---This video was recorded over the week of Christmas. The villagers were kind enough to allow me to record their lifestyle, homes, people and to drone footage the airstrip. They are generally friendly and keen to accommodate.
---If one knows how to communicate and understand the culture there are endless amazing stories about the Papuan ways. They are some of the toughest people on Earth and have endured many hardships. Nevertheless they still know how to enjoy life and show happiness and gratitude everywhere they go.
---The village of Gokodimi is located about 30NM South of Nabire.

I really enjoyed this video, thank you very much. I used to work for a company called National Utility Helicopters. This was in the early 1970s, back in the days of the Cargo Cult. I even worked out of Sorong for a while. It's very interesting to see how things have changed over the years. It's so very different now.

@@APilotsHome Hey! Thanks for the reply! Looking at that wild terrain, I was reminded of the Japanese effort to march an army across the PNG to assault Port Moresby. The poor devils never stood a chance, dying to a man. BTW, I also have a pilot license and I'm always looking for a nice open field for a dead-stick landing in case of engine failure. But, no such luck over that landscape - maybe a belly flop in a streambed?
