Full coverage of the semi-finals in the women's 200m event as the USA's Allyson Felix, Caremlita Jeter and Sanya Richards-Ross and Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Veronica Campbell-Brown all advance to the final.
Since 1896, athletics has been on the programme of each edition of the Games of the Olympiad. Its presence on the Games programme has allowed its popularity to increase across the world. This popularity was also strengthened by the creation of the IAAF in 1912. Women's events appeared for the first time at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, while the men's programme was standardised as of the 1932 Games in Los Angeles. Although at the beginning women were authorised to participate in only some events, today their programme is almost identical to that of the men.

That curve turn by Allyson was TURBO!!!!
I ALWAYS tune in to watch Allyson. Im gonna miss her when she retires
Felix was literally jogging😂😂
9:48 Ya know, it must really suck coming out of the curve, and you are giving it all you have to make the final, you look ahead and there you see Felix...jogging the last 100 meters to the finish line.
ranhill lmao right
You know! She really was jogging while the rest were struggling.. Lol
Everything about the London Olympics was 10× better than Rio's.....the crowd, the camera angles, the atmosphere....everything
i literally just said the same thing, we should just do the olympics in london everytime
Jeter has such a beautiful smile 🖤👑
(3:20 heat 1, VCB, Jeter)
(9:00 heat 2, Felix, Ahoure)
(12:30 heat 3, SAFP, SRR)
You're welcome.
Thanks
I challenge anyone to find a more beautiful and graceful sprinter than Allyson Felix
Martin Beckley Natasha Hasting
Martin Beckley Flo Jo
ShannonWay Hastings? No. She's more of a power runner.
Noel Betton FloJo? No. Powerful, but graceful? Not at all.
Martin Beckley I submit The Gazelle, Marie José Perec.
Everything about the London games as it pertains to videography, is 10x superior than that of the Rio games.
Randall Hill I know the comment is pretty old, that’s because the Olympics didn’t have the rights to post full videos on UA-cam. NBC had those rights, how fucked up is that!
Adeoye has perfect abs !
Yea USA all day but aaliyson Felix is a beast
Look at these beautiful black women
@Baby Zaria black women* all ways want to bush black women lmaoo
@goated_zaria Tell her

I find it funny The US women had on basically full suits 😂😂
Imagine training for years
Just for a few seconds of glory
Lylah Glover but then it’s like no one have been able to beat flo jo record. I want someone to beat it to bad. I’ll be waiting for the 2020 Olympics like my life depends on it. Her record is hurting the female sprinters.
purplecatlover1825 randompizza imagine being so dumb for writing this comment
purplecatlover1825 randompizza omg true, kinda why I like long distance and i feel more accomplished
Quin well u won’t being seeing that since it’s canceled
Sanya Richards-Ross is awesome! 400 meter champ and also very good in the 200. A difficult double to do along with also running the 4x400 relay!
Allyson Felix is beast !! Running 100m 200m 4x400m 4x100m ? Wkwkww
Allyson felix... What a sprinter and what a woman
Felix, lite work.
She jogged and won the race
Word she ain't even try
Campbell brown from lane 9
Very good
These women look awesome :)
"Felix looks so good in the heat"yes she do
Brilliant race
My best wishes to all Athletics💞👍👏
even if campbell would have concentrate only on the 200....she still wouldnt have beaten felix ...felix was way too strong in this olympic ... maybe vcb could have get a silver ....if she was atleast in a 22.00 shape ...maybe we could have atleast seen a 21.70 by felix ......and if Felix did only ran the 200 ...she could have got a 21.60 ..she is soooo fast
bjseraus And if my mom started there she could have broken the world record...
bjseraus I kinda disagree becuz when VCB won both her Olympic titles her 100 times were never as fast as 10.81 which she did to get the bronze. She clearly was in very fast shape. What she lacked was endurance. And 200m is both speed and enduring that speed. Had she focus more on her endurance she would have won. She came off the curve in the lead with Shelly. And has never come of the curve ahead and lost.
Joel Miller no way Felix was losing this race, even if VCB was in peak form. This was the best Felix had ever been. She ran in FOUR olympic finals, won 3 of them, and set a personal best in the 100 final at 10.89
@@ranhill62 This is the kinda comment that arises from being overrated for winning more relay medals rather than individual ones.
9:37 did y’all hear here growl
❤🇧🇷vamooosss
Yo 9:38 the Ukraine chick’s grunt makes me laugh each time...she yells about 10 secs before also 🤣🤣🤣🤣
hand
Getting over that Bar is hard!!!
Wow look how beautiful the woman from Cypress is! She's glowing! 🌟
its stood for 24 years and the nearest anyone has got is by 3/100th. Its a formid record and probably the only person atm who could get near it is Allyson Felix
I know this is old but, didnt it seem like Felix slow down at the end😒
Yeah cuz it’s the semi-final
Jetter had the first race...she just slowed down
Lane 5 just went 22.30 !
13:24 honeslty i dont think shelly couldve held on the last 50 meters against richards ross 400m endurance.. lol she lowkey couldnt hold her off even tho shelly was jogging that first 100m .. still cant afford to give sanya that lead at the end LOL
sooo the scream 😂😂
Lourd
The picture quality of the london olympics still trumps that of rio and tokyo.
Women’s gymnastics 2021
Lane 9 went 22.32.

9:02 On your marks (Scream)
Guys, what is the difference between Q and q??
Q is automatic qualification for the next round (so in this race finishing in first or second position). The small q means that the athlete has qualified for the next round by the next best time of all the competitors who did not qualify by right.
q is fastest loser
"Q" means automatic qualification to the next level. Whereas the "q" determines one's fate among the those who didn't qualify automatically but having a better time among the least times
sonya is the best
No baby you can't give them up
If any kong kinh has problems with their relation
Allyson Felix about 2 woop some asz i luv u baby..
