$3200.00 Bucket of Dirt? Gold Nuggets! Oh Ya!

- Check out this incredible GOLD I pulled out of this paydirt bucket.. This custom Nugget Bucket was made to order from one of B.C.'s top Paydirt sellers, Eurika Gold Sands. He promised an 80% ROI and delivered. Gold panning pay dirt can be very fun. Seeing and holding these huge gold nuggets quite the experience. Panning paydirt is not the same as prospecting for gold, but for some it might be the only way to find great gold. This is the largest bag or bucket of pay dirt I have reviewed. Paydirt reviews are not really my thing. But I don't mind doing the odd paydirt review. Specially for the local gold suppliers. This is the most fun you will ever have with a bucket of dirt.

I have sent a few of your pay dirt bags to my father since his heart attack. It gives him something to do that he always loved to do. Plus he gets excited every time he looks at what is in the pay dirt. It's therapeutic for him. Thank you Mr. Hurd.
Send him another one! 🥰

As a rockhound, and stoner, that guy is running my dream business!
I'm neither these days but I for a lovely day out, being by a beautiful, rock filled, mountain fed river, fossicking for geologically interesting items (if not financially so), would've been my
idea of a great day out in my mid twenties, after having been up to my plot and having a few buds in my tin. I look at those beautiful mountain streams in this video, and I feel so sad for our wonderful planet, when it is left in the hands of (predominantly) greedy men who pretend they want to save the world but really don't give a shit.
@@SueMead as someone says on a channel based around pillaging the earth for its minerals. As well as you having said you would as well lol
One time in elementary school we did a field trip to a mine, they gave us some salted pans to play with... i took about a quarter ounce I had panned over the summer and secretly added it.... ill never forget the look on the faces of the mine employees when they saw my pan.
I'll bet they about fainted, looking at each other, knowing they had screwed up.

Was you in a band by any chance ???
Results seen in this video are absolutely not typical - I honestly believe they fixed him a very special bucket. Even though he didn't recover what he spent, I've never seen a bucket yield that much gold.
My thoughts as well never seen such a bountiful bucket of dirt
The guy at the store did say they prepared it for him at the beginning of the video.
He said the dude guaranteed 80% return on what he payed.. still spending $500 usd to play in dirt seems not worth it
Ofcourse. Its called an advertisement video.
He made more on the 1million views. 1million views pays minimum $8,000-$15,000. Without ads
for me having someone plant gold in the paydirt takes out all the fun

We went digging for gems in WV and my nine year old son fell in love. Got him a bucket of pay dirt for his birthday and he had a blast. He was so excited to find the gold. He watched one of your videos to learn how to pan. So thanks!! And good luck
Take him out! That'd be like a kid liking fishing so you buy him a goldfish in a bucket and a fishing rod. Torture! :P
I think this right here is the best use of a nugget bucket. Gifting it to someone learning, especially if younger, and watching the excitement.

Keyword “custom” guys. Just watched some other guy get burned for a thousand bucks buying anonymous. I personally do not see any fun in this whatsoever
Most gold diggers (like they guy that anonymously bought the 2500 bucket) would travel to Alaska and only get 3 -3000 oz of gold for the same price, this is more as a practice or a hobby

This video is a perfect example of what Mr. Guitars was saying. He uses a third party buyer because he doesn't want the favoritism. I am happy to have seen that exact happening caught on digital and preserved forever on the internet.
He clearly said it was a custom bucket and for fun.
We love your channel Dan, it's always exciting to watch and learn from. My wife calls you professor Dan, you remind her of a college professor many years ago. What we feel about a container of paydirt, it's an excellent idea, lots of fun and an exciting learning experience, preparing you for when you actually get out there in the field of prospecting.👍

thanks for the honest view of this paydirt! theres a lot of b.s. out there, and its really good to see honesty, no glitz and glam. just facts about what paydirt is and how to approach it.
Great video. I love paydirt and panning for gold with the right vendors you get most of your money back, I think it’s worth the money for all the fun you get. Totally worth it in my book!
I love watching pay dirt videos.
Give it 5 years and this will be an investment, bit like playing the pokies at the moment but at least you get a free bucket. 🤣
Pay dirt can be a great learning aid but I would much rather see the gold come out of the ground. Nothing beats the experience of finding it your self in the great outdoors. ;)

That’s what I like about you Dan, straight up facts and the Blount truth, like it or not. You are spot on about pay dirt and it’s just not going to pay more than you pay for it but it can be a lot of fun if you want to over pay for the experience and fun it is to get some.
I wish people knew that almost anywhere the live there could be gold right out in their back yard or if not maybe just a couple of hours away and buying a $30 gold panning kit and getting out there and panning is the most fun they will ever have in their life if they are interested in this type of stuff.
🙃
As a recently retired science teacher it would have been fun to do this for my classroom. I taught all hands on science to at risk students with behavioral issues. These were all inner city kids and it was always amazing how they became excited about learning. When they first came to us the system had failed them and then spit them out. They hated school (couldn’t blame them) so it was so rewarding to teach to mastery as my philosophy was that education should be taught as exploration. I think this is why I have enjoyed your videos so much. Thank you.
The comments are almost as entertaining as the video.😂 Thanks for doing something most would Love to try but can’t afford. Beautiful Gold. 80% guarantee is fantastic!

So this is like someone catching fish, selling them to a store, then the store putting the fish in a barrel, and selling it for people to fish in?
Nailed it brother 👊👊👊
Hahaha precisely
When I was a kid (7?, 8?), my dad took us on a vacation trip to the mountains. Everyone fished the streams, but I didn't catch anything. So my dad took me to a stocked private pond. The guy baited my hook, and told me to jig my cane pole up and down so the hook just touched the surface of the water. After about 10 seconds, a 3 lb trout hit my line, and I "caught" my first Rainbow Trout.
This Bucket-O-Gold is like that.

I think you're cool. I appreciate your comments before you opened it saying it won't be profitable. To me I would rather see you struggle for fine gold then to pay for nuggets put in dirt
As a kid I used to dream that I was a ‘49er panning for gold. One way of copping with this virus isolation gave me a new hobby with pay dirt! I know it’s not to get rich, but after 5 bags, I’m getting fair panning skills and not dropping everything on the carpet! (🤪 My first bag had several decent flakes and one picker, I lost it all when I turned over my hand holding the uncapped bottle. If there was more than a couple of dollars worth, I’d follow your assaying video and cut a hole in the carpet!) I am disabled and cannot get out into nature right now so a bag at a time and lots of UA-cam videos is really fun. Thank you for all you do!
Interesting time Dan, plus learned a bit just watching. Thanks so much !!!!
I used to help Gino with his website. He is a good guy. Neat to see ya visit him in person. He is pretty smart about mining too!
While reading all these comments, there is one "X-Factor" no one is talking about. That being your initial cost in a Paydirt bag/bucket versus the cost to go find that same amount for yourself out of the land. You've got gas, food, lodging, clothing, equipment and other misc items. The old adage when it comes to finding Gold is akin to spending a dollar to find just .05 cents of Gold. A lot of effort without the R.O.I. So in some cases, doing Paydirt in the comfort of your 'abode' could be about the same (cost wise) as looking for it out in the Wild. I think for a number of people that don't do any form of mining should consider practicing with the small packs of paydirt and then practice again and again and again till you don't lose any of the fine stuff. The cost for some of the small packages would equate (value-wise) pretty much the same as the cost of filling up your Gas-tank to go find the gold.
iv been saying this for years to old now so if i want to pan and see gold today buy some pay dirt .
Thanks Dan, pay dirt is not going to make you money but if you count how many times I’ve spent the day at a creek or detecting in the bush and came home with much less gold than it cost me to find it, then pay dirt is an effective way to boost your tally and revive the need to go and find more! Keep doing what you do Dan. It’s GREAT!
I uses to collect rocks all of the time. Thanks for taking me back for a while.

Thanks for this Dan. Super interesting. If I can do it I am hoping to try panning and rockhounding in BC next summer. On the North Saskatchewan River in Alberta the largest gold have ever panned was.small flakes. Usually it is just powder. I have never had the chance to pan for nuggets. This is definitely on my bucket list. I have never really taken the concept of paydirt seriously and now I know that I wasn't wrong. Thanks again and keep on prospecting.

@huckfinnsj - I have heard before, that Oregon is a great state to pan. You got to do, what a lot of people don't get to do. That is part of the reason why paydirt bags/buckets are popular.

Step 1: Open a pawn shop.
Step 2: Profit.
Step 3 make a UA-cam channel about it

Its gonna sit on the shelf ive loads of over heads and im taking all the risk
This. I've always said that the real money in gold is in buying it from idiots wasting their time working six hours or more a day for ten bucks worth of profit and selling it to rich women in cities. Also gold prospecting equipment. I've made 2 wash plants, one man portable one on a trailer. I then sold them immediately without ever getting to test them in the wild for a ridiculous amount of money (the only thing close was when I built a $5k motorcycle and sold it for $25k when done - something I could repeat all day long but don't because I'm a moron) mostly because I used PVC and plastics and heat welding to assemble it making it far lighter in weight and passing several laws in Australia on machinery.
A high banker sells for $1k+, yet has about $60 worth of parts to it, and I sold it for half market price. You can't tell me that's not a ridiculous scam. I actually felt dirty selling the above three machines I mentioned, I cannot morally do it. I feel like I'm a mugger or something because I know it's NOT worth that. Idk how companies like Gold Hog and Keene etc sleep at night. That's why I stick with my day job.
But you're correct; the real money isn't in finding gold it's in exploiting the addiction. Just like art, or all the dolphin trainer ambitions young women have; the real money in art is selling art supplies, the real money in authoring is selling book publishing, the real money in music is paid distribution, the real money in modelling is banging hot chicks on the casting couch, uh, I mean selling them headshots for $50 a photo, etc, etc.
Geno is an honest guy, he also runs a pawn shop lol 😂 I never trust anyone named Geno...
And I never trust a pawn shop owner.
Above all else, NEVER trust a guy named Gino, who happens to own a pawn shop!
Geno has a cousin named Vinney. Vinney is in the used automotive audio equipment business.Vinney also has slightly used wheels and tires for sale.
Camera cuts when Dan goes into the HEAD SHOP👍😎🌲
It videos like this that make me want to buy a small nugget bucket just so I can try panning for gold, I know I’ll lose money but it’s all about how much fun you can have with your money
I am a bit confused. If the whole point of panning paydirt is to train yourself to be a better panner, then you should start with a known quantity of gold at different sizes to then compare how well you did in your recovery. Hopefully you are 100%, but you sure will be better then 80%. If you can't find at least 80% of the gold in a bucket, then you need to keep practicing.
So if I put $3200 into buying a number of different nuggets and fines, assuming I can find all my gold in the bucket, I now have an essentially free learning tool, which I can reuse as many times as I need in any different condition I want to simulate. I have saved myself $600 that can be used for fuel or equipment. That sounds, to me, like a more sound business decision for your hobbie.
What am I missing here that is worth $600?
Correct
Pay dirt is more for funny and you can also buy paydirt from areas that have gold so you can see if there is enough gold worth to go to where it was collected and pan there outside in the wild
He's making more than that on this youtube video, assuming he gets 1m views, the video will have paid for the bucket itself

Awesome as a gift. I would not spend my hard earned cash on it
Come to Australia 🇦🇺 mainly Western Australia go metal/gold detecting and if you look in the right spots you’ll for sure find a lot of gold
just as much gold in victoria!
I've been wary of purchasing pay dirt for the very reasons you mentioned. I would like to get some to learn how to pan and learn how to get more fun from it as you do. This source you showed, Eureka, looks promising. It's my desire to deal with people who have integrity. That's what's important to me. Thanks for showing us what we could expect to receive. I hope Eureka gets a lot of business as a result.
I enjoy picking up paydirt when I am on vacation. It's fun!
