thought i had lost all photos of my grandchildren, my tablet was put in a draw forgotten about untill i saw your video, its now working again thanks to you, i will now back up to a micro sd card just in case thankyou very much god bless.
Thanks so much, my son is happy since he played a lot Minecraft and now the tablet works again. Great guide!! I am a happy father now, since my son is happy 😊
Hi Sorin, I've been following your first class tutorials for a few weeks and I'm really glad I found your channel! as you suggested in an earlier video, I'm learning electronics, not just laptops. I've gone back to basics and re-learning from scratch even though I'm near retirement. so, many thanks for all your time and trouble in compiling these excellent lessons. very much worth all your time and trouble and effort. please keep it up! :-)
Thanks so so much, I had the exact same issue, the LCD ribbon had slipped out a tiny bit. You just saved me the price of a new tablet. Very happy son he can now get back to minecraft! All the best!
I just recently discovered your channel, and have been watching all your videos. Amazing stuff, keep up the good work! I have learned alot from your channel.
4:43 amazing. thank you. I've never believed it, when someone asked me "maybe only cable is unplug from the socket?". And what you think? How to prevent this? Kapton tape on it, can gives any good result?
Hi, thank you so much. I fixed my son's tablet today, with the help of your instruction. Seeing him so happy was a great feeling. We are so grateful, thanks.
interestingly enough, we've had a similar fault on a customer's device of the same type only last week. at first no backlight at all, then after taking it apart and replugging all connectors, no problem. my bet had been on the bl circuit itself, but i'm happy with an easy fix :) a strip of kapton tape on the connectors should hopefully prevent something like that from happening all too soon.
Nice easy fix :) Similar issue on the Galaxy Tab 10 from 2014 - you'd think they'd have figured out it's a bad design routing the ribbon cable over the battery with nothing holding it down!
@@paulzac5481 - yes the one I came across had already been taped once and then the backlight stopped working again unless it was properly connected during boot - a weak point and maybe planned obsolescence ;) :/
Hi. What would you do with an android phone (Vodafone 888) that lost the bootloader? (now it only appears as a Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 serial port.) Thanks.
Hello 👋 I have the same tablet but it keeps jumping the picture and it goes to recent open programs by its self, I restore it to factory and it keeps doing the same, the problem happens randomly sometimes it works well, can you help with this if you have a solution , thanks for the nice informative videos.
Amazing video. I opened mine up and samsung had tape over it. The minute i took tape off, the cable came out. Re inserted the cable did the power on and vol down at same time method and it powered on with 100% battery life!!! I think this tablet was designed with this flaw on purpose. 😡😡😡 such a dishonest world we live in!
Hi I have same tablet and its problem is that it makes a ticking noise while its on and no body it touching it the sound is like the click when you text on your mobile phone the sounds on the tablet are all turned off Any ideas ? Please
HEY its not laptop related but its about a Samsung galaxy note3 n900...it went off i tried turning it on but nothing comes out.tried putting the charger on it but it doesn't show charging or any led light on screen.i charged the battrey it is fine..but if i plug the phone to pc it makes a poping sound to the pc showing that it is recognised to pc but immidiately it discconects and continue doing it so.QUESTION what can be really the problem need help
Thanks for this video. I have managed to sort out my A6 tablet for the cost of the tools needed to remove the back. Very grateful for your help.

QUICK AND EASY FIX. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much you saved me a lot of money
Thank you for your lesson.
Would a small application of hot glue be okay to keep the cable in place?
No. It might tear the cable apart on the next few drops. For a reason there the flex was out and not torn.
@@HePBHuq not even on the ribbon, well below the connector?
@@stubdteauzgautugaux In my opinion would be a bad idea. You can give it a try if you wish, on your responsibility of course :)
Why not use double siddd tape intead of hot glue not too wide or too close to the connector so it can be taken off easy next time.
i broke the little black clip thing on the lcd strip thing what do i do
I think this a common issue.A lot of kids in my school have this problem. My friends hit the back of the tablet. It starts to work again.

eMMC ?
Check what voltage it takes and how it behaves when connecting to a power supply
Have tried another charging connector
@@paulzac5481 yess i did the battry has enough power but if i connect it to pc it detects and then disconect
@@ladbla1752 ok let me do that

Thanks for a really useful tip ..
Sounds like it needs tape across the connector, like a laptop display has..
i have just had this fault on a tab 2 like you suggested i put a bit of kapton tape make it more secure.
Vince Fell
Well it's better than it falling out in slow motion :-D
I've used sellotape/clear sticky tape, or thin brown packing tape.
@@vincef836 exactly what i do on most Samsung tablets.
Thanks God It does not have that tape... Samsung is giving us work to do!
wished that was the case with the sm-827 - turns out the screen have a fault and I was repairing one of those
My screen is froozed can you help me
nice......thanks for the info....
Mr. the sensible repair will be the same fault soon. You would give a piece of good adhesive tape and it would be great!
