@@samwill7259Maybe that's why? Like how Peter used Spider-man as a way to let loose and do all sorts of banter. Betty designed her outfit so that she can express herself colorfully and proudly as a woman.
These comments must be trolling. That's one of the worst costumes I've seen. Her, Moon dragon, Ms. Marvel; what was it in the 70's that these guys with women with their legs uncovered? And "Spider girl " would be nice during those winters in New York I guess

You probably won’t see this. But I just wanted to say. I’m an opiate/fentanyl addict. & last year I got clean.. that comes with withdrawal. And while I was sick as a dog for around 14 days from chemical dependency. I listened to this UA-cam channel. It helped me through those rough days & long nights. Helped me stay diligent, instead of just relapsing to end the sickness.
It may sound corny but this channel saved my life in a way.
Next week I will have a full year of complete sobriety.

Hello there Merry Marvelite and fellow community members. I just wanted to say that I am very happy to be a part of this channel and hear the fantastic information about The Marvel Universe.
As for this video, I just wanted to say that it was absolutely awesome and I really enjoyed learning about the different Spider-folks in Marvel's strange and fun What If Multiverse. I will admit that I did know about some of these What If stories, but I really enjoyed finding the details more interesting.

You know, there's a weird thing about the original What If. Early on, they did the famed What If Someone Else Had Become Spider-Man (which you noted), using Betty Brant, Flash Thompson, and John Jameson. The whole point of the Spider-Man story was that anyone in the right place at the wrong time (so to speak) could have been bitten by the radioactive spider and gained spider powers. But in the end, that mantra of "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" was always paramount, and demonstrated how these very different personalities took that mantra to heart.
A year later, they did a variant on the concept using Nova (Richard Rider), but it didn't work as well. In the Nova issue, the energy that turned Richard Rider into Nova seemed to be beamed all over the place. There was no consistency as to any of the stories - either its frame or how its protagonist gains the Nova power. One focused on a homeless man who for some reason lived in a world where none of the Marvel metahumans ever existed. Another focused on a young lady obsessed with revenge following the death of her husband and shows no mercy to her targets, even the Kingpin. One was an even more unlucky and morose Peter Parker, the only story with a recognizable protagonist. And the final story focused on an unnamed criminal who lucked onto the Nova powers AND the ship and tried to make himself the super criminal of all time with Doctor Doom and the Sphinx. It wasn't a case of being in the right place at the right time, and didn't do a good job of emphasizing Spider-Man's mantra. In short, it was as if Marvel had a manual on how to do the story(ies) but miffed the exam. Very weird.

I *desperately* need more of that last one. That honestly sounds like a great first season of a long-running show. A little much to use for just one movie as a jumping-off point for an entire series but you could probably cover it in like a first season. Might be pushing it to squeeze the entire season, but you would be rushing a lot of it to do you like a two or three part series opener.
Excuse me Mr. Marvelite, would you consider doing a video on the origins of Dr. Stephen Strange and by extension the many spells alliteratively allocated to him? I adore your content as you not only shine light on obscure or just plain old characters and stories that many wouldn't have heard of otherwise but you allow me to enjoy this universe and explore the lore without needing to use the awful, computer-slowing, ad-ridden wiki. I hope I speak for more than myself in saying that you are doing The One Above All's work and are infinitely appreciated, thank you. And a most Happy Birthday!

That last story do need some new chapters to see the outcome.
