and I have seen deer crossing from the marsh over toward the beach. Don't know why, but I also saw cows on the beach in Ireland and never expected that. Maybe they eat the seaweed for the salt
@@LindaC616 in Grants Pass they tend to wander close to cows for security and sometimes they get emotionally entangled - that is frowned upon because of possible injuries to the cows, tho enamored elk & cows is very rare.
@ClaireOSullivanAuthor I have heard of such stories with moose, as well.😄 I follow a chimpanzee sanctuary in Washington, and they had an elk who attached herself to their land. Whenever they did a perimeter walk or Patrol with the dominant female chimp, Ellie would attach herself to the group and walk with them. She occasionally partook of anything they gave the four rescued cattle that they had, as well as the grass or the fruit trees. The directors live on site, and they started to think they needed to rehome her when her face occasionally popped up in the window. 😆 they tried to locate her with a local heard, but she didn't want to be a part of that group. She found her way back, and then she started trying to open doors!😄 They wound up doing some work with d e m to locate her to a local zoo, where she is part of a small group and seems to be happy
I’ve been binging your videos for the last hour, you’re in my state (Oregon) and I welcome you here. It’s cool to see through someone else’s eyes who’s experiencing Oregon for the first time. It’s an amazing state and I know you’re going to love it. You have a lovely family and I hope your adventures are safe and plentiful.
Welcome to Oregon. My home state. I loved when I visit my home town, and the old hospital where I was born. There are usually deer grazing on the lawn.
I live in Oregon. I can look out my front window and see the eagles fishing for salmon in the Columbia River. In the distance I can see Mt. St. Helens. Every time that silly mountain burps I get covered in ash.....
In the opening scene from Oregon, I half expected to see Robin Hood and his band of merry men camping out. Or even Bambi, Thumper and their friends. Lol That is what you call some magical scenery.
Here in the south (NC) we love tomato sandwiches with mayonnaise(usually Duke's) with just mayo , sliced tomatoes ( firm & really red), salt & pepper on usually white sandwich bread or whatever u like. With sweet iced tea with lemon or a Pepsi or Coke with lots of ice. Or we go all out & have a BLT- bacon, lettuce & tomato with mayo & a little Chipotle Aioli if I have any. So good, made on a fresh bagel they're good too. 🍅🍞🥓🥬🍅🥯🍞🥖🥐🥪💜
Bagels aren't hard to make at home. Only specialty ingredient you need is Barley Malt syrup (can use honey in a pinch.) Everything bagel seasoning is just flake salt, sesame seeds (black and white), poppy seeds, dried minced onions and garlic. You boil your bagel in water with the barley malt (a.k.a. the Love) before you bake them. It's what gives them chewy texture. Aside from pizza, they're my most often made baked good at home.
Beauty! My parents own a ranch near Eugene - I go out there quite often. Always stunned by the amount of trees, green, fog, rain etc. My dad always says "people from California move to Oregon in the Summer, then move out in the Winter" because of the rain 😂 - another great video! edit: I used to live in Oregon as a kid, and I remember an Elk herd of around... 20-30 wandered around our neighborhood and county. One morning I woke up and looked out the back window and saw 20 Elk in our yard, just chilling, eating etc. It's a core memory I have as a child.
Welcome to The Pacific Northwest 🙂 So just a heads up I think I might have seen some “Nettles” in your video. It’s a green leafy plant that stings. It leaves white itchy bumps. If you get stung just rub the bottom part of a fern leaf on it and it’ll take away the sting. Fern leaves have that reddish brown bumps on the bottom🙂
Now you guy's are entering my home state. Oregon has such diverse topography you guys are in for a real treat. I hope you get a chance to see Crater lake, the high desert or the great Colombia River. Luv u guys and ur videos.😊
My family lives in Florence OR. I love driving down to visit them. There is a rest stop I enjoy stopping at about 45 minutes after the landscape transitions from fields to forests. The air smells SO GOOD there and just gets better the closer you get to the ocean.
I was born and raised in the California Redwoods. The Oregon coast and the whole state is so beautiful. You are so fortunate to be able to travel to so many awesome places. Enjoy every minute of our amazing country. I feel so blessed to call it mine.
Too bad you didn’t know about the Rogue River when you crossed it. It is one of the few rivers in the US that is completely protected from development. From the coast you can go on a jet boat tour that leaves in the morning and takes a few hours to go about 50 miles up the river. You will see nothing but the beautiful river and wildlife. You stop at a dock and take a short walk up the hill and are fed lunch. After lunch you get back in the boat and zoom back down the river to the coast at high speed. Awesome trip.

Also 8th generation Oregonian enjoy your visit!
BTW it’s only been a state since 1859; the first 5 generations must have been real natives
- here are 10 things to do:
1) Giant Obsidian Flow - Paulina Peak near Bend - walk through 6 foot high blocks of volcanic glass - nowhere but Oregon
2) Tillamook Creamery - on the coast - great fresh ice cream and "squeaky cheese"
3) Crater Lake - Southern Oregon - formed almost 8,000 years ago when an enormous volcano exploded.
4) Haystack Rock (at low tide) - Seaside - see Starfish, Puffins, Eagles (maybe), and if you are really lucky Nudibranch (sea slugs - they are gorgeous)
5) Silver Falls - in Silverton (east of Salem) - a gorge with 10 waterfalls, several you can walk behind
6) Portland (of course) - Powell's Bookstore is the largest bookstore in the USA, maybe the world.
Frank Herbert spent time at the Oregon dunes and it became the inspiration for the planet Arrakis in his Dune novels.
You won't see this I'm sure but I am happy you found my state a beautiful place to travel. We have everything here. Where i live you can drive an hour in any direction and be in a completely different type of area coast mountains desert valley gorge.🎉
Welcome to Oregon! Im so glad you are loving my home state! Oregon has so much to offer.
It’s so surreal to see the McCullough bridge in North Bend on a UA-cam Vlog. I’m so happy you thought my little home was cool!
When I brought my friends to Oregon, they couldn't believe all the different colors of green. Oregon is a gorgeous state.
I loved visiting Oregon they have some beautiful waterfalls.
Yeah we do! ^_^
My parents were avid waterfall-ers, so we saw a goodly portion of them growing up. from Multnomah to all the ones in the gorge, Steamboat falls down near Roseburg, and all places in between. It's kind of amazing how many waterfalls we have, and how much we take them for granted...
Used to go swimming at Little Falls on Steamboat Creek every summer with the family and occasionally friends. Great place to go camp & swim. There's a campground right down the road from it.
I love that after watching you guys for so long, you’ve all finally made it to my dear home Oregon. Welcome to heaven my friends 🇺🇸 🌲 🌊 🌅 🏔️
💛💛I was Born & Raised in Eugene, Oregon. Im always glad to see people experience it for the first time.💛💛
Me too! 💛💚💛💚
One of the best things about my trips to the UK was meeting fellow travelers from other parts of the world.
Love that y'all visited Oregon! I've called it home for most of my life, very underrated state.
Politics ruined Oregon and Cali.
@@Cameron-ls3qtI think they’re fine actually, it’s your mind that’s been ruined unfortunately.
@word42069 ya the rampant drug use and extreme homelessness is a me problem 🤣🤣 okay bud
@@Cameron-ls3qt Maybe think about why you felt the need to bring negativity here? Not everything needs to be political.
@@cloudsn unless of course, it is.
I am so glad you guys ACTUALLY wanted to come here!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
7:39 Welcome to Oregon!!!!!! Glad you came!!!!! Come back soon!!!!!
Backtracking to see it all. You NZs are legit into it. Love it.
A day that it isn't windy on the coast is a rare day. My go to outfit for the coast is a hoody, shorts and bare feet on the beach. I always have to get my feet into the ocean at least once. I always take for granted how beautiful Oregon is until I see it through someone else's eyes.
I like the way you keep throwing these little "surprise nuggets" at your family Sam. Keep 'em on their toes!
Did an Oregon road trip in May and I have to say it is the most beautiful state in the continental U.S.
Can't believe how good this turned out!
Sam has become a great editor
It’s so fun to see someone being so excited to tour our amazing coastline. It never gets old. Enjoyed this vlog. Also your music is fantastic. Drive safe.
I always found the drive from Portland, Oregon through to Bend and then down to Crater Lake to be one of the most spectacular, diverse, and underrated journeys in the entire country. Seems like you see just about every biome imaginable from stunning alpine peaks to lava-ridden deserts.
You’re the second channel that has reacted to Oregon and made me think that I take the natural beauty of this place for granted.
You and your family are getting to take the trips of a lifetime around the US, a lot of us Americans who will never get to do this on our own are getting to go on the trip with your family!
I really do love your videos and getting going out with y'all. Greetings from East Texas. 🤠
You got the absolute best possible weather for an Oregon beach day. I really love my home state!
I remember watching fantasy movies as a kid with the family, and every time they showed a beautiful forest scene, we would always say, "looks like Oregon!" Then we would check the ending credits, and it would usually say, "filmed in New Zealand." (and this was decades before Lord of the Rings)
Eventually we started saying, "looks like Oregon!
Oregon native here - I’m glad you and the family got to see our beautiful State!
The drive up the coast, or down, from Northern California to to Northern Washington is the most beautiful drive in the world. At least in my opinion, and I've been lots of places.
I'm so happy that you seem to be without any disappointments. I hope your time in the Pacific Northwest was totally fantastic.
Thank You for allowing me to ride on your coat tails while you go through the States. I very much enjoy these videos.
Those deer, were actually elk. They are all over up that way. Sometimes on the roads, too.
Welcome to Oregon. Perfect mix of modern and rugged wilderness. Loved here since 97 and no plans on ever leaving.
Goonies house episode is coming up soon. Someone let them up on the property and let them inside.
high desert like conditions, hot springs, lava rock formations. Very mars like. Travelled along those routes during a snow blizzard, can't say it was much fun ha! High adrenaline for sure!
There's a Mo's in Florence, 2 in Newport, Otter Rock, Lincoln City, and Cannon Beach.
Lived in Oregon my entire 65 years. I’ve visited lots of places, but Oregon is hard to beat with its diverse ecosystems.
Hello from just north of you, in Washington...also hard to beat. :)
@@jaredcaines6688 been there a few times 😊
@ I will say…nothing beats the Oregon Coast. Absolutely stunning.
Man, you guys have not been disappointing with these RV videos. I've loved every one of them. I'm sure you've thought about it, but how cool is it you'll have these to look back on all your lives.
I was just listening to a couple in England this morning saying that people these days don't do photo albums anymore, and that these videos are sort of like their family albums
@@LindaC616 ... Makes sense to me. I wish I had videos of times I was with my parents, but all I have are photos.
Otis Redding wow amazing you would know that song! 🎶 good on yah Canada 🇨🇦 watching. Oregon is my favourite have salt water taffy while your there
I just went to Oregon for the first time in August, I took my Grandma to drive the coast. It is my absolute favorite state so far, just absolutely gorgeous. That bridge you passed over @ 15:39 , there is a Jet Boat place on the South side that will take you up that river through the river rapids, really fun, the kids would have loved it. So glad you guys enjoyed your trip.
That's what I thought the surprise was.
it used to be the Rogue River Mail boat go up there -- now you can start at Riverside Park in GP and take the jet boats down, too.
Why do I love this family so much….totally want to take that boy to a chiefs bengals game and bake some cornbread with that young lady!
Also let mom and pops take my boat out on lake of the ozarks;)
I’m so happy to see these people enjoying our country.
Oregon is beautiful, Oregonians are awesome, I miss OR
Once again, you and your family have made a priceless video that contains a lot of something for everybody! Looooove it!❤❤❤❤
The big group you saw on the beach were probably elk, too. They do gather in larger herds than deer.
Heh, I just responded the same. I first saw Elk up on a drive through the Oregon coast, they're SO magnificent and HUGE herds.
@@LindaC616 in Grants Pass they tend to wander close to cows for security and sometimes they get emotionally entangled - that is frowned upon because of possible injuries to the cows, tho enamored elk & cows is very rare.
@ClaireOSullivanAuthor I have heard of such stories with moose, as well.😄
I follow a chimpanzee sanctuary in Washington, and they had an elk who attached herself to their land.
I'm glad you left this, I just left on the same note about being able to duplicate the seasoning at home
No sales tax Is my favorite thing about oregon. I live about 25 minutes north of Oregon in washington and go down to make my more expensive purchases.
Someone sure took theiir time when creating the Oregon Coast. God is good!
Literally just volcanoes, time and erosion, etc. Lovely nonetheless, agreed!
All the Time!
Great tour! I'm glad you went back down the coast. Excellent scenery all along the coast it keeps getting prettier and more rugged 😊
That is so familiar!! Used to drive from Eureka Ca to Vancouver WA every couple weeks.
Also, thank you for pronouncing Oregon correctly.
IKR?! first folds outside of the US and the majority of the states - hardly anyone pronounces it correctly. I applaud them for doing so!
I was born and raised in the California Redwoods. The Oregon coast and the whole state is so beautiful. You are so fortunate to be able to travel to so many awesome places. Enjoy every minute of our amazing country. I feel so blessed to call it mine.
Sam your drone work is fabulous. Great shots.
The best crab on planet earth.
I know not everyone loves shellfish, but if you don’t and you’re in Oregon…
That’s just a tragedy.
Gorgeous scenery! I'm so glad you are enjoying God's beautiful creation and that you're sharing it with us! God bless you!
OMG! I'm so happy that you were enjoying my neck of the woods! I can't wait to see your travels through the state I call home. One day, I would love to go to New Zealand to marvel at your beautiful country. Just by pictures alone, I know NZ will be breathtaking. 😊
THANK YOU! The past few months have been so stressful politically here. Watching the view of our country through your families’ eyes has really helped me through it! A wonderful reminder of what we’re fighting for and how lucky we are to have been born here, or have come to live here! 😍
I’ve lived in 14 states but Oregon is definitely my favorite! You could easily spend a month and not see everything.
The Astoria bridge, where The Goonies was filmed,is probably the most famous bridge in Oregon. And super fun to drive over.
So happy you guys are loving one of my favorite states!
I thought so! As soon as they crossed over into Oregon and there were some shots of the coast, I was like this has to be somewhere on the same coast that The Goonies was filmed! One of my favourite movies of all time!
